Overall, we were very happy with the hotel. We had two small issues - We arrived at 5pm and had to wait over 40 minutes for our room to be ready, which was frustrating given check in starts at 3pm and the kids were tired from travelling. The only other negative was waiting on elevators, which is not solely a Hyatt Place issue. During this trip, we twice had to wait for several elevators to come and go before we could get on one to go down to the lobby because they were at capacity before they got to our mid-level floor, but other times of day we could get on to the first one that arrived. Try to avoid the busiest times, I suppose or expect to wait a little. Other than those two hiccups, our stay was great. The proximity to Berri-UQAM made using the metro to get around very easy and more than made up for any minor inconveniences like having to wait for an elevator or check in. Rue St Denis had plenty of dinner options (thought we went elsewhere by metro during our stay as well). Our youngest kid really liked the pool, and we found the beds comfortable and the staff pleasant and professional. We would stay here again!
