A magnificent Hotel that exudes luxury from when you step in through the door. More than a customer you are treated as a guest through Check in to your room. The room we stayed in was spacious with a lots of quirky touches like an old style rotary telephone and Radio. The cups for hot beverage where beautiful tea cups. After the best Nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel (And this is the summer of '26 and the UK's 6th Heatwave). We went down to breakfast. Again attentive staff helped us navigate the options and although the Coffee machine broke for a short time they did fix by priming the milk :) Of the evening we decided to stay in the hotel for a evening meal and were offered an intimate alcove to enjoy our evening with delicious food, wine and cocktails. The location of the hotel is perfect, not being too close to the city centre and the bustle of tourism but close enough for leisurely Wander down. Being next to the train station there are small supermarkets, bars and snack food should you need.
