Great location right in the city centre so we could walk everywhere and access the eateries, the shops, the botanic gardens and the public bus direct to the airport. Quiet for a good night's sleep. Wonderful rooftop bar and restaurant.

The hotel itself was pretty new and the room was okay. Checking in was tricky since there is little parking in front and we were surprised to find out that there was no valet. Cars are self parked a block away in a public lot. The rooftop bar/restaurant that they brag about was closed for lunch, dinner and cocktails at night. Only open for breakfast but didn’t have the buffet setup because of lack of demand. We had a morning flight so wanted to have breakfast at 6:45 am but they would not accommodate us. They actually lock out the elevator access until 7:00 am! Although we paid for the bnb package, we left without eating. Location good for restaurant access but I would not stay here again. Too many other better options.

Location was fabulous - handy to everything we needed including the Riverside Market, and shopping. Rooms clean, and bed comfortable. Would have been better if there was parking at the building. Whilst there are 4 10 minute park spaces out front, these were in use when checking in and due to the one way system and not being familiar with the area, was a bit of a hassle. The hotel has an arrangement with the Wilson's Carparking down the road for a reduced parking charge.... per exit.... which can certainly add up.

Great place to stay in central Christchurch. Rooms were spacious and modern. The parking isn’t onsite but very close. The bar and resteraunt on the rooftop over looking cathedral square is amazing! Excellent food and wine service! Will be going back

An excellent new hotel that is well run by very friendly staff, located in the heart of CBD. Parking is in a nice garage one block away and only $10nz each time you exit, but with everything within walking distance it’s a great deal. Highly recommend!

Great hotel in the heart of Christchurch. Had a really new feel to it. Room spotlessly clean , bed comfortable with crisp clean linen. Good size room and bathroom. Shower powerful and hot. Roof top bar looked good but wasn’t open on the nights we stayed unfortunately. (Sun/Mon) Would definitely stay again.

Very clean and comfortable. We stayed a few days. Less than average breakfast buffet. Only a few items that we ok. The restaurant and bar was closed otherwise for our stay. Very clean hotel!! The room, the bathroom impeccable!! Good mattress, new and clean towels!! We wanted to stay there longer but was booked and for good reason!! If you want a good, clean hotel and affordable, central location book this with no hesitation!!!

Had a fantastic stay and cannot fault anything. Probably the cleanest hotel I've stayed in, and very quiet given its busy central location. Firm, comfortable bed, spacious room, great shower. The rooftop bar and restaurant is a lovely space. Warm and friendly staff. Quality fittings - as a single traveller I felt very secure behind that hefty, stylish fire-proof bedroom door!

Personally, we'd probably not stay here again as the parking instructions weren't very clear. The email the hotel sends out is very confusing and is outdated. The front desk has instructions that are clearer that tell you where to park for a reduced cost by parking on X floor and bringing them your ticket (this info is not in the email sent out). Additionally, the benefit of not having any windows in your room also means that you can't hear any road noise, so that was a benefit. However, we've decided that it's probably not for us.

Great little hotel right in the city so we could walk everywhere. It was very quiet being new with black out curtains. The shower pressure was awesome. The breakfast was excellent with good options & friendly service. Good quiet room aircon which was easy to adjust to how we liked it.Our only complaint was the bed was too hard & they kindly put a topper on it which didnt make it much softer. It also had the standard hotel polyester duvee inner which makes me sweat but luckily there was a natural fiber blanket so we could take the polyester off & just use the blanket.

All good, but a bit of a shock to learn that we had booked a room with no windows. Turns out that if you read the fine, fine print, it is disclosed. They offered to upgrade us for $100NZD. No thank you. The room was clean and quiet - no complaints.

The one star rating is actually for the person who booked the room(myself😩). The lady (in training) at the front desk was really great, she did everything she could to accommodate our requests. UNFORTUNATELY, the room does not have a window, it is clearly stated in the booking section, but …I did not notice this detail when I selected the room. It is all on me, my only unhappiness is the fact the hotel is offering this room with no window. Certainly it should be a storage. Otherwise, the room size, cleanliness, bed quality, all are great.

First of all, the hotel looks nice from the front, is well positioned in the city centre, clean and modern. Our room however, at the rear, looked out on a city garbage collection area, with a car park above it and then an office block above that. We stayed for 4 nights and couldn’t open our curtains. The noise from the garbage dump started at c5am disturbing our sleep. We asked to change rooms to the front of the hotel but the trainee responsible for reception when we arrived wasn’t empowered to arrange that for us. I believe had we been allocated a front room, our review would have been very different as there was much to like. Christchurch is a wonderful city.

It was convenient, central, and close to shops and dining places. Overall it was great. I just did not like that I was charged twice for the service. One day after checking out, the lady at the front desk noticed and let me know and then I got refunded. It is no major thing as I got my money back but this seems to be a common issue where staff are not aware that the accommodation is already paid

An excellent location, right in the heart. The only negative is that the property is very austere in its design and decoration. Isla in the restaurant at breakfast was excellent.

We were travelling the next morning on the intercity bus so this hotel was very convenient. A short walk with luggage to the bus stop. The only disappointment was the service in the rooftop cafe in the morning. We had a tight timeline for the bus the next morning so we had to leave without coffee because she didn’t want to serve us till she had washed all the tables-not cool!

Location was very good. Front desk isnt staffed 24hours but they have a number for you to call. Rooms are a little tight but expected for a downtown location. Price was competitive as well.

Would have liked to have tried the Bar - Open - but didn't realise it was closed Sundays and Mondays and we were busy Saturday. Lovely room with a view towards the Cathedral and the Spark Building. The room was spacious and had all that we needed. My only concern is the 2 homeless people that slept outside the entrance to the Hotel all weekend. They didn't cause any bother that I saw but very off putting. The receptionist said the Police keep an eye on them but they never moved. Thanks to the Hotel for giving us a late checkout on our last morning. Much appreciated.

The room was spacious and had all that we needed. My only concern is the 2 homeless people that slept outside the entrance to the Hotel all weekend. They didn't cause any bother that I saw but very off putting. The receptionist said the Police keep an eye on them but they never moved. Thanks to the Hotel for giving us a late checkout on our last morning. Much appreciated.

First of all, the hotel looks nice from the front, is well positioned in the city centre, clean and modern. Our room however, at the rear, looked out on a city garbage collection area, with a car park above it and then an office block above that. We stayed for 4 nights and couldn’t open our curtains. The noise from the garbage dump started at c5am disturbing our sleep. We asked to change rooms to the front of the hotel but the trainee responsible for reception when we arrived wasn’t empowered to arrange that for us. I believe had we been allocated a front room, our review would have been very different as there was much to like. Christchurch is a wonderful city.

The hotel facilities are good and Christchurch is a beautiful city. However, I was turned off that there was a drunk homeless man sleeping on the ground right next to the from door and several other homeless people mulling around the streets. This is not necessarily the fault of the hotel (though could’ve forced them to leave). The worker at the desk said “they don’t hurt anyone just will ask for change”. This is an unacceptable attitude. I don’t book a hotel to walk by homeless addicts to get to my room. An ambulance was called because the guy was not around able. As a physician, I stopped to help and spoke with the man. He was in no distress, but was drunk and sleeping it off. Even others in the area who stopped said he was an a@@hole and left him alone. One should not have that experience when staying at a hotel. Christchurch and this hotel seriously need to address this problem because it is a blight on otherwise beautiful city. Also, parking/unloading is horrendous. There are perhaps there small spaces to unload and they are taken by cars that park for far too long. Had to drive around block 4 times until could find a place to unload and check in. Then have to purchase parking pass for secure garage. Although the hotel was nice, these two features would prevent me from staying there again.

The hotel itself was pretty new and the room was okay. Checking in was tricky since there is little parking in front and we were surprised to find out that there was no valet. Cars are self parked a block away in a public lot. The rooftop bar/restaurant that they brag about was closed for lunch, dinner and cocktails at night. Only open for breakfast but didn’t have the buffet setup because of lack of demand. We had a morning flight so wanted to have breakfast at 6:45 am but they would not accommodate us. They actually lock out the elevator access until 7:00 am! Although we paid for the bnb package, we left without eating. Location good for restaurant access but I would not stay here again. Too many other better options.

Location of CCH was absolutely perfect, right on Cathedral Square in the centre of town. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, shopping and the tram right on the doorstep. Unfortunately no breakfast available currently but we were offered voucher for breakfast at Ibis around the corner. Very big room overlooking the Cathedral. Had a nice time in the rooftop bar for sunset drinks

We were travelling the next morning on the intercity bus so this hotel was very convenient. A short walk with luggage to the bus stop. The only disappointment was the service in the rooftop cafe in the morning. We had a tight timeline for the bus the next morning so we had to leave without coffee because she didn’t want to serve us till she had washed all the tables-not cool!

Great place to stay in central Christchurch. Rooms were spacious and modern. The parking isn’t onsite but very close. The bar and resteraunt on the rooftop over looking cathedral square is amazing! Excellent food and wine service! Will be going back

Very clean and comfortable. We stayed a few days. Less than average breakfast buffet. Only a few items that we ok. The restaurant and bar was closed otherwise for our stay. Great hotel in the heart of Christchurch. Had a really new feel to it. Room spotlessly clean , bed comfortable with crisp clean linen. Good size room and bathroom. Shower powerful and hot. Roof top bar looked good but wasn’t open on the nights we stayed unfortunately. (Sun/Mon) Would definitely stay again.
