The hotel was okay but I can tell why it is cheap because you have to pay £12 a day parking but discounted to £6 .So this is not good .As I would rather the correct price for the hotel to include parkingand They have 1 single lift that was Broken.So if you could not walk the stairs you had problems

Stayed before and again was a good stay at a reasonable price Staff are nice and breakfast was good. Pay parking for disabled is a bit harsh. Would stay again. Could do with EV charge points

Everything as expected. Great for a large group of friends. Short taxi into town. Shame hotel bar was shut on our return but it was 01.00hrs :-) Good value for money and on site parking a bonus which is something the hotels in the centre don’t have.

Stayed for one night as a couple on a Friday. Hotel in general was clean and tidy, a few maintenance issues were spotted but nothing major. Reception area was nice and modern but the rooms and corridors were not. Rooms were old fashioned, poor AC, with low level specification. No USB points or modern elements. Our room and a very small double bed had a misaligned window that had massive gaps around its entire frame. Street noise was not great with motorbikes flying around at 4am! I now view Holiday Inn below a Travelodge, the quality is not great!

Our 3 night stay during "the greatest gathering" was an unholy rip-off, costing just shy of 700 quid. I had 2 nights booked at premier inn for £145 but couldn't get the 3rd night, so ended up switching. Booked specifically for aircon, but the units are over 20 years old and somewhat noisy and dilapidated. On our first night (room 223) the aircon unit went into error code every 15 mins, so we slow-cooked all night and got 45 mins sleep. Hotel were apologetic and said it would be looked at, then reported it had been fixed. Got back to my room to check it out, same error still! Thankfully they had capacity to move us from a twin to a family, but the sofa bed, although double, was horrible and thin. And takes up so much room you can't get to the window or use the desk. Toilet paper is so thin, that even the loo roll in the portaloos at the event was higher quality! And I'm genuinely not kidding. I don't know why hotels persist in this false economy, when you end up using 3x as much. Shower (room 212) was just about hot enough when set to 50+ degrees. Buffet-style cooked breakfast is passable, but an oscar-winning celebration of grease, especially on the bacon. Plates are cold. Much more limited selection than competitors such premier inn (e.g. only 1 bread +pastry type) Pros: pretty quiet, convenient for station, parking easy and cost-effective, staff pleasant, helpful and welcoming.

Really lovely hotel. Very clean and well presented. Personally my husband and I didn't like the pillows, they were too hard, even with flipping over, we ended up not using them at all. No reflection on the hotel but it was also very noisy till about 12.30 am, someone was in and out in the neighbouring room and kept letting the door slam shut.

Whole hotel and room smelt like an old vacuum bag, air con was noisy and old and smelt, not enough plug sockets in the room, and once the sofa bed was out the room was far too small for a family! Breakfast was okay, filled a hole Staff were friendly, lift felt like it was going to break so used the stairs.

Easy access to where we needed to be. Parking was extra but understandable due to proximity of football stadium, hotel gives you a discount code so not too expensive. Room has all amenities you need. The room was a little cold due to poor seal around window but the curtains helped. Breakfast was great, much better than another hotel chain beginning with T! The orange juice actually tasted of orange! We ate out on first night as there a couple of restaurants nearby but we ate in the hotel 2nd night, both had pizzas which were tasty & hot. They were a little slow on the bar due to new staff but they were cheerful and helpful. Would stay again if I was in the area.

Really friendly staff and a great location for a business trip. Breakfast was spot on, and the room (and bathroom) were both a decent size. Only downside was that the décor in the rooms and corridors felt a little dated. I had two single beds in my room, but I was aware of that before booking – would be nice if the reduced rates applied to doubles as well.

Awful night's sleep. Hotel was very noisy, from plumbing sounds everytime a neighbour went to the toilet to the sound of a generator outside running all night. Room was spotless and comfortable and the staff were excellent. Lack of sleep ruined the stay.

When checking in, the reception person told me I hadn’t paid for the rooms without having properly checked after I told him I booked through Expedia. He was trying to charge me for the rooms and I had to check myself and then tell him I have a receipt from Expedia. Not great service. Overall, a decent hotel and well located though.

Pretty good overall but a couple of niggles. Room heating was sporadic and mostly cold. We couldnt turn it up because it was noisy and kept us awake. Also disappointing not to offer any mushrooms or fried eggs at breakfast. As a vegetarian I was a bit short of choices.
