These apartments are well equipped and almost new The apartment was very roomy for 4 travellers with 2br and seperate living area and well equipped kitchen. parking is secure as well

Parking was expensive but convenient and secure.

We enjoyed this property for our first week in Edinburgh. Great location in the old town area. Very walkable area and hotel offers parking. We will be rebooking this hotel for our next two trips to Edinburgh later this year.

Property is in a good location, front desk staff are very friendly and helpful secure on-site parking is a big plus for Edinburgh. Being an apartment there is plenty of space (we had a two bedroom unit with a lounge and a kitchen). The lounge and the kitchen were light and airy with plenty of space, and what appeared to be newish furnishing and fixtures. Plenty of electrical outlets albeit in the form of extension leads. Building(s) are multi-occupancy (private residents and Mansley guests) whoever was above us was very noisy on our first night (sounded like someone was roller skating) up until around 23:00 after that no problems. Now the bedrooms, this is where things were in need of more care and attention, tired and far from clean in some areas would be my summary. The beds themselves were clean and comfortable the pillows were broken down and in need of replacement. Carpets are frayed at doorways, thread bare in areas of most traffic and in need of replacement. both bedrooms had an on-suite bathroom these were dirty with mould in and around the showers and not just a day or two's worth - the outside of one of the shower doors was encrusted with a thick layer of congealed dust. The most worrying item was the extractor fan in the 'main' bathroom this was thick with dust and had we been there longer than 2 nights I would have asked to be moved - this can not have been working efficiently, maybe not helping the mould, and mealy like a fire hazard and or health risk.

Another nice place to stay. Lots of space to hangout with your friends and family. Great location and easy to find. Free parking but don't forget to pre-book that. Friendly staff.

Perfectly located in the city centre . Walkable distance from many prime attractions. Very convenient secured parking. Staff was also very helpful.

It's a great little apartment, although facilities were quite old, they had everything. Service and Location was great! Walkable distance to Edinburgh castle, royal mile and Victoria street. We parked our car at the hotels designated carpark.

The apartment was clean but felt older. Above and beyond with the supplies stocked in the kitchen. Very nice location. Staff was kind and informative.

The location was good. The amenities were satisfactory. However the tv was not working in the bedrooms which was disappointing and the remote was not workable and was never replaced. The carpet looked old and spotty. I would recommend to leave wooden floors to make it more desirable.

The bedroom had a bad smell. Think it was the carpet.

This was in a pretty good location! They offered breakfast options and waters in our room on the first day (nothing was ever refilled though like they had originally told us). They provide soap, shampoo and conditioner in all of the showers. There were a pair of spa slippers for each person which was cute. The floors and bed covers were very dirty though which made the whole experience just feel more run down sadly.

We had a nice large apartment that accommodated our family of three very comfortably. It had a nice clean kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I appreciated that the bathrooms were very clean. The shower in one bath didn’t work very well but the other shower worked great (hot water and great water pressure). Property is located in a great part of town close to all the cool shops and eateries. Highly recommend.

The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and accommodating. They go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. I stayed in 2 different rooms, the 1st a 1 bedroom suite, everything was perfect. The 2nd stay was a 2 bedroom suite with family. The rooms could use a bit of an uplift. Both suites were very clean and getting fresh linen or refills on anything was not a problem

I would stay there again very nice having the space after being in hotels during our tour in Scotland. We were there during a warm spell which means our windows were open. Pretty noisy on street especially on Saturday. There are 3 bars close by. If I were to stay again I’d ask for an apartment not facing the street. The apartment was very comfortable and good location.

Excellent organized space for a family of four. Very close to main Edinburgh attractions.

This spacious, fully equipped flat worked out great for our family of 4. The area has many different options for restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, grocery stores...Perfect location as well, within the walking distance to many attractions that Edinburgh has to offer. Highly recommended!

Spent 4 nights here for Taylor Swift concert. 2BR/2BA for 4 adults. Very comfortable. Great location and very clean/quiet. Highly recommend.

Cons: Property is old and in need of updating. I was in building 15 and the FLOORS creak so badly it wakes everyone up. No good if you have babies and no good when everyone is tired. All furniture shows wear and staining. The showers don’t drain and are hard to figure out and one shower super tiny. No directions for anything. The microwave/stove unlike anything I’ve seen so I had to get help. Directions would have helped. Pros: staff is awesome. Location is perfect. I had plenty of heat and lots of natural light. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. They supplied soap lotion hair products, soap for dishwasher, I would go there again if they updated everything but the floors were so bad we tip toed to be quiet at night and it would crack and creak THAT needs attention.

This stay was a part of a much longer trip, and was the priciest of all our stays but worth it! While we were right next to three nightclubs it was never really noisy and the neighborhood felt safe. The apartment was clean and spacious! The staff were all very friendly and we even got a welcome basket for our stay! We would absolutely chose to stay here again when we come back to Edinburgh! We loved that it was close to shopping and eateries

Very large, spacious suite in a wonderful neighbourhood, quite central in the Old Town. There was great stocking of products for the apartment (lovely bath products, washing machine pods, kitchen items, etc..) The staff are friendly and helpful as can be. We would recommend the property to anyone, and will return next time we're in Edinburgh!

we never got there, there was a storm and were zéro help gum when needed to change the conditions of the réservation or reschedule

This was a wonderful location to stay in Edinburgh. The apartments were spacious and comfortable. All the staff were very helpful. The only down side of the property is not having 24hr support at the front desk. We had an incident where the fire alarm went off at 6:30 in the morning and when we tried to contact the given numbers, there was no answer. But again, overall, everything was very nice about the property. Would recommend to a friend/stay there again.

Very friendly staff, close to the castle, clean and quite. I did not use much of the kitchen since I was on a short business trip, but noticed that it was fully equipped, coffee etc plus freshly delivered milk! The bathroom had all the essential toiletries. Robe, slippers and hair dryer provided, TV both in the bedroom and the breakfast/ living room area and wifi. Excellent help from the reception staff from arranging for taxis to the university, plus directions on where to walk to and what to see in the short free time I had available. Thank you all, I will be back for holidays ! Very strongly recommended .

Minutes away from the Grass Market which has plenty of dining options and shopping. The staff allowed us to check in early and helped us book tours for Edinburgh Castle. Every time we entered the building, the staff greeted us and asked how are day was.

Great location! Easily walkable to the Grassmarket, Royal Mile, trains, and buses.

Unfortunately, It was the only area of Old Town that I didn't feel safe walking at night. Rooms were good and clean. Very comfortable for a family

Spent 3 days there. Very quiet, clean and comfortable apartment equipped with everything needed. Close to all main attractions (walkable distance to Royal Mile, National History Museum, Castle) and a lot of pubs and restaurants nearby.

Perfect location for exploring Edinburgh. Only 10 minutes walk from the Castle and close to Grassmarket for pubs and bars. 10mins from tram stop for ease of travelling from airport. Well equipped kitchen and lots of space. House keeping daily for fresh towels and bins cleared. Would definitely recommend.

Spacious, easy check in, well stocked. Area was seedy, fine during the day but unsafe at night.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs in Grass Market, Walking distance to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. We would recommend this apartment hotel to family and friends. Nice Kitchen with washer/dryer. Long walk to Waverly train station (take a taxi or Uber).

Perfect accommodation for a family. So pleased to arrive and find it stocked with breakfast items. Very thoughtful. Close tourist attractions, but be warned there are three gentlemen’s clubs on the same corner. However, it was not loud at night. We slept with windows open without issue

We loved staying at the Knight Residence! The staff was super helpful with reserving a taxi and also showed us how to maneuver downtown. Excellent location and we were able to walk to a lot of the sites on the Royal Mile. We also loved the tea and coffee provided!

Hidden gem- amazing location near Edinburgh Castle and royal mile. Very spacious 2 bedroom apartment. They had some sundries like cereal milk coffee and croissants waiting for us. Amazing place

Kitchen was beautifully stocked with breakfast items including fresh croissants and jams!

Staff was great. Coffee machine by check in was nice. They also provide a French press. The rooms were comfortable and the amount of windows made it easy to get fresh air in.

Centrally located and walkable to City of Edinburgh. Very spacious apartment. Quiet street and apartment had key fob and key for extra security to access building. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Apartment very spacious. Booking on Expedia we were surprised with a VIP breakfast basket which was great to use every morning. Bathroom was spacious but could use some maintenance with floor and shower cord. . Bedrooms were nice size - beds were hard but pillows not bad. Bathrobes and slippers in bedroom closet as well as a safe. Kitchen came well equipped even with a washer/dryer unit. Lots of space if you have more than 2 people staying.

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. The apartment was really nice and spacious and had plenty of room for the 5 of us (2 adults and 3 children). Milk in the fridge and teas/coffees were a nice touch that we didn't expect to have. Great location and facilities are to a high standard.
