They make you go through a metal detector and have your bags inspected by armed guards each time you enter the building. Had to park on gravel because the small parking lot was full. TVs in the elevators were broken.

The hotel room was very clean and modern. There was plenty of towels provided and the sheets were clean and soft. The main complaint was the parking. There was a poker tournament going on and the hotel expanded their parking lot into the grass in front of the hotel. So it was a bit of a walk and having to go over or around temporary barriers each time you had to go to the car. There was also construction going on at 8 am every morning on the first floor but it could be heard on the second floor as well.

The poker room was situated in the main lobby of the hotel. It was busy almost every night with poker games, which made Parking. Very frustrating for hotel guests. Each time you enter the hotel you had to go through security and baggage check was also a little annoying. However, on the flipside the extra security made One feel safer in the hotel property

I didn’t realize the ceiling was leaking until I woke up the next day. It’s right above the AC Unit by the window. A dark brown liquid. A huge puddle was behind the curtain. I checked out early around 9 an instead of 11a. I was immediately grossed out. I told the front desk

The hotel was very nice and modern. Our room had an off putting smell. We sprayed Lysol and room spray but that didn't change anything. It smelled of stale smoke which was a huge difference from what the halls smelled like. Also, for it to be a new hotel, that bathtub was lacking! It wasn't properly cleaned so we had to improvise. The water from the bathroom sink got hotter than the shower. I wiped everything down with Clorox wipes. The bathroom sink wasn't properly cleaned either. Overall the check in process was smooth, security was friendly, and the staff were accommodating! The bathroom would likely keep me from booking again.

The bathtub water faucet keeps on leaking & making noises throughout the nights. I also informed that body wash dispenser wasn’t working either. We informed the hotel thru text messages & they said that the problem will be taken care but nothing was done. I was happy that hotel was texting us to check on our stay & see if we need anything but I guess it was a waste of my time replying back.

Very nice and respectful staff, they try their very best to accommodate but the property itself is old, dirty and needs serious work, not the cheap renovation that has already been done to it. The room and bathroom we’re both dirty upon check in. The bathroom had bugs and random peoples’ hairs in the shower wall. The bedrooms carpet was sticky and had an odd stench upon entering. The bed sheets and pillows were also stinky. I had them replaced later which helped a little but the pillows have no form/body and need to all be replaced. Please keep in mind this “hotel” doesn’t have cribs and while we were there there was no room service, no pool or hot tub access. There was also a sign posted in the elevator “in case it breakdowns”. Coming here with our baby we felt VERY uncomfortable to the point where we had to checkout early. We were charged for the first 2 nights we stayed but refunded the rest of the week we were supposed to stay till.

Facility and inside the main floor is nice but the bathroom tub had mold around the tub and the tiles were painted, which were chipping. My tub was clogged. I was locked out of my room 3 times during my stay.

The desk is too small, the smallest one among hotels we have stayed. There is no shelves which is very rare in a hotel. There was a single chair in the room which was inconvenient for 2 people to stay.

Very unique hotel stay - first floor hosts a private poker club which seems to necessitate security as you enter. All went smoothly with entry and check. Staff was highly professional and helpful. We forgot our room key and Kero (?) was especially great about making sure we got a new key and went out of his way to make sure we were able to get back into our room. Lobby area was very clean. Room was spotless! Only down side was hearing the poker tournament announcements from our room as we were trying to go to sleep. Not too loud but we could hear them… window coverings did not completely block out light (not too bad but black out blinds maybe a good idea? and we did not have hot water in the morning. Overall a very good stay

The unique features of this hotel are a poker club and affordable room prices. Because the plenty of guards, it is safe to stay here. Our room was spacious, but there was no microwave or glasses. There were curtains, but they were not blackout. The room was lit all night from the street lights and headlights, even though we used the curtains. It was noisy because of the nearby Sam Houston Tollway. We did not have a chance to check the swimming pool. The breakfast was expensive ($20 per person) but delicious. It is better to find breakfast options nearby, but we did not have much time to do it.

Friendly, helpful staff. Valet dude is always taking care of us. Front desk ladies are awesome. Crossing paths with the housekeepers is always a friendly exchange. Clean room. Comfortable bed and pillows. My cell pairs with TV easily for playing music. Nice, large towels and great water pressure in the showers. More than adequate workout room. Good breakfast.

The hotel was so so. The check in was not great. I waited maybe 20 minutes, granted it wasn’t the person who worked there fault it was the guest but that was strike 1. The hotel security was top notch. The area is a little sketchy however I felt good that a security car and guard was there 24/7. Another strike was paying for a late check out only to be woken up by house keeping and having to explain we had late check out to 3 different people. We ended up just checking out at noon since we woke up and the Customer Service lady was great by removing the fee. Over all was an okay stay.

This is my first time staying at this hotel. The place is safe and easily accessible to the freeway and Chinatown. The security and the rest of the staff are very nice. They send you text alerts to see if you would be needing anything during your stay. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at Champions Club and Hotel in Houston Westchase and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made check-in and my overall stay very smooth and welcoming. One of the things I really appreciated was the location—it's conveniently close to a variety of dining options and restaurants, making it easy to grab a quick bite or enjoy a nice meal without going far. Additionally, the easy freeway access made getting around Houston much more convenient. The only downside I encountered was a minor issue with the restroom, where the water was continuously running, which was a bit annoying during the night. Despite that, it was a good stay overall. I'd consider coming back for the great service and convenient location.

I love that the property is so close to everything I’m driving distance. The room was very nice and they communicated throughout the day if i needed anything. The pool wasn’t open when i was excited to get in it but it was closed, and the only other problem we couldn’t watch tv for 3 days which sucked. The bar food for breakfast was good. But i will definitely stay again
