Very comfortable, lovely breakfasts, room service available 24/7. Terrific location around the corner from British Museum. My room was quite tiny, so I especially appreciated lounge to sit and read. I do think coffee and tea could be provided for free at the lounge.

My husband and I spent 7 nights at the Montague this September / October. What an exceptional experience we had. The service from everyone, absolutely everyone was warm, friendly, professional and incredibly helpful when needed. Breakfast was provided and was both an abundant and varied buffet and table service. High quality with great staff. Location is a block from the British Museum and we loved the Bloomsbury location that was so central. We walked a lot from there to many neighborhoods. Afternoon tea was a treat and several evenings we had cocktails before dinner out at the bar. The room was not large, but adequate. The shower was one of the best we have experienced. The staff kept the room well supplied and very clean. My personal favorite was the coffee in the room. As in most hotels, there was coffee and tea and a hot pot for water. But our room had a small French Press with a coffee "sachet" of excellent, rich coffee that gave us each about 6 oz cup to begin our day. Mugs were ideal, with the red carnation logo, thin lip. And each day the staff refreshed the 2 biscuits and 2 bottles of water. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We appreciated that there was an additional voluntary daily charge that could be added which would be distributed to the staff, eliminating having to leave an amount on the last day in the room. I would return to this hotel any time in London. Again, a great experience!

This hotel is in an excellent location on a relative.y quiet street but yet close to many attractions & good restaurants. The rooms are a bit tired & could use a refresh. Staff were very helpful & courteous for all requests. We had a plumbing issue in our bathroom which was promptly fixed.

This hotel was spectacular! It is a block from the British Museum which is a great place to see. There was pubs and shopping within walking distance. The hotel was beautifully decorated and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff, doormen, concierge, and everyone was were super kind and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if going to London!
