This is our third visit to this hotel. It is reasonably priced, in good condition and has a dated appeal. There is no lift nor air conditioning. The staff are polite and friendly yet somehow the staffing doesn’t work. The checking in process at reception is lengthy and feels very bureaucratic. The bar is open from 4pm but is apparently unmanned early on. I have wandered through the hotel looking for someone to serve me but found nobody except for the receptionist, who was wading through the bureaucracy with another guest. There needs to be a means of summoning guests both to the bar and reception.

Raquel on reception was excellent 10/10 Room was large and clean but no aircon or fan and minimal tea and coffee and milk Bar was poor, Peroni was flat Breakfast was a ‘continental’ offering, I had tea and toast, my wife had a pastry and hot water The building itself and the annex building is old, run down and not in the best condition I paid £175 for one night, it’s not worth £75

My sister and myself stayed at the hotel last night, the room wasn't in the main hotel, it was across the car park.on entertaining the room it was old fashioned, this we could cope with. The problem was the room was boiling hot, it hadn't been aired. Windows all closed. It didn't look like at had been used for a very long time. It was late so we just went to bed, it was very noisy, definitely no soundproofing... The room was absolutely discussing, dirty, cobwebs, cracks in plaster. The bathroom was so dirty and not kept clean that we couldn't even have a shower. We have photos to show but I can't upload on here. I would like booking .com to contact me,please
