DeGoya Studios Bucharest Old Town

DeGoya Studios has an excellent location in Bucharest’s Old Town, within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and bars. The studios do not have their own reception, so check-in and any assistance are handled at the neighboring Rembrandt Old Town Hotel. The staff were friendly, but needing to leave the building to get help at night was inconvenient. The room was generally clean, but the bathroom was small, outdated, and the shower looked worn. It was difficult to tell if some areas were simply old or affected by mold, so this is something to be aware of as there is no pictures of the shower on the booking pages. Noise levels were inconsistent. One night was quiet, while another we experienced loud banging from around 9:00 p.m. until 12:30 a.m., making it difficult to sleep. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay if location is your priority, but the bathroom, lack of an on-site reception, and inconsistent noise mean there’s room for improvement.

Great spot, right in the heart of the Old Town. Everything was clean, staff was nice.

Stayed with my daughter for 2 nights. At first the place looks well hidden but it was the perfect place to be. The building is old yet clean. Checkin, checkout was a breeze. It's location in city center makes it perfect to go around walking everywhere.

The best choice if you want right in the centre. New and clean. Definitely pick it. You don’t even need a car to go around the city.

The room is clean, tastefully decorated, and has everything you need in it. The bed is comfortable and the washroom has a modern shower that works very well. It is a bit noisy on weekends but the location makes up for it. The entrance is a bit awkward (and the sink is super tiny!) but for the price, you can’t go wrong.
