Hotel is fine the parking not so.Paid for my parking in the hotel carport 13£ ,but the next morning found 50£ parking ticket on my car..very angry , is that the way you are treated when you visit Bristol I will never come back. Will fight this ticket.

Two minutes walk from Bristol railway station. Cleanliness of room excellent, breakfast constantly topped up. On upper floor, no traffic noise though overlooking main road. No corridor noise, comfortable room. Just one issue, only one lift for the whole of the building, we had to walk up and downstairs several times.

Over all the room was adequate and was clean. The shower drain did not flow very fast which meant that you were standing in dirty water very quickly. The cooked breakfast was also of poor quality. It had been cooked many hours in advance and was not fresh.

Very disappointed by the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Reported a dirty sink the first day and requested housekeeping services and they never turned up. I Ended up cleaning the bathroom myself. Dirty cloths were also left in the bedroom on day two. Reported this to front of house staff and was advised to send an email to the team which I did. I got a generic response back and the email was sign by [insert name here]. That’s how generic the response was’, they didn’t even have the respect to change the name at the bottom of the email. No really acknowledgement of my concerns and resolution of the issues flagged. I would advise to stay somewhere else. The only perk is the proximity to the train station. Have stayed here before this trip but don’t think I will return again.

We only stayed for one night but the service was excellent. Every member of staff that we met were very attentive. We arrived back at the hotel after a concert, we went to the bar for a drink and again the staff were great, very friendly. The cleanliness of our room was excellent as was the rest of the hotel. 10/10

The 5am fire alarm was less than ideal, and of course this was totally out of the control of the hotel. What was totally unacceptable though was the total lack of hot water! No hot water for a shower was awful and inexcusable. The bar/ lounge area was very shabby.

All but 1 member of staff were very helpful, kind and joyful. Hotel is clean and tidy. Breakfast was decent and plentiful. The mattresses are very firm but pillows and duvets were nice. Our aircon didn’t work and we found out that the hotel was aware of this, a week prior to our arrival. However, they decided not inform us and expected that it was perhaps our fault for not asking if it worked, at check in. At £220 a night - I did expect a lot more. The toilet seat was also broken.

Overnight stay, Pros- Close to train station, breakfast was of good quality Cons- Room very dated, shower water inconsistent hot and cold, doona did not fit 2 people under it, and toilet flushed when it felt like doing so. Front desk dismissed the toilet issue with it is just the way the building plumbing is

My kids were stranded at Bristol airport after Easyjet cancelled the last flight home. I booked the hotel for them, but because of corporate policy, Holiday Inn would not let them stay as they are under 18yo., but also wouldn’t let me cancel and get a refund!!!! My 16yo girl and her 14yo brother had to sleep on the footpath outside the airport until 3am when security would reopen. I spoke to the hotel and of course they said they would speak to a manage (that’s corporate speak for “I’m not going to speak with anyone and just lie to you”) and would call me back, which they didn’t. My kids have travelled to more countries than most of the the Holiday Inn’s staff and are know how to be more adult than a majority of the people who stay at Holiday Inn’s. When will compasión and understanding for kids come ahead of “corporate policy”. Clearly Corporate Policy of Holiday Inn was created by people who never had children. Or a conscience!!! Holiday Inn should be absolutely ashamed of themselves! They are as bad as Easyjet!!!

The staff were amazing! They were very welcoming and helpful. My sister and I got stuck without transportation back to the hotel and the staff made sure a taxi came to pick us up. We were greeted each time we entered the reception area and always had cheerful help if we needed it. Thank you for a pleasant and comfortable stay. You are doing a great job! Loved the hot breakfast each morning and the pizza and drinks in the evening.

Really enjoyed having breakfast and being served by the morning staff but as for the receptionist who was working on Sunday 07/04/24 around 18, although she did bring me sheets and pillow when asked because the sofa bed wasn’t made, when we arrived made me feel uncomfortable as if she didn’t want to be there.

A stroll from Temple Meads Station and buses including airport connections. An easy walk to and from the city centre. Everthing worked as it should and the whole city,not just the hotel,very friendly. We had a rear facing room with little or any noise. We would use again

Across the road from the train station regular bus service to shops etc but pleasant 10 minute walk to harbour and 15 minutes to main shopping area. Clean and comfortable Nice breakfast with enough to set up for morning. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Brilliant location, close to Temple Meads Train Station and the buses. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were great, clean and tidy, cleaned regularly and had all the basics covered. Breakfast was great value, good selection included cooked breakfast, pastries, yoghurt and fruit as well as cereals - set us up for the day. Would definitely return and would recommend.

This was for an overnight stay after arriving at Bristol Temple Meads train station, before catching the bus to Bristol Airport the next day, and it was ideal. A couple of minutes walk from the train station and bus stop, the price was fantastic and included a buffet breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable with everything you need and an excellent shower in the bathroom. We arrived late in the day, but the bar did pizza and toasted sandwiches. Would thoroughly recommend.

Breakfast was a nightmare. No eggs on 3 mornings. No bacon on one morning. The sausages were referred to as “Cumberland” but they tasted disgusting. How they could be called when in fact it was merely a cheap tasteless sausage. Baked beans were nice though.
