Wyndham Palm Aire Resort condo(2 bedroom 2 bath)

NOT THE OWNER'S FAULT.*****Wyndham moved us to a separate building (Fountain) from where the requested unit was located --- The elevators did not work (we had ninth floor) and the carpet was dirty. Pool/Hot tub was clean though a PITA to access w/o elevators.Bar often wanted to add 15% service charge to simple drink orders. *****HOWEVER....The VRBO reservation experience with the owner was excellent. Great communication. I would totally rent from them again, but would seek a different property location.

The pools were clean and warm ! Hot tub could be ready for makeover! Food at the splash little food place was good but very irregular hours! Couldn’t rely on when it would be open, maybe due to lack of staff! Staff are friendly ! One Elevator was out for three days, fixed only to break down 2 wks later, was only out 1 day ! Lots of cut backs due to staffing shortages! Our room was clean but had to call for plugged drain and running toilet, guy was nice and fixed all problems quickly! It’s a nice resort overall!

It was comforting to see outdoor and art activities were planned for visitors.

This is a nice resort with many amenities that were all in good shape. The Unit was very nice and very large and had obviously been updated recently. Special kudos to the host for enhancing our reservation by extending the checkout by one day. Our reservation was from Thur to Sun. He knew we had asked for a late checkout because our plane did not leave until Sunday at 6 pm. When we checked in, we were pleasantly surprised that the resort desk said checkout was Mon at 10 am. By the host extending it, at no extra cost, it allowed us to wake up slowly and enjoy resort amenities on Sunday morning before packing up in the afternoon. I would definitely book with this host again, and we are already talking about going back to the same place next year.
