Check in was efficient but being made to wait 27 min to just hit official check in time was a bit awkward. Have been to this property 4-5 times but seems they have sacrificed service for extra charges. Paid for room service and got 1/3 items, promised to correct order but never came back. Food was same every day despite published themes. Overall stay was ok but gave it very good 3 months ago.

The staff was so rude, I’ve never been to an all inclusive that the staff was not overly polite and helpful. The food was DISGUSTING! Couldn’t get into a single restaurant in the resort the whole 6 days we were there. Charged us for my youngest daughter losing her wristband, $78 at the end. There was no food around the area to eat after 7pm. The buffet was miserable, same used food daily.

Honest opinion from someone who not only travels a lot but also worked in hotels in different countries before. If you are looking for a hotel to make memories with loved ones that offers quiet rooms, nice showers, good food, friendly/helpful staff, pleasant water temperature at the beach/pools, and plenty of activity options for your child, THIS IS NOT the place for you. (Not to mention the bellhop and driver that made fun of my last name when they were calling us to take the shuttle back to the airport.) The only people that stood out for their professionalism is Guadalupe and Raul (from Café Solaris), and another gentleman that made hot dogs by the pool. Even being a cheaper option in Cancun, you don't get what you paid for. Do yourself a favor and invest more money to stay in a nicer hotel - you'll thank yourself later. Additionally, take the negative reviews seriously because we regret not doing that.

⸻ They speak to you in a condescending way. Very few people are genuinely kind, and even the staff themselves say it. They take forever to fix things (like the jacuzzi). You bring up a complaint and they respond defensively, as if it were your fault (like when you told them my daughter got in and there was a loose cable). There’s no drink service on the beach (that’s never happened to me at an all-inclusive). They don’t have many umbrellas on the beach, and if there’s even the slightest wind, they don’t put them up. The food is the same every day and it’s not THAT good (I even heard some American girls say that lol). Even though it’s “all-inclusive,” you only get 1 restaurant reservation and there are only 3 restaurants. They don’t do you ANY favors (our dinner reservation was at 8:40, we got hungry earlier and thought we’d ask—no luck. They said they couldn’t move it to 8 because it was full… it was empty). This is more of a personal preference, but the bar doesn’t open until 11—not even a mimosa with breakfast. Where they have to cook something fresh, it takes FOREVER. At the snack bar, I waited over 30 minutes in the sun for burgers that were already pre-cooked. The lounge chairs by the main pool are “reserved” with towels from 6am, and the one day I saved one, someone took it. At the main bar, they couldn’t even make me a carajillo because they didn’t have Licor 43, which is pretty basic

Location and scenery is nice. Piece of recommendation is chat with staff and have them be a little friendlier as I’ve noticed not all had pleasant demeaner
