The staff in the reception were very helpful and serviceminded. BUT - the bartender was nothing but a disaster. When we tried to buy a drink from the bar he denied us because he had already closed the cash register. At the same time he sat and drank beer with friends at the counter. When we came back 1 hour later he still sat there with his friends with freshly poured beers but he couldn´t serve us. Perhaps time for the boss to have a one-on-one meeting?

Fint hotel til transit gennem Schiphol. Ingen shuttle bus, men det er faktisk nemmere at tage den offentlige bus 2 min fra hotellet. Den kører via en særlig busbane til lufthavnen på 5 min, og går hele døgnet. Hvis man ikke er et par skal det nævnes at værelset har de der meget lidt private toiletter, hvor man kan høre alt hvad der foregår..

Hotel liegt direkt am Flughafen und ist sehr gut mit den Bus (2. Stationen) zu erreichen. In der Innenstadt braucht man nochmal 15 Minuten mit der Bahn. Das Hotel sieht von innen sehr überragend aus, es gibt eine Bar, Mini-Kühlschrank für kleine Snacks und Getränke zu erwerben, das Frühstück bietet eine reichhaltige Wahl wie Pancakes und für Soja-Freunde gibt’s sogar einen speziellen Getränkeautomaten. Das Zimmer hat bequeme Betten. Auch die Mitarbeiter sind im Hotel recht freundlich. Das Hotel ist sehr umweltfreundlich! Wenn ich wieder in Amsterdam sein sollte, steht das Hotel auf meiner Liste. Die paar Minuten vom Amsterdam Central bis zur Haltestelle gehen schnell vorbei.

Snyggt och fräscht i rummet och allmänt. Riktigt skön säng och nice med smart-tv att enkelt kunna kolla på Netflix. Trevlig personal, enkelt att checka in och ut. Professionell service i baren. Toppen med garage för bilen. Kunde inte haft en bättre upplevelse, bor gärna där igen.

We stayed one night to bring a family member to the airport in the early morning. Room was excellent, bed also. Free parking outside, which we appreciated. The only negative point was that our pass (for getting through doors and using the elevator) stopped working exactly at 11:00h in the morning (check-out time). We were walking to the reception and couldn't pass doors anymore. This was rather bizarre in our experience and not client-friendly at all. Hope this will be changed immediately to allow guests to move through the building at least some more time! (we did mention it at the Reception).

Stayed at the Florian a few times through choice as it’s a fun hotel to stop over at. Super friendly Edgar checked me in this time so kudos to you my friend. The gym is pretty good too. As a regular gym goer I’d give it an 8 out of 10.

We had a good stay for 5 days, everything is good but lights in the room are very dim would be great if you can adjust the intensity of the light, the ceiling of our room is unfinished so it does take away the aesthetic of the room once you lay down and all you can see is the ceiling (i don't know if it's just our room that has unfinished ceiling), very few accommodations, no mini fridge, no iron/steamer for clothes, no shampoo (only body wash), there's an option to get your towels changed that you can hang in your door knob outside if you want them changed but when we did it our towels weren't changed (told us to put our towels on the floor if we want it to be changed) so yeah we stayed for 5 days with the same towels, they also don't do cleanings every day plus the first 3 days of our stay our aircon was turned off (we noticed it turns off or not working after 12 am) so we were sweating in our sleep for 3 nights as the beddings were very thick. It is very close to a bus station which is great if you plan to travel a lot, overall the design and aesthetic of the whole hotel is great but more improvements could be made.

When we asked about breakfast that was offered the morning clerk just advised there was no breakfast voucher, but didn’t even bother asking why this was offered and what the issue was. Additionally we found garbage under the bed.

Very clean and well kept. Had a twin room with a friend. The toilet and shower are more suited to a couple as the glass divider between the room is almost see through. Having the basin in the room was a bit strange but not a problem. Only negative was outside of breakfast and dinner there is no option to order food. You can order food to the hotel from JustEat. Good stay.

Location good if you need access to Schiphol. Quick bus back and forth. Price was affordable. The layout of the room is somewhat questionable. Glass door to toilet (and absolutely no soundproofing). Glass door to shower. Glass wall between shower and bedroom. ??? So I’m not supposed to want privacy of any kind? Good luck if you share that room with anyone but your partner. Our room had a window to the inner courtyard so we could not have the blinds open or anyone walking by our room could see into our shower. So our room was always dark and the lighting was terrible. Track lighting is never good.

The room was nice, a bit small. The only issue is that the shower is not separate from the bedroom and the "separation" is an almost see-through glass and an almost see-through curtain. Also, there is no light only for the sink area, which means that I had to turn on the entire bedroom light and wake up my niece for me to shower and use the sink.

Vårt rum var inte redo vid incheckningstiden och det var dålig information om när vårt rum skulle vara klart. Vi fick inte tillgång till rummet förrän senare på kvällen när vi hade kommit tillbaka från Amsterdam. Förutom detta var personalen trevlig och hotellet var fräscht. Vi var helt ok nöjda.

Friendly and welcoming staff with an easy check-in process. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, which made for a nice first impression. I loved the blackout curtains — perfect for sleeping in. The shower had great water pressure and temperature, which was a plus. The location was very convenient, close to the bus station with direct service to the airport. However, the air conditioning didn’t work properly, making the room uncomfortably warm at night. The staff did bring a fan to help, which I appreciated, but it only partially solved the issue. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few drawbacks.

Bon séjour à l'hôtel Florian, lieu agréable et sympa, les chambres sont spacieuses et la décoration est chaleureuse. Seul bémol un petit peu loin du centre ville d'Amsterdam mais en revanche très proche de l'aéroport (deux arrêts de bus).

Way to modern with lighting that is useless and very poorly designed and decorated. No shuttle service and ensure the road construction is completed. This caused a lot of problems for Uber transportation. With no dining options near by the restaurant hours were poor at best.

I am a women and travelled alone, but being a singer a room on the ground floor where I could hear and see men smoking, smoking drinking beer around picnic table placed outside right next to the room window, and wished I was on the 1st floor. Pillows were smelly and couldn’t sleep well try not to think about it. As clean sheets and pillow cases were changed everyday, so I think it was pillow itself need to be checked. The last complain was traffic route to reach the hotel for a foreign driver. But this is something hotel can’t help, and I got used to it from the 2nd day. Having said above, it is a great and reasonable hotel in this time of high pricing. Food quality and breakfast is excellent, nice young atmosphere. I visit Netherlands once or twice a year for business. I stayed neighbouring hotel without catering facilities last year, and used to have dinner with Florian across the road every night last year, and decided to stay in the Florian this year. I think I will continue to use the Florian, as I know how to drive and reach now.
