Our room was right next to the lift, that along with poor sound insulation from upstairs rooms meant we were unable to get a good nights sleep from outside noise. The beds are small and when one person turns over the other gets bounced around. Bathrooms are desperately small. Good location on the seafront. Parking can be hard to come by.

Good value for money ,stayed 1 night while visiting family . Room well furnished with tea coffee facilities, a fan for warmer days . My only negative was the access to shower ,only half the door opened which meant we have to squeeze in and out

Not good value for money. Carpet was sticky in places, duvet was a double to fit a kingsize bed. The room was sold as Executive Deluxe but it was anything but! The bed linen was ripped & stained! The headboard was grubby, as were the bed cushions. The shower screen was broken & when mended, still didn’t fit the shower cubicle! The light bulbs were flickering in the bathroom, above the mirror. The extractor fan was extremely noisy! The kitchenette was incredibly basic, vinyl floor was sticky & ripped in places. Many items of kitchen utensils were missing from the inventory, which was stuck on the back of the door. When we arrived, bearing in mind that this is a hotel with 5 floors & 76 rooms, one of the two lifts eras out of order. The other lift, when we & 2 other couples got in, stopped mid floor & started shuddering violently. We rang the alarm but no-one came. People started to panic & the lights started to flicker. After around 10 minutes, the lift lit back up & started making strange noises, then suddenly started moving again!. We eventually managed to get out, on our floor, third floor. I’ve just had spinal surgery & so we had to risk using that same lift for the entirety of outer stay! The staff were pleasant enough but we will NEVER be staying at that hotel again. You couldn’t pay me to stay there again! We paid £560 for 4 nights, & that was WITHOUT breakfast! NEVER AGAIN!!! I would avoid at all costs!!!
