Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful including the cleaning lady who tidied the room daily. I appreciated the comfortable bed, large balcony and mini fridge. I enjoyed the traditional greek style breakfast, but it was pretty basic. There is a functional elevator for the building. We never heard our neighbors in adjacent rooms but we could hear noise from outside. There was some construction when we first arrived but luckily it only lasted for 2 days. If you stay in the room above the dining area, be prepared to smell burning toast or cigarette smoke. We walked a good 35-40 min every day to get to the main attractions. There is a metro station nearby, but we only used it to get to and from the airport which was really easy to use. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood and a grocery store around the corner. The sidewalks in the area are challenging. They are often narrow and blocked off by construction, trees or cars. So we often walked on the street as long as there weren't any cars on the road.

Die Innenstadt ist fussläufig erreichbar. Das Hotel ist hipp und zeitgemäß eingerichtet. Kurzer Hand verwandelt sich die Rezeption in der Früh zum Frühstücksraum. Im überdachten Vorplatz kann man im freien Ftühstücken. Viele Leckereien und hervorragende Eierspeisen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen. Danke an das gesamte Team.

We loved the Loom! Very cool aesthetic here with a lot of thought going into the design. Wonderful customer service from front desk--friendly and helpful. Great breakfast on lovely patio. Our Garden Loft room was cool and clean. Great garden patio. A couple things would make it excellent: hooks in bathroom for towels (we had to hang ours on railing), some kind of small downlight/nightlight on stairs since you have to walk downstairs in dark to use bathroom at night. We love Kerameikos neighborhood too..more local and cool. Easy walk to centre or metro.

Hôtel bien situé car proche mais pas trop de l'hyper centre. Calme et offrant une expérience plus proche d'un quartier populaire d'Athènes. Les services et restaurants alentours sont suffisants et accueillants. Il faut toutefois ne pas être dérangé par un peu de marche pour se rendre dans les quartiers de plus touristiques. L'hôtel est très confortable et bien dans l'ambiance Grecque. Le petit déjeuner est à mon sens copieu et pour tout les goûts. Les parties communes peuvent être entendu depuis les chambres, mais l'ensemble des résidents étaient très discrets et respectueux. L'accueil à la réception est impeccable, on y est prêt à vous aider en toute circonstance. Le stationnement se cantone à une place de parking dans la rue, mais personne n'avait de voiture, inutile si vous restez à Athènes ou ses alentours.

The Loom is a tiny, boutique hotel in a fairly convenient location. The local neighborhood could use a little work, but we never felt unsafe walking to local attractions. The hotel is spotless, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the room is truly unique - see the online photos for details. It is a really friendly and comfortable place to stay.

This is a hidden gem near by city center of Athens, Katerina and her co workers are working hard to be sure that guests receive the best services possible. Room was clean, daily housekeeping was great and 24 hours concierge was always ready to assist us with anything. Breakfast was tasty, fresh with many varieties for different dietary. We wish to stay in this place again if have a chance to visit beautiful Greece again.

This was a lovely hotel to stay at, it’s close proximity to everything on foot and as the area is somewhat flat you don’t have to worry about how to get around. The hotel staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The beds are excellent and had great quality bedding. The area around the hotel is a little sketchy but as a woman travelling alone it wasn’t as bad as it looked. There’s a gorgeous bakery, bar and seafood restaurant around the corner which is affordable and quite tasty. The breakfast was okay, fresh fruit, bread, salad, cereals and spreads. However no alternative to milk and they don’t actually have room service. The tea options in the room is herbal tea which is not my kind of tea but the lock in the room was big enough for my 16inch laptop and the bathroom amenities were really quite nice. The room had some marks on the walls and sofa so it did seem a bit sad, the desk didn’t come with a chair so I never used it but the bathroom was incredible (rainfall shower, nice design) and the balcony was wide. They had a lift in the building which was very convenient. However there was no hotel instructions card (how to use the phone to call reception, how to turn on the aircon) so I had to go down to reception for help. On the day I was leaving they provided me with a breakfast box as I would miss the free breakfast which was very kind but I couldn’t eat it as it contained eggs and I am quite allergic. I would definitely consider staying again despite some of these points.

Such a wonderful experience! The staff is great, the hotel beautiful and calm. It has a 24h reception, which makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back again.

We loved everything about the place except the issue with the shower that backed up and leaked water everywhere. It prevented me from taking a shower that evening and they needed to come in and mop it up but it was late. The staff was great and took care of in the morning and was very apologetic.

The hotel's rooms are impeccably clean, and the reception team is exceptionally accommodating. Surprisingly, the hotel has an elevator, even though it wasn't mentioned in the advertisement. However, there were significant issues with the bathroom in my room, located on the first floor. While taking a shower, water streamed into the room and even reached the hotel's reception area. Despite my efforts to block the water flow with towels and sandals, it was challenging to contain. Moreover, the housekeeping staff did not maintain regular room cleaning, necessitating repeated requests for cleaning and fresh towels. The coffee served at the breakfast buffet has an overpowering bitterness that persists despite adding milk and sugar. Additionally, I would suggest that the hotel consider supplying a greater quantity of coffee cartridges for the rooms on a daily basis. I found myself requesting more each day, and it would be beneficial if these cartridges were clearly labeled in English for guest convenience.

Lovely little hotel in the middle of a residential area of Athens. Lots of little places to eat in the surrounding area and only 20 minute walk to key historic sites. Actual hotel room itself was clean and modern design. Staff were lovely and continental breakfast was delicious.

This was our first time in Athens and we really loved the area! The hotel is really well located and within walking distance of many great restaurants, historical sites and museums. We had a balcony suite which was roomy and comfortable. Only down side was the earthquake light and AC monitor were located in the bedroom and couldn’t be dimmed so we had to use a towel to cover some of the light.

We were really pleased with our stay at Loom Athens. The staff were super accommodating. The our top floor room was comfortable, quiet, and spacious. The bed was really comfortable! And the complimentary breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend to friends, and will be staying again on our next visit.

Fantastic boutique hotel with spacious, clean and stylish rooms. I booked Loom as I wanted to be close to the main sights but a little out of the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The location ended up being great, very walkable and a few nice local bars and eateries close to the hotel, plus a supermarket on the next street. The hotel is gorgeous, probably one of the coolest designed hotels I've ever stayed in. The room and balcony was spacious with a massive bed and we particularly noted the attention to detail with lots of lighting options and thick blackout curtains for when you want no light at all. The shower had great water pressure and lovely Korres toiletries. Breakfasts were included and absolutely delicious. You eat at a small outdoor sheltered terrace, and food is made fresh each day with local ingredients. Loved the freshly cooked eggs with feta, the thick greek yoghurt and the greek salad jars especially. From the moment we arrived to when we left, the staff at reception were super friendly and helpful, and really made our stay that much better. I would highly, highly recommend Loom and it would be my first choice of hotel next time I'm in Athens!

L'hôtel est très beau et situé dans un quartier agréable. Le personnel est très disponible et sympathique. Les chambres sont spacieuses propres et décorées avec beaucoup de goût, cependant, certaines peuvent être un peu bruyantes. Le rapport qualité/prix semble très bon.

This is a modern and new hotel. Spacious room (living room down and bedroom up). Very quiet. The balcony was in the patio between the buildings, not really beautiful but this is something common in Athens, it was too hot anyway outside… the breakfast is good with fruit and greek yogurt and they prepare eggs. The direct neighbourhood is not really nice in some streets while other streets are good with bars and restaurants. Supermarket is on the corner. The close by Restaurant Egg of the Rooster is nice for dinner! To the center of Athens is about a 20 min walk. To the metro Kerameicos about 10 min walk.

This cosy and tucked-away hotel has a lot of character and beautifully styled, well-equipped rooms. While it’s not located right in the city centre, the walk to the main attractions is pleasant and absolutely manageable. We had a lovely stay at Loom Athens. The room was bright, spacious, modern and very clean. Great shower and very comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I would definitely stay there again.

This was a lovely hotel to stay at, it’s close proximity to everything on foot and as the area is somewhat flat you don’t have to worry about how to get around. The hotel staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The beds are excellent and had great quality bedding. The area around the hotel is a little sketchy but as a woman travelling alone it wasn’t as bad as it looked. There’s a gorgeous bakery, bar and seafood restaurant around the corner which is affordable and quite tasty. The breakfast was okay, fresh fruit, bread, salad, cereals and spreads. However no alternative to milk and they don’t actually have room service. The tea options in the room is herbal tea which is not my kind of tea but the lock in the room was big enough for my 16inch laptop and the bathroom amenities were really quite nice. The room had some marks on the walls and sofa so it did seem a bit sad, the desk didn’t come with a chair so I never used it but the bathroom was incredible (rainfall shower, nice design) and the balcony was wide. They had a lift in the building which was very convenient. However there was no hotel instructions card (how to use the phone to call reception, how to turn on the aircon) so I had to go down to reception for help. On the day I was leaving they provided me with a breakfast box as I would miss the free breakfast which was very kind but I couldn’t eat it as it contained eggs and I am quite allergic. I would definitely consider staying again despite some of these points.

Loom Athens was phenomenal!! They worked with me from well before I arrived with any questions that I had and booking me a driver from the airport to the hotel, to helping me with any and every question I had no matter the time of day or night. We had a floor level room that was super spacious and even being right next to the front desk, we never heard what was going on out there because that’s how good the soundproofing was! Clean rooms with cleaning services provided everyday! A complimentary breakfast that gives you a great taste of the local cuisines! And staff that will help you navigate the city and best spots for eating, shopping, day-tours, etc.! And nothing more than a 10 minute car ride to the main attractions and local ports!! My partner and I had an unforgettable time in Athens and because we were celebrating her birthday, Loom Athens provided us with a special gift to congratulate her! This is this is the kind of care you can expect with them and I highly recommend them if you visit Athens! We certainly will be back to stay with them on our next visit ;)

The staff at LOOM Athens went above and beyond to make our stay positive and memorable. Before we even arrived in Athens, they were quick to respond to questions via e-mail and helpful with arranging transportation. When we arrived quite early, we were greeted warmly and made to feel at home while we waited for our room to be ready. Throughout our stay the staff were friendly and helpful, offering excellent recommendations for restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and impressed by how well the space was utilized. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, but it is still within walking distance of the major tourist spots. The daily breakfast was fabulous. There was a small range of tasty treats that varied from morning to morning, along with a selection of yogurt, granola/cereal, bread, honey, fruit preserves, cheese, hard boiled eggs, and cold cut meats. The staff made fresh egg dishes, preparing some of the best scrambled eggs we have ever had. We appreciated the fresh filtered coffee and fresh orange juice, as well. We will absolutely look to LOOM again during our next visit to Athens.

Really good breakfast buffet. 8 minute walk to metro station where it’s very easy to connect to Sytagma, Piraeus and the airport. Although pavements in the area are quite uneven, so extra care is needed walking. Some fantastic restaurants nearby. Would *highly recommend* Loom hotel.

This is a modern and new hotel. Spacious room (living room down and bedroom up). Very quiet. The balcony was in the patio between the buildings, not really beautiful but this is something common in Athens, it was too hot anyway outside… the breakfast is good with fruit and greek yogurt and they prepare eggs. The direct neighbourhood is not really nice in some streets while other streets are good with bars and restaurants. Supermarket is on the corner. The close by Restaurant Egg of the Rooster is nice for dinner! To the center of Athens is about a 20 min walk. To the metro Kerameicos about 10 min walk.

The Loom is a tiny, boutique hotel in a fairly convenient location. The local neighborhood could use a little work, but we never felt unsafe walking to local attractions. Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful including the cleaning lady who tidied the room daily. I appreciated the comfortable bed, large balcony and mini fridge. I enjoyed the traditional greek style breakfast, but it was pretty basic. There is a functional elevator for the building. We never heard our neighbors in adjacent rooms but we could hear noise from outside. There was some construction when we first arrived but luckily it only lasted for 2 days. If you stay in the room above the dining area, be prepared to smell burning toast or cigarette smoke. We walked a good 35-40 min every day to get to the main attractions. There is a metro station nearby, but we only used it to get to and from the airport which was really easy to use. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood and a grocery store around the corner. The sidewalks in the area are challenging. They are often narrow and blocked off by construction, trees or cars. So we often walked on the street as long as there weren't any cars on the road.

Les chambres sont grandes et assez spacieuses. Le ménage est fait correctement. Trop de bruits. Aucun double vitrage. Si vous souhaitez vous reposer, c’est impossible car vous entendez tout y compris des chats qui miaulent. Certains clients ne se gênent pas pour parler tard le soir dans les étages. Pas de fruits, pas de chocolat chaud (une première pour moi) On m’a demandé sans raison juste avant que j’aille visiter la ville, la date de mon départ alors qu’il était bien écrit que je partais le 5 mars ce que j’ai trouvé très mal venu, comme si ma présence gênait. Si la tête de certains clients ne vous revient pas, n’ouvrez pas d’hôtel.

This is one of the coolest hotels we have stayed at! The vibes are immaculate, the room was clean, and everyone that worked there was kind. The breakfast was awesome each morning-a nice spread plus eggs to order any way we wanted. The women working there gave us ample recommendations for things to do and places to see. The hotel is just a short walk to the train stations, and just about a 30 minute walk to all of the best city attractions. This hotel is clearly well managed and well staffed-we couldn’t speak more highly of it! Thank you!

This is a hidden gem near by city center of Athens, Katerina and her co workers are working hard to be sure that guests receive the best services possible. This is a hidden gem near by city center of Athens, Katerina and her co workers are working hard to be sure that guests receive the best services possible. I knew this was a budget hotel and adjusted my expectations accordingly, but even considering that, the experience was disappointing. I requested a street-facing room when booking but was assigned a small room overlooking a noisy, dusty construction site. The room also appeared significantly smaller than the one shown in the hotel’s website photos, which I found misleading. Communication before arrival was unnecessarily repetitive, with staff repeatedly requesting information I had already provided. As an Expedia Gold member, my booking included a complimentary upgrade subject to availability. Higher-category rooms were available on several booking platforms, yet management insisted there was no availability. I took screenshots and will be raising this with Expedia, as it appears inconsistent with the advertised VIP Access benefits. The room was not properly cleaned, with long hairs present throughout, including on the bed. The mattress topper was worn out and uncomfortable, and I woke up with back pain. During my stay, housekeeping did not clean the room, empty the rubbish bin, or replace the towels. Breakfast consisted mainly of inexpensive pre-packaged items and offered very limited choice. After the first morning, I preferred to have breakfast elsewhere. Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again or recommend it.

Things have changed since I last stayed here. The wonderful staff who used to be at the front desk are gone. Functionally there is no front desk staff any more. You let yourself in with a code and retrieve your room keys from a lock box. All communication with the hotel is by email. You will receive emails that verge on harassing until you provide your passport details before arrival. I woke up to a message the morning after my arrival asking what time I was going to check out -- even though I wasn't checking out that day. This used to be my favorite hotel in Athens but after this stay I cancelled my next booking for later this month. It now lacks any sense of Greek hospitality. And it seems that while it is contributing to the gentrification of the neighborhood it is no longer providing front of house employment to people who live in the neighborhood. And the labour that those people used to do is now being off loaded on to guests.
