We had 3 ocean view balcony rooms, which were great. Two were not ready upon our arrival but they upgraded two of the rooms immediately--to an ocean view suite with living and bedroom spaces. The spa had a great menu of offerings of which we took advantage of as well. All great. The staff was friendly and very accommodating--providing directions, offering drinks, etc. We purchased the preferred status which allowed us exclusive access to quality drinks, an all-day buffet, specialty pool/beach access and coupons for spa services. The resort had a handful of restaurants for your choosing on a daily basis and there was always entertainment including a sunset mariachi dinner on Friday night. We'd stay at the Dreams Sands Cancun again.

Staff was very friendly and engaging. Bartenders were awesome. Food was decent for all inclusive. Asian place was our favorite. They do need some maintenance on the elevators. One would stop at every floor for no reason, and we often waited several minutes for one to arrive or gave up and took the stairs. Everything else was incredible.
