Majestic Mountain View’s from room and roof top hot top. Room had the best bedding, comfortable, sublime tall shower. Loved our stay. Ride the chairlift in summer to the top of the mountain, bike or hike down, then jump into the pool carved into the rock on the side of the mountain. Perfect day!

Had told management of Humbird multiple times the switch to turn on Jacuzzi was inoperable. 3 days in a row, front desk kept saying they told maintenance and would look at it. No-one ever got back to me that it was not going to be fixed. On the 4th. day a note was posted by Jacuzzi that it was broken. This was the shoulder season and was only one in resort. Poor communiation from staff and lack of customer service.

Well designed hotel with surprisingly nice amenities like the rooftop jacuzzi, game room, and common work space. Gorgeous mountain/forest views from the room and common spaces. Great value during their low season and I’m sure much more fun during winter.

Very nice open space in entrance and individual rooms. Inviting fireplace inside and out! Food was excellent in the Crows Bench Cafe. Hot tub on roof was outstanding!! Views magnificent. Very friendly staff. Loved the location. Quite a shock to come around the last corner of the road! A

The property was quiet. Our only criticism is that all most all of the surrounding businesses were closed. The coffee shop, convenience store and ski lift all closed by 5. We had to drive over 15miles down to Sandpoint to get a meal and 15 miles back. Which was big waste of time. Many of the summer activities in their marketing were closed. Everything appears to geared toward winner activities.

We stayed one night at off season before the lifts opened for mtn biking. Room was very modern, beautiful views, clean, and comfy beds. Dinner at the restaurant was good - nothing to be excited about, but good. Would definitely stay there again. Be aware the price does not include $37 resort fee due at arrival

10/10. This is the place to stay if you are visiting Sandpoint. Outstanding facility. Rooms have everything you could ask for. Watching the sunrise in the morning from bed was beautiful! Loved everything!

Beautiful hotel! For the price, it’s missing a few perks that would make it more comfortable. In the fourth floor rooms, there are massive windows with no shades in the ceiling. Looks cool but not so cool when it wakes your kids up way too early every morning. Also, for a ski resort, there needs to be more hooks in the rooms! There’s one in the bathroom that you can’t use, and some by the door that fall off the wall so not user friendly either. Also, Some cable tv or something would be nice. There was only streaming services to log into.

This hotel falls in the middle exceptional category. It is first class, all the way. Room is amazing, bed is high quality, and so quiet. Can’t find sleep/rest this nice anywhere I’ve stayed. Staff is extremely polite and professional. Absolutely coming back to the Hummbird.

We had a great stay at Humbird. Because the ski season hadn’t started yet it was just pretty quiet around the village. We had dinner at the near by pub and had coffee in the morning at the cafe. All the shops and restaurants are right next to each other. The front desk was so kind and very helpful when we checked in. If you are checking in past 5 you need to go to the front desk across the parking lot because the front desk in humbird closes. Luckily we got there right at 4:55 so we just made it or I would t have known. We used the hot tub which was very special as it is on the roof and looks over a beautiful view of mountains and lakes. It was the perfect get away to escape for the weekend.

Beautiful place to stay even in summer, loved the lift to the top of the mountain. We were able to do some hiking, huckleberry picking and had drinks with gorgeous views.

Great spot, quaint little shops abound. Parking was quite a ways from the door but they do have a parking garage option for extra$$$$. Lots of activities available. Very nice place.

I stayed one night with my two kids, aged 12 and 9. Pros: The place itself was beautiful and clean and all interactions were positive with staff. Cons: the toilet seat lid came off upon first use. The tv didn’t work and there were no manuals for it or anything else for that matter. I never found the ice machine, which we desperately needed since we were not feeling well. I asked the one worker I found and she didn’t know. I feel like the description was misleading because it stated 13 restaurants, but in actuality, there was only one “Crow’s Nest”, which was really expensive and there was no room service. My kids and I were under the weather and were not up to walking so far to order overpriced food that was not good. The kids’ sliders were so hard that they were totally inedible. My kids didn’t eat. The charcuterie board ($35) was unimpressive. My burger had no taste at all. Thankfully, we were given a credit ($50). For a place that has an exceptional rating, I was very disappointed with the lack of resources and food. The place itself was beautiful and very clean and comfortable. If we stayed again, I definitely would’ve brought food for us. There’s nothing more terrible than being stuck on a mountain, sick and hungry.

The room was very clean, but issue with the tv was fixed from staff. The phone was not functioning until fixed by staff. The food at Crows Bench was far less than expected, without flavor, and the salad was over prepared which offset the delightful flavor of the dressing.
