Convenient location if you’re looking to explore London. Close to stops of Big Bus tour and major landmarks. The hotel is under construction, I didn’t like being on the first floor close to the street . The staff is great. No restaurants on site but plenty of restaurants nearby.

The rooms and elevators are much too small; the hallways much too narrow. The disabled sntry lift was out of order and took five working days to get fixed. In my opinion the problem was quite small. But the effort to complete it also very small. I will not return to this place.

The staff and the concierge were very helpful. The hotel was ideally located about 3 blocks from Oxford St. and about 4 from Hyde Park. A refrigerator was provided free upon request. They had a fitness room. Our room felt rather small. For most guests, breakfast was Not free.

Tight security on the door which I liked but the man watched our every move. Kept staring at us as we checked in. Quite strange. Anyway. Clean room, lovely bathroom, fresh towels etc. room was cold though and the bathroom radiator wasn’t on (it’s winter ) Breakfast was tasty. Good value and close to the tube station.

This property is my new favorite hotel in London. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms had ample space and great soaking tub, coffee maker and great housekeeping. The bartenders made the best passion fruit martinis. 10/10. Can’t wait to stay again.

All staff were exceptional a real asset to your hotel, very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. location was excellent, easy for tubes and shopping. Room and bathroom very clean. We only had breakfast at the hotel and that was wonderful. Will definitely return

The hotel is nice but is a little dated now. Do we really need 2 large telephones in the room and an alarm clock in a world where most people use their mobiles.? The room was kept clean but shows signs of wear. We had a bath but couldn’t fill it as the plug wouldn’t keep the water in, we asked this to be fixed but it wasn’t. Staff very friendly and professional but it all just felt a bit tired.

Lovely clean hotel. The staff would go out of there way to assist. Rooms are small but have all the amenities you need. Location was perfect just off Oxford street with a short walk to the tube. I would highly recommend this hotel

Hotel on the face is clean and modern but not on the other site of your door. Room fixtures were VERY dated with a couch that looked as if it had been found on the street. The main issue was there had been water damage to the bathroom at some point. the window paint was flaked and had been for some time, the window covering had been removed and never replaced and as the toilet had a glass door the light streamed in and no way to shut out. The quality of the breakfast was poor, milk was off, part cooked food. Staff were good and worked tiressly.

Really felt ripped off. £250 per night for a noisy, tiny, dusty, stuffy, dark and dirty room. Pictures to prove it, which I will be sending to Doubletree corporate. How can this be a Doubletree ? It felt like a 2/ 3 star hotel. Dreadful patronising front desk service. Breakfast was a very poor quality buffet. I have lived in London for over 20 years and the Marketing Director of an award winning media agency. I stay in Doubletree quite often and spend my vacations in Dubai and the Doubletree has always been great. Only stayed one night thankfully and was there due to having an operation (5 mins walk) on Harley Street. Never ever again. Slept very badly, room smelt heavily of Indian cooking and windows let in odours and noise from street below. Stains on bedding, curtains, carpets. Save yourself a nightmare. Book elsewhere! Hotel room was horrible and very small. And very old and damage. Also, it was freezing. Also, they let the alarm on at 6 AM in the morning and we woke up.!! so we left and checked out the next day. We didn’t stay in the room. He changed to another hotel.

Nice Reception area but the rooms if you get given ground floor are awful. No natural day light, a shower that flooded as the water doesnt drain, an annoying spot light that comes on in the room if you move and I wasnt told this when booking but they only served continental breakfast

Then, the breakfast was not just Continental - almost had nothing in it, we ate with wooden spoons on paper plates. It was terrible. Many people just turned around and left. I asked for compensation before leaving and they said they’d return with information, sure haven’t even though it’s been over a week. Rooms OK but old. O’d rather pay slightly more for a room on the hotel across the street which I’ve also stayed at.

Super friendly and efficient staff! Warm chocolate chip cookies at check -in! Quiet, comfy and clean room! Two complimentary drinking water bottles delivered to our room daily. Delicious breakfast! Nataline and Dhruv were so attentive in the dining room, offering us made to order eggs at the breakfast buffet, and yummy cream with our coffee! The porter-doorman Seyed was especially helpful in lifting and storing our heavy luggage after check out, and getting us a taxi for our tour! He even waited for our late return back to the hotel to help us again! Thank you all so very much for your excellent service!

After much trepidation about staying alone in a hotel, with a mobility issue, I found the staff to be extremely helpful, accommodating and kind. I was given a room accessible by elevator. I was shown how to get to the breakfast area in a different elevator so that I wouldn’t have to take the stairs. The concierge and ladies at the front desk assisted me at all times. Although the location could use a little “improvement “ (not Hilton property but others in the area), the hotel itself was full of history, with its story on a plaque on the wall. And the cookies were delicious!

Hotel was quiet, check in and out process quick and easy. Staff were very helpful in accomodating us to a different floor than originally given, as my elderly mother has some trouble with stairs. Thermostat was hard to manage, room was either very cold or very hot. We would have preferred to keep it cold and requested a blanket or additional duvet, but we were repeatedly denied this request, staff stating there were no additional in the whole hotel. Overall, it was fine, but unfortunately nothing special about our stay.

Booked for a long weekend, had to drive down from the North West due to train strikes, but we found the hotel very easily (had to pay for a parking space around the corner) Fabulous location near Marble Arch Tube station, perfect for everything we had planned. We were in a basement King Double room that was very spacious for London and with great clean facilities. Would definitely use again.

Hotel conveniently located close to Oxford street and various shopping destinations. Proximity to various places ( restaurants, bus) was really convenient. The rooms are more on the smaller size and slightly congested. Overall, still a worthwhile stay.

The room was too small. I just came off a cruise and the room was smaller than my state room on the ship. There was too little space for hanging clothes or storing items. Breakfast was very good. Consiege service was very helpful. However, sending an invoice for payment 48hrs before leaving the hotel was distasteful (£27)- payment must be made in 24 hrs ??? However, when i went to pay it , i was told that you can pay it when i am leaving. I always choose Double Tree by Hilton but i now have some reservations.
