What this place has going for it is definitely location, it’s situated on the beach walk close to tons of restaurants and shopping! The beach is a 5 min walk across the store. The included breakfast and happy hour are definitely great enhancements to the stay. Now for the not so great. This hotel is huge and I feel for the amount of guest staying it can get very cramped in the dining hall and buffet area. I never used the pool because everyday there was no seats open and every square inch of the pool was full. It’s really a very tiny pool for such a big hotel. And the fact that some loungers/cabanas had to be rented is bonkers! Especially when you are already paying a “resort fee”. The elevators are a whole other issue as well. Sometimes it would take 5-10 min to get an elevator, they would pass and just be incredibly full. And when you’re on a high level it makes taking the stairs impossible or a chore. The rooms are clean and have nice decor and big tv’s that a plus especially since you can kind of tell it’s an older building they have renovated. Some things were off like the water not draining properly in the tub and our toilet feeling crooked and the tiny sinks. Overall pleasant stay but would definitely not stay there again. Would recommend maybe during not such a busy time of year as the summer.

Embassy is a very short walk to the beach, just go across the street to the side walk next to the museum where it’s not as crowded as Waikīkī beach. The hotel is a bit old, but it was in a great area, has a great breakfast, and the staff were all super friendly. Only parking is valet, and the closest parking lot is even more expensive, but valet was definitely worth it and super fast.

Overall, a really nice hotel. It was clean, the pool was nice, and the staff members were professional. There are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby and the beach is a pretty quick walk. I wish there were more elevators, but the elevators themselves are very fast. Parking is expensive, but that's true in much of Honolulu.

Great location, lots of restaurants and close to the beach. The building is old, wallpaper is falling off in some places. The hallways and elevators are very stuffy. Uniform breakfast menu Seats in dining room and outside are smeared with bird droppings, enjoy your meal. When making cocktails, some bartenders apply pineapple decorations with hands without gloves.

Mattresses should have been changed out 500 guests ago, clean glasses to drink out of had dried chunks in them.. super gross. Someone came and changed them out but I was already disgusted. They have free breakfast which was great for the budget but found dirty dishes there too. Loved the evening free drinks at the pool. Saved money there too! Great walkability to everything!

I had a great time celebrating my birthday with family. We booked a King Suite with a partial view of the ocean. The complementary breakfast was a great perk. As well as the reception every night where we got two free drinks per adult. While we didn’t eat breakfast every day nor attend the reception every night, having that as part of our stay was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and the room with clean. Having worked in the hospitality industry I was definitely analyzing everything at this establishment and I was very pleased with the overall cleanliness of the hotel. The concierge came in very handy for organizing activities while on the island and the access to shops in the beach was ideal. Lol I neglected to get any photos of the room, I only took one video.

Breakfast is great to have but seeing cockroaches by the plates is disgusting. When we checked in bathtub was clogged. Hallway carpet is dirty. Staff at the front desk doesn’t clearly give you better information about the property but merely giving a paper

had a good time at Embassy suites. enjoyed the free breakfasts and happy hour drinks. disappointed that there is no coffee shop restaurant on premises. but many restaurants nearby my room 501 can use a new mattress soon. i could feel the dents in the bed when i layed down at night.

The suites are very spacious. In addition there is a balcony.I hate to compare, but having stayed cramped at Holiday Express for the past 2 visits, this was like a breath of fresh air. Free breakfast and omelets made to order sealed the deal.

We enjoyed having a two room suite separated by a living room for our family of five. The layout was ideal. They had a breakfast buffet each morning and a pool for the kids which was a plus. They also had daily free evening drinks at the bar. Oddly it was hard to get bottled water after our initial check in. 3 dollars for tiny bottles were available at vending machines, but a minor issue overall. Not super modern but well maintained and looked nice overall.

Got locked out of our room based on a mis-direction from fromt desk regarding when rsort fee was to be paid. At check in we were told resort fee was paid at check out. Halfway through our stay they locked us out of our room stating it should of been paid at check-in. We really didnt care when to pay it. Just be consistent in direction.

Our recent stay at this property was disappointing on multiple levels. The rooms were old, had an unpleasant mold smell. Both room sinks were clogged, and overall the accommodations felt extremely dated. With only two elevators per tower, the wait times were often five minutes or more—far from convenient. Parking was another frustration. Charging $65 per day with no self-parking option is excessive. Additionally, both of our rooms were placed directly next to the elevators. When we attempted to switch, the front desk told us that our “pay tier” only included elevator-adjacent rooms—something we’ve never heard of before. We booked through Hotels.com and are Hilton Honors members, so this explanation made even less sense. While the hotel may be family-friendly and kid-oriented, it is not suited for business travelers. One of the most concerning issues was the lack of respect for guest privacy. Engineering staff attempted to enter our rooms—despite a “Do Not Disturb” sign—because they wanted to retrofit sofas. The hotel even called to say it was fine NOT to let them in. Yet when we returned at the end of the day, someone had entered the room anyway. They even opened the bedroom door that I had intentionally closed to keep them out of that space. This should never happen. Overall, this hotel needs to prioritize guest comfort and privacy over internal operations. It is extremely dated, noisy, and not ideal for anyone traveling for business.

The staff at the hotel is the best there is. They are extremely accomodating.Scott in engineering goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be! Aldrin and Jay at breakfast work hard daily. Justin food and drink manager does awesome.Keola and Mial'e are the best bartenders you can ask for! Best place to stay hands down!!

From the moment our family arrived the valet was terrific - helping us take our luggage and giving us directions to check in. We couldn’t have found a better person to check us in. She was fantastic. Very welcoming and pleasant to talk to. Helped us figure out what we can do and talked about her experience with keiki hula and merrie monarch. Then the breakfast was amazing. The staff was very helpful with seats, etc. our grandchildren loved the pool, etc

A really comfortable stay for our family holiday with 3 adults and 3 kids. Having a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite was really handy. Great location close to everything you need or want. We loved the breakfast in the morning and the afternoon drinks by the pool. Only issue was that we consistently got the wrong information from concierge. For example, they told us the wrong trolley line to get to Ala Moana and didn’t know the Waikele Premium Outlets when we asked. Luckily we’ve been to Waikiki many times so could work it out for ourselves.

The hotel was clean and conveniently located. We had multiple restaurants to walk to. Shops to browse in and right across the street is an ABC Deli store which was great to grab and pack a lunch, snacks and drinks before heading to the beach. We had rented a car so there was valet service each time we came and went, which was also convenient. Just be prepared to pay the daily parking rate that the hotel charges. Daily breakfast spread was also provided. Going back and forth from beach to pool was also easy as the hotel is so close to the beach where there was umbrella service and boogie boards to rent! Loved our stay here!

I really liked the location to everything and Waikiki beach walking distance. Rooms were a good size for Waikiki and beds were comfortable. I didn’t like the complimentary breakfast which is included in the stay. It’s very basic and the eggs were constantly watery everyday. The sausage burnt and never served pancakes. There is an omelet station that takes forever but is okay. Very disappointed in the fresh fruit options, no berries always just pineapple and cantaloupe. The other downside is the valet fee extremely high, which since they only offer valet no self parking it shouldn’t cost more if you starting at the hotel. That added an additional $350 just in parking to my stay. I still tipped the valet drivers every time but then they put my out of pocket at $450 just for parking. It wasn’t their fault for the enormous parking fee and they were good to me. Other than that everything else was nice.

Parking is 62$ and breakfast needs more variety. Coffee was awful. Omelette station was good. Evening reception was meh. They had chips or veggies with ranch every night. Limited drinks we could get complementary. Staff are nice. Just a few uptight staff. Valet staff were really nice. Concierge service will charge u to book anything - just do it yourself- you will save money.
