Loved the rooftop patio overlooking the Acropolis! It has a nice seating area and a very cold little dipping pool. Bed comfortable with nice linens. Only one small problem reported to staff is the door bell randomly rings … apparently it can be turned off.

The property and rooms are updated and nicely furnished. However, they are a bit small. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or bar so you have to rely on room service or eat elsewhere. The lobby, elevator are also very small and you can’t hang out. The same goes for rooftop pool which is tiny and terrace has few chairs. Nothing attractive. If you need a clean place to just crash for a night or two then it’s fine but the area around the hotel is very bad. We didn’t feel very safe at night walking back and getting a taxi is not very convenient. There’s another five star hotel just few minutes walk down the street or similar , decent hotel in Plaka that has all the amenities and we wish we had reserved that instead. Regardless, the staff here is very nice and so is the room decor. Note that this is also on a heavy traffic street so you can hear vehicles even late at night. Overall it’s okay but we paid a very high price for a small room.

Rooms were nice and clean, the location is a bit in a weird neighborhood (garages/autoparts/etc). Rooftop terrace & pool have an amazing view on the acropolis and lots of table to look at the view while having a drink or dinner but note they don’t have any restaurant in the hotel. Was supposed to have a bottle of wine included in our stays and never got it. Overall it’s a good place depending what you are looking for and at what price.

The staff here were so helpful and welcoming. Had plenty of advice to give on the local area and were able to provide towels and irons where needed. Hotel was spotless, beautifully decorated, and quiet for a restful nights sleep. The roof top pool is small but an excellent way to cool off or relax after a day catching the sights!

Staff were amazing - friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned daily and towels refreshed regularly. Room was well equipped. Lovely roof terrace. I hate to say anything negative at all but, it’s a noisy street, so bring earplugs. There were 3 restaurants just round the corner which were excellent, Paulis, Lostre & Kiklo.

We had a wonderful short stay at Athesense Suites. Check in was super easy, the staff were lovely. The pool on the roof was perfect for cooling off after a hot day sightseeing. The room has everything we needed. It was a great size and had an amazing view of the acropolis. The hotel was only a short walk from Plaka and had some nice restaurants near by. I would definitely recommend staying here.

New opened hotel in Athen. The rooms are very modern and clean. Place for parking is available. All sights of Athen can be reached by foot. Since there is no breakfast, bakeries and breakfast restaurants are also just a few meters away. Pool was not ready yet (18th of June 2023) - so it‘s not part of this evaluation. But the rooftop with view to Acropolis looks pretty amazing. We would stay in this hotel again and recommend it.

Such friendly and helpful staff at this lovely hotel. Rooms are modern with everything you need and plenty of room for a family of 4. I'd highly recommend the panoramic suite - what a view! The local area is slightly run down but perfectly safe and inside the hotel you'd never know. The location is also fantastic as 3 mins to the Temple Olympian, 5 mins walk to the Acropolis, 15 to Parliament, 15 to Plaka and the great restaurants! The pool and roof terrace overlooking the Acropolis was a real bonus and the kids loved it- it was warm water too. Laundry facilities are also great and helpful when travelling with kids. I would highly recommend Athesense Suites! Read less

The room is very small, not for more than two people (we had our kid with us). Although main tourist places are walkable distance, the area around is not that nice. The “pool” is very small can not fit more than 2-3 people at the time.

Interesting boutique hotel. We had a two-story two bedroom two bath unit with a kitchenette, etc. Bedrooms are super small. Bathrooms are even smaller. But it’s decorated well and very clean. The area is not great — it’s a 20-minute walk to where you want to be and good luck getting a taxi or uber…it’s just not happening.

Overall a decent stay. Good location with easy access to the acropolis and shopping/restaurants nearby. The rooms are good size with a comfortable bed and good amenities. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the hotel is on a busy road and despite some soundproofing in place, you can still hear the traffic throughout the day/night, especially on the lower floors.

The hotel was lovely! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Room was ready when we arrived early. Room was exactly as described on the site. We had room 402 which had a separate bedroom and pullout sofa. The view of the Acropolis from the bedroom window was amazing! Hotel was immaculate and quiet. The only drawback is the location on a very busy and noisy street, although the room seemed well insulated from the outside noise. A short walk to the Plaka district for shopping and dining.

Stayed here when we arrived at Athens before island hoping. Good location, clean rooms and a nice small pool on the rooftop that overlooks the acropolis. They also have a transfer service to and from the airport and ferry port. The drivers we had through this were also great and the hotel arranges everything for you.

I was impressed by the accommodations as they are suites and were comfortable. The roof top patio has a nice pool for a dip or just to look at the Acropolis at night. We were able to walk to most transportation ports and restaurants. They even assisted with the shuttle service from the airport and to the cruise terminal. If I ever get back to Athens I would stay here again. I did not get to use the spa. Maybe next time.

We loved staying here. We were on a 5 week holiday from NZ and we had 9 hotels booked to stay at between the UK, Europe and Singapore. This by far was our favorite due to location, service and cleanliness. First off the receptionist who greeted us on the first day was so amazing and helpful. She gave us tips on where to eat and she was spot on with her recommendations. Very close within walking distance to everything. Highly recommend this accommodation to everyone and would stay here again! Thank you for making our holiday an enjoyable one!!

From the moment we arrived we had a very good experience at the hotel. The service was very friendly and helpful. The rooms feel brand new and were very well equipped. The location is very convenient to see the sites of Athens and the neighborhood is safe. We will definitely return to this hotel when in Athens in the future.

This place is a hidden gem in Athens' touristy area, walking distance to Acropolis and Parthenon, and many other ruins. Super clean, spacious and modern. The receptionists and staff are super friendly and helpful. My two teenage sons liked the gym in the basement very much, that's actually the reason we booked this hotel. It's equipped with all the basics, it even has an ERG machine! This property is on the verge of tourist and residential areas, so there are couple of supermarkets around within walking distance. Good to check them out, we bought some super yummy black olives, cheap but good beer and nice wine there.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very pleasant and helpful people - George, Annie, and Marisa were excellent, always willing to help (book us taxis, answer questions, give directions, etc). We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Location walkable to Plaka and the Acropolis. The front desk staff were amazing, especially Mariza, who was so friendly and helpful. She made wonderful recommendations for our stay in Athens and for other stops on our trip.

Property was clean, well maintained, 10 min walk to main shopping areas, front desk staff was great, provided lots of great suggestions , they reserved taxi to and from airport and was very convenient and on time… Will definitely come back here if we travel back to the area

It was nice that the hotel was new. Very clean. Area around the hotel at night can feel a little sketchy. Very close to the Acropolis by foot.

This was a super convenient place to stay with about a 15-20 min walk to Plaka and equally close to the Acropolis. Very walkable! Also lots of cute restaurants and shops a few blocks away. The hotel was new and rooms had nice fixtures and products. The rooftop has a great view of the acropolis and a small pool.

It is a beautiful hotel. The rooftop view is amazing Just what we wanted. Walking distance to bascially everything. With that said must warn people it seems to be in a very rundown neighborhood . Never felt unsafe but it is ugly with old abandon buildings and graffiti. again the hole is lovely and the staff wonderful

Overall a decent stay. Good location with easy access to the acropolis and shopping/restaurants nearby. The rooms are good size with a comfortable bed and good amenities. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the hotel is on a busy road and despite some soundproofing in place, you can still hear the traffic throughout the day/night, especially on the lower floors.

Area directly surrounding the property is a little older and run down. They were renovating the building next door, so upgrades seem to be in progress of the area. There was noise during the day of the construction we could hear loudly in our room. But were generally only during reasonable hours of 9am-5pm. The location is extremely ideal for those wanting to explore around Acropolis. A short walk to plenty of delicious restaraunts and other historicals sites as well. The staff were extrememly responsive and super healpful for anything we requested. Especially transportation since we were there during a strike by the taxi union. Would recommend to anyone staying in Athens,

New opened hotel in Athen. The rooms are very modern and clean. Place for parking is available. All sights of Athen can be reached by foot. Since there is no breakfast, bakeries and breakfast restaurants are also just a few meters away. Pool was not ready yet (18th of June 2023) - so it‘s not part of this evaluation. But the rooftop with view to Acropolis looks pretty amazing. We would stay in this hotel again and recommend it.

Clean room and friendly staff. Location was great... close to Acropolis, supermarkets, some decent restaurants and metro station. We had an issue with a very cold shower on our last night, otherwise all good.

Would definitely revisit! Although on arrival, it didn’t appear to be a great area to stay in, we were less than 20 minutes walk from SO much (e.g. Acropolis, Olympic Stadium, Zappion, Temple of Zeus) - so an ideal location! The hotel was very modern, clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and the daily restocked fridge/Espresso machine was such a treat! After a long day walking, it was so relaxing to put your feet in the rooftop pool whilst drinking a wine and watching the sun set over the Acropolis. No bar on the rooftop but the staff made it clear that we could take our on drinks up there. The staff were chatty, helpful and friendly.

The room was clean and nice. The desk clerk was very helpful in recommending a place to go eat and not at the touristy places where the prices are higher than they are at a local family owned restaurant. They also recommended a few places to visit if you were tired of going on guided tours and you wanted to explore on your own. I recommend that. I enjoyed the food and the recommendations that they gave me. I recommend this hotel if you don't want to stay in a hotel in downtown Athens.

Great location and staff. Annie made our stay AMAZING. She had the best recommendations, was always available to help us and made us feel so special and welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and the shower had very hot water which was great for relaxing. They also offer massage services and helped us order food whenever we didn't want to go out. The hotel had a wonderful view from the rooftop pool and a couple of bus/tram stations nearby which made getting around very convenient.

The property and rooms are updated and nicely furnished. However, they are a bit small. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or bar so you have to rely on room service or eat elsewhere. The lobby, elevator are also very small and you can’t hang out. The same goes for rooftop pool which is tiny and terrace has few chairs. Nothing attractive. If you need a clean place to just crash for a night or two then it’s fine but the area around the hotel is very bad. We didn’t feel very safe at night walking back and getting a taxi is not very convenient. There’s another five star hotel just few minutes walk down the street or similar , decent hotel in Plaka that has all the amenities and we wish we had reserved that instead. Regardless, the staff here is very nice and so is the room decor. Note that this is also on a heavy traffic street so you can hear vehicles even late at night. Overall it’s okay but we paid a very high price for a small room.

The hotel was in the best location. Lots of dining and shopping options. 10 minutes walk to the Acropolis. Very nice view of the Acropolis from the pool. My only dislike is the views from the room was not so nice. And the hotel didn’t have no restaurant. But other than that. We loved it and would recommend it.

Rooms were nice and clean, the location is a bit in a weird neighborhood (garages/autoparts/etc). Rooftop terrace & pool have an amazing view on the acropolis and lots of table to look at the view while having a drink or dinner but note they don’t have any restaurant in the hotel. Was supposed to have a bottle of wine included in our stays and never got it. Overall it’s a good place depending what you are looking for and at what price.

The hotel is really good, very clean and in a great location for the city centre. The rooftop pool area is very comfortable and has great views of the Acropolis. However our room faced the main road and there was a full scaffold directly outside with workers banging and drilling during the day. This meant we could not use the balcony or leave our curtains open at any time. This is the reason I did not give the hotel a full rating.
