Carlsbad Seapointe Resort

A garden room was assigned to us, we had no view of the ocean. We did have a front row seat of the kiddies play ground, happy, playful screeching toddlers ran back and forth on the putting green! I absolutely adore children and laughter however, this is my relaxing vacation so this location was not ideal for us. I requested a room on a second floor but there weren’t any available at the time so we spent our time inside with the slider door shut. A high price to pay for a nursery, I did not enjoy the location of my room. The property and surroundings are well maintained, the staff are accommodating and manage the front desk very well. The kitchen was well appointed. This room would be ideal for a family with kids, kiddie pool, splash fountain and putting green right there in front of you!

Great rooms to make own breakfast, lunch, dinner. Plan accordingly with plentiful outside options!

We are from San Diego and have stayed here a few times as a staycation, we really love it as a family with 2 kids. In addition to the beautiful and easy beach access, there are so many activities to do ant the resort…and, Dexter, the activities manager, is the kindest, most fun, and genuine person . We love the seapointe.

Nice view and quiet hotel

Didn’t see any staff accept front desk - no one came by to see if we needed more towels or anything but there was a card with someone to call if we needed anything .., the smoke alarm went off cooking breakfast called from desk they said they would send maintenance the alarm went off for about 15 min no one EVER came glad there wasn’t a fire.., the room was older I have stayed at other locations that were much nicer .., there was rust on some of the silverware.., there was no where to discard garbage so I had to just leave bags outside our room .. for the price I would not stay here again. Disappointed I should have stayed at the other location they have Pacific palisades much nicer also the accept pets.
