Great location walkable to downtown SSI. Adorable English inspired room decor and grounds. Breakfast was excellent...much more than continental. Fairly quiet. Nearby restaurants had live music Fri and Sat nights which you can hear in room. But stopped by 11pm. Note the kidney shaped pool is small and wasnt clean proba ly because it was pre season. The canopy of live oaks make the pool of an atmosphere not really for wading/swimming. Internet was a bit spotty in room.

The front desk attendant called me at 7:00 pm to inquire when I would arrive - somewhat put out because she was ready to get off. It was not a late arrival but after 2 days of driving - I was doing the best I could. Had it been 9 or 10 I could understand it but 7 pm was quite early. She was not friendly when I arrive. Then the music started and lasted late. The room was nice except for the hole in the ceiling over the tub that needed patching. The room was so loud due to the late night pub activity. It was even worse on the weekend nights. It was hard to hear the tv in the room. Parking was awful and I got the last place on Saturday evening at 5:30. Extremely limited to be so early. The second day I returned to my room to find housekeeping had not closed the door all the way. That was unsettling. Great convenient location but certainly a trade off. I would not recommend this property for anyone doing business travel or trying to get rest. It was distracting and loud.

This B&B was a perfect little get away. Its cozy, clean, convenient with a friendly staff. Its historic in a gorgeous neighborhood. Very tasty breakfast and cocktails. Live music three nights a week. The room decor is beautifully done, cute balconies and very comfortable beds. The little added touches were not missed, chocolate's on the pillows, fresh cookies upon arrival, espresso coffee in the rooms and lobby. The only low would be that we didnt get to enjoy the pool. It rained the day we arrived and took two days to get the pool swim ready which was the day we were leaving. This would be 5 stars otherwise and we will definitely be returning.

Beautiful room with luxury touches and perfect walkable location to great restaurants and shopping. Room turnover service every day, which is rare since Covid. No elevator, so keep that in mind if you get a 2nd floor room. The continental breakfast reminded me of what you get in Europe--fresh fruit and pastries. In room Nespresso coffee maker sure beats the Keurig-types. I would definitely stay here again.

A+++ we loved our king deluxe room. The bedding was super soft and comfy, nespresso machine in the room, robes, slippers, great happy hour at the reception area. Well kept and clean property, every little detail was thought out from the glasses to silverware. 100% would recommend.

We truly enjoyed our stay- our room was beautiful and so was the pool courtyard area. We enjoyed our breakfast one morning and loved how cozy the atmosphere was with the fire and amenities. We were nervous when the place got so packed from the live music night that we couldn't find a parking spot that we would be up all night with the noise from the crowd but we weren't at all. The only thing I'll note is that there was a lot of humidity in the room, although the HVAC system seemed to be running without incident. It was more humid in the room than it was outside, so it wasn't the weather. We just kept the fan running on high and it helped.

The inn itself was great. Beds were comfortable, room was beautiful, and the Breakfast was good. But the noise from the pub and the bar across the street was awful. Several times throughout the night we were awoken from drunks walking by the room, being loud, yelling, and loud cars. It is unfortunate because we loved the property. The bar right across the way closes at 2 am and it woke us every night we were there. Also there was no parking at the inn and we were forced to park across the street, with all the noise throughout the night we were worried about the car not being in the inn lot.

Room was exactly what we had hoped and expected, judging by photos. Very pleasant with extra touches. Especially love the robes and slippers. And the French doors to balcony. One drawback for some, no elevator to second level where we stayed.

Phenomenal. Will most certainly return. Small and very inviting. Room was perfect. Bed was incredibly comfortable, the sheets were amazing and the balcony was worth the extra I paid. 5 min walk to the pier and many restaurants and shops. The pub was a happening place but not too loud for those of us who were in the room during the later hours. Breakfast was very good. Nothing incredible but enough choices and the price was right. My wife and I are already planning to return sooner rather than later

The hotel was nicely appointed. Did not realize the pub was open til 2 am. The music was loud until after 11. We were there on the weekend. People were very noisy and on Saturday night a party in one of the rooms went on til 3 am. The staff was notified and they were responsive. Saturday night was quieter. I had to buy ear plugs for the first time and use them to get some sleep. Cannot recommend for a quiet stay.

Check in not so hot but everything else about the property was outstanding. That’s why I stayed another night. Can’t beet location, and no kids. Peace and quiet except for the amazing bands every weekend night. I’ll be back! Penny

Great find! From meeting Laurie at checkin to enjoying the room, pub, breakfast the entire stay was wonderful. Very safe, and quick 5 minute walk to shopping, the pier, beach, visitor center, lighthouse and a lot of restaurants. We like our room 114, spacious 1st floor, no elevators on property. Breakfast was very good with hot egg sandwiches, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, pastries which was included in our daily rate. No kids or pets at this place which made it very quiet. We enjoyed our first time at St. Simon’s Island (SSI) went to the WW II museum and walked east beach. The next day we took drive to Jekyll island, have to pay $10 to enter the island. The island consists mostly of parks, golf, newer shops, not much historic buildings like on SSI. We much preferred how quaint, safe, walkability to everything and quiet island SSI was.

Breakfast coffee machine needs instructions. Desk clerk acted like it was her first day. Toilet/tub area very small. On the plus side, the room was very quiet despite music on both sides of building.

This was the best place to end our vacation! Such a cute well maintained place very clean and with friendly staff! The espresso maker was delicious and the mini bar had something for everyone! Wonderful location leaving you walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the pier!! Highly recommend this place!

Great location walkable to downtown SSI. Adorable English inspired room decor and grounds. Breakfast was excellent...much more than continental. Fairly quiet. Nearby restaurants had live music Fri and Sat nights which you can hear in room. But stopped by 11pm. Note the kidney shaped pool is small and wasnt clean proba ly because it was pre season. The canopy of live oaks make the pool of an atmosphere not really for wading/swimming. Internet was a bit spotty in room.

Phenomenal. Will most certainly return. Small and very inviting. Room was perfect. Bed was incredibly comfortable, the sheets were amazing and the balcony was worth the extra I paid. 5 min walk to the pier and many restaurants and shops. The pub was a happening place but not too loud for those of us who were in the room during the later hours. Breakfast was very good. Nothing incredible but enough choices and the price was right. My wife and I are already planning to return sooner rather than later

Everything was great. Room was very clean and spacious. Had a fun time in the pub. All of the staff were very helpful. Easy parking. There is no restaurant on site but not really an issue as there are options near by, make reservations for the good places. Breakfast is included but is a very light continental. Very good experience and would stay again.

Overall 4 stars. Delightful check-in/out. Beautifully furnished/decorated rooms and well situated for walking around the small town. The room had a remarkably powerful odor which appeared to be covering something up (like damp, maybe) but leaving the balcony door open during the day to air the room out, helped. The breakfast was nice but not replenished. I did not expect to get there at 9.30 with very little left to offer and when I asked, the lady said nothing more would be available. Tough on those who like a late start on holiday. Would stay there again though it's higher than I would normally pay but the bonus of having a pub on site and no children in the pool and common areas was a great attraction clearly to all of those there.

Beautiful boutique hotel. We arrived and had drinks in the pub. Walked to the pier and lighthouse which are only a few blocks from the hotel. Shopped at cute stores located on the same street. The room was small but very comfortable with every amenity available. Beds extremely comfy! Breakfast was plentiful. Great place to stay when visiting St. Simons.

Beautiful room with luxury touches and perfect walkable location to great restaurants and shopping. Room turnover service every day, which is rare since Covid. No elevator, so keep that in mind if you get a 2nd floor room. The continental breakfast reminded me of what you get in Europe--fresh fruit and pastries. In room Nespresso coffee maker sure beats the Keurig-types. I would definitely stay here again.

We liked the central location of this property. It was convenient to the downtown area with restaurants, retail shops and close to the pier. Our room was well-appointed and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the daily activity in the pub and the breakfast service included everything we wanted.

This is a very nice property. With that being said, it was not exactly what we expected. It was more like a Vacation Rental By Owner with a pub than a hotel, having no help with baggage, no carts for baggage, no room service, etc. That being said, if a Vacation Rental By Owner is for what you are looking, this is nice, clean, and quiet; the staff was very friendly and professional. Super clean, friendly and helpful staff, on site pub, great breakfast buffet. Best part were the little things that make you stay count. Chocolates on the bed, notes thaking us for our visit, and a charging station in the room. Well done!
