The dog park bags were gone and the trash was over the sides of the can. The pet fee was $125 so we certainly should have had those filled. Not really a pet fee; more of a pet robbery. My fault for not asking but that was shocking. The hair conditioner was out, we got 1 towel apiece and the charging port didn’t work. Far from restaurants. Never again

The property is well kept, and the Customer Services from the Front Desk to the House keeping department WAS GREAT, my family and I will be back. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of available trash bens around the property.

When we entered our room, there were used towels hanging on a hook in the bathroom. The king bed mattress had two depressions, one on each side of the bed. Was in my opinion worn out and impossible to sleep on comfortably. The shower head was frozen in place and couldn’t be adjusted. Carpet had a chemical smell. Would not stay there again and disappointed in Marriott Bonvoy! Expected more.

Staff was very friendly and responsive to issues however they were unable to address all issues. I will not be staying at this property again. Both the mattress on the bed and the pull-out couch were worn badly. Linens for pull-out bed were stored in a plastic pouch and were previously put away damp and thus covered in mold upon opening. Bathroom constantly had a sewage odor. Asked to have room changed, but was told they couldn't do anything as they were at full occupancy. Last straw was the fire alarm going off at 9am on or last day.

Overall the stay was great. Room and bathroom could have been cleaned better. There was a dead roach in the bathroom, hair in the tub and sink and some strands of hair on the “clean” pillows.

We encountered serious issues during our stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Deerfield Beach Boca Raton. The most significant problem was the unannounced testing of fire alarm systems. A horrifying noise jolted us awake in our room, causing our 3.5-year-old daughter to cry from fear. Upon calling the reception to inquire about the situation, they casually mentioned they were testing the alarm. Another notable problem was the cleanliness of the hotel. We were informed that cleaning would be done every two days, however, our room was not satisfactorily cleaned during this interval. The room remained unswept, and the only noticeable change was the replacement of the bathroom towels. The staff was generally unwelcoming and rarely smiled, making it intimidating to establish any form of communication. To summarize, our four-day stay regrettably turned into a nightmare. I certainly do not plan on staying here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

I arrived early and it was not a problem to check in. The room was clean and cozy. Asked for extra towels with no problem. Breakfast was a hit with, bacon, sausage, omelets, juice, coffee, tea and you can make your own waffles. There are local restaurants nearby and 15 minutes away from the beach. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and never disappointed. Thanks again Marriott, see you soon!

First day of breakfast I was impressed with the variety and the area was kept very cleaned. Nevertheless, on the following days it was not the same and areas were not kept cleaned (floor was dirty and trash can was full). The breakfast time period seems not to be clear to all employees, as food removal and juice machines were turned off previous to the end time (it was confusing). Overall was good. The AC of the room was leaking and needed to be repaired as the carpet was completely wet. This was attended in a timely manner. In this same topic, we set up the AC unit to be on and it continuously turned off making the room to get hot, like AUTO setting. People from the counter and room service were very polite, friendly and attentive. Pillows need to be replaced or upgraded; those were really uncomfortable to sleep with. Access to I95 was great and very well located near beach area.

Room was nice except the TV keep having issues. The WiFi/streaming kept going off and on which was very irritating. The staff came up and advised it was an issue and advised they would get it resolved. It wasn’t by the time I went to sleep.

I spent 3 days at this hotel. The internet would not work. I complained a few times but no one could be bothered to fix it. TV's are supposed to have internet access for Netflix and other online services, but they did not work and no one at the hotel fixed it. If this is important to you, you should stay somewhere else!

Had a problem with the air conditioner leaking and then making loud noises. They did address it but sadly the room smelled bad like wet carpet smell so we wanted to switch to another room the same size but there wasn’t any - we settled for a smaller room - it was a big inconvenience. It happens - I felt they should have given us two new rooms to accommodate the problem with the amount of people we had because we needed the suite.

I was greeted by Julie who was amazing! She answered any questions we had and has a great personality. Miss Lisa was amazing! She was super friendly and suggested the Sawgrass Mill for fun shopping and we had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. Our room was neat and clean. Breakfast got a thumbs up approval from my daughter. I will be staying here again.

Customer service from the first encounter. My husband and i walked up and told the gal at the front desk that we were picking up room keys and gave my ID. She was unpleasant, rude by just staring. Next room did not get cleaned after we went out for the entire day, no toothpaste and when returned at 10:30 at night we had to call front desk for towels. We refused to even go to breakfast on both days,,we went out and grab somethings on the road. Poor customer service but it was from the gal on our first arrival. We will not be returning for these reasons.

We arrived on a Friday, late evening and discovered our toilet did not flush. We notified the front desk and she tried to rectify but was not successful, said that someone would be over the next morning but that never happened. Spoke to another front desk clerk, was told they do not have maintenance on the weekends to take care of the problem so we asked for a different room but were told they were sold out. We contacted Marriott customer service Saturday evening and a ticket was created but again, nothing was done about the toilet issue. Finally Monday, we called the front desk again and were finally moved to another room for our last night. For 3 of our 4 day stay, we had to leave our room to use the public bathroom down the hall. Very disappointed that the front desk only offered points towards another night stay which at this point, we would not even feel comfortable going back to this location.

We notified the front desk and she tried to rectify but was not successful, said that someone would be over the next morning but that never happened. Spoke to another front desk clerk, was told they do not have maintenance on the weekends to take care of the problem so we asked for a different room but were told they were sold out. We contacted Marriott customer service Saturday evening and a ticket was created but again, nothing was done about the toilet issue. Finally Monday, we called the front desk again and were finally moved to another room for our last night. For 3 of our 4 day stay, we had to leave our room to use the public bathroom down the hall. Very disappointed that the front desk only offered points towards another night stay which at this point, we would not even feel comfortable going back to this location.

TV's are supposed to have internet access for Netflix and other online services, but they did not work and no one at the hotel fixed it. If this is important to you, you should stay somewhere else!

Extremely rude managers on duty. The lady did not want to come out of her office and speak to the guest who requested refund of one night only due to hurricane issues. She pretended to be on the phone and made front desk employee let us know she is not willing to issue a refund. I understand managers are not supposed to speak to each guest, but just how unprofessional her behavior was completely shocked me. We stayed 2 nights and third night we had to cancel, at 2:30pm, was not even that late. She didn’t want to help at all. I even offered to deduct late check out fee and refund the rest. Also, when we checked in, the room was dirty, they had to send his keeping to vacuum the hairs, Al clean the bathroom floors, etc. we did not complain or requested anything. I don’t want to think that is the policy of Marriott. To be so unprofessional for 1 night refund under hurricane times. Ridiculous!

I arrived early and it was not a problem to check in. The room was clean and cozy. Asked for extra towels with no problem. Breakfast was a hit with, bacon, sausage, omelets, juice, coffee, tea and you can make your own waffles. There are local restaurants nearby and 15 minutes away from the beach. It’s our second stay at the hotel in a month. Definitely, we will consider it for our next local trips. The only thing that can be improved is breakfast. My son ate an expired yogurt. We only paid attention to the date after he ate it. A hotel full of kids serves expired yogurt? Makes you wonder what else was expired. The lady at the breakfast area was kind of mean. No trash cans around. You have to ask for them, so you can’t even clean after yourself.

Only 1 staff member available for check ins. On first day, Breakfast items were not replenished on a timely basis and there were no eggs and no coffee for at least 15 minutes. Had to track down employee to point out that they ran out. On day 2 of my stay coffee not hot- just lukewarm. Pillows on bed flattened into pancakes when lain on. Had to stack 4 pillows just to feel like I was sleeping on 1 pillow. For the price I paid, there are better hotels with more competent service and breakfasts.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like is that breakfast is served from 7am to 9:30am and when we went down to have breakfast it was 9:10am they were already taking everything away and we couldn't have our breakfast, I was disappointed with that. My family and I stay in Deerfield Fairfield Inn for a weekend and we had a great experience. Since the moment we walk inside the hotel it feels pleasant. The hotel smells good, very modern decoration, and everything looks very clean. Also the room was nice with enough amount of towels and comfortable beds. We loved the fact that the location of the hotel was so closed to all the places we want to go, including the Deerfield beach and restaurants nearby. In addition, the hot breakfast was really good with plenty of options for everyone. We had a great experience in this hotel and highly recommended.

The beds were terrible…. breakfast area too busy for 2 young people to handle and no one from staff seemed to help or come to aid. Plus buffet was poor quality. Felt terrible for the young employs who were stuck trying their best. Said something to front desk who was only watching TV.

Nevertheless, on the following days it was not the same and areas were not kept cleaned (floor was dirty and trash can was full).
