The hotel is a little tired. There was no soap in the ensuite, but the staff were excellent. A minor point but the road was closed and there was no parking (ahead of Airbourne) so there was parking available foc with a permit on the local streets and they could have advised this ahead of time to manage uncertainties on arrival. They also advertise they want well dressed diners in the restaurants which is both offputting and not really true!

Elegant old lady of a hotel which I hope never gets ripped out and modernised! However more than a fan in the room should be the normal thing as with any 5 star. Excellent staff and felt cared about. Def staying again. Spa areas are great as are treatments

Overall excellent. Staff are helpful and friendly. There is a need for some small adjustments to management of the hotel in maintenance of the property and in the kitchen and restaurant to ensure an excellent performance throughout.
