Checking in was easy, receptionist was very friendly. Room was smaller than I expected, but fine for one night. Strange arrangement for laundry, had to book at reception and pay for washer and dryer. Huge industrial size equipment for a small load. Setting for dryer was Hot only although I had set it for Medium. Coffee machine in the lobby was 'out of order' in the morning, sincere apologies were offered by multiple members of staff.

Adequate. Bed was very hard. Fridge was noisy. The weird arrangement of door, vestibule, door was inconvenient to get into the room, and annoying when our neighbours arrived home in the middle of the night and pissed around outside our room repeatedly slamming the two doors. The cafe on the ground floor was awful. Took more than 15 minutes to get a coffee and pastry out of the troupe of girls standing around chatting.

Easy to find, central position for many attractions, sight —seers dream. Apartment was clean & looked exactly as in description & photos, stocked with everything you need for a short stay away. Reception staff were friendlly, really welcoming & informative. Oh! & free tea, coffee throughout stay, with machine in reception for this. Would recommend & would book again.

The room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. There was a nice cafe downstairs. Location is very convenient. Front desk staff seemed poorly trained, and generally bad at communicating. But I give 5 stars to George, the porter, who fixed my TV promptly and efficiently, so that I could get online.

Liked the upgrade, was upgraded to a small suite room with a kitchen. There is also a small but well stocked gym and free tea and coffee down in the basement. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. It is a short walk from Farringdon station. The staff were very friendly and helped me when I realised I forgot my charger and let me leave it to charge at the reception desk. The only drawback of this hotel is that the air conditioning was slightly noisy (sounded like a quiet hairdryer) so had some trouble getting to sleep. Overall would definitely recommend to others.

Super clean, safe, friendly and helpful staff, big rooms and bathrooms, close to the tube and direct to Heathrow and most of the other airports. There is a street food market mon-fri about a three minute walk away. Barbican center is right by. They have a gym at the hotel and you can also use class pass and go to the gym across the street that has a pool and sauna. They have free pastries in the morning from 8-10 and free coffees all day. They let me check in 4 hours early.

The room was spacious and well proportioned, perfect for our one night stay. It would have been perfect had the extra bed been prepared or at least bedding provided, we noticed this very late and had to get dressed to get it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only niggle was the breakfast. While the café looked appealing and suggested a specific vibe, being served coffee and food in disposable cups shouldn't be a thing anymore nowadays, especially from a sustainability point of view. Had we known, we would have had breakfast elsewhere.

Everything you’d want for a comfortable short stay with a little self catering thrown in . Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Very convenient location in a surprisingly quiet area , yet close to Barbican tube station and a Tesco Express etc. Studio ideal for one person, maybe a bit a squeeze for a couple with luggage

I stay at Citadines Barbican regularly. This trip was disappointing as the room had a terrible chemical smell (room 515) which seemed to be coming from the curtains strangely. Unfortunately due to early starts and late finishes at work I didn’t have a chance to ask them to change me to a different room. Until room 515 is smelling better, I won’t stay in that room again !

The room was clean and tidy ! The bed comfy. Excellent facilities eg. cooking area (including fridge - microwave - sink), nine electric sockets, five USB sockets. good TV. Bathroom was spotless and functioning without issues.

Got a free upgrade for signing up as a member at the desk. The room came with a small kitchen, very comfortable bed, and super clean bathroom. Everything is quite perfect and I would rebook in the future. Convenient to the tube station as well.

Right around the corner from the Barbican , this is a modern hotel. The decor and condition is perfect, the spacious room was kitted out with a kitchen area, coffee making facilities, TV and all modern charging requirements are met. The room was warm, with great aircon, and the bed was comfortable. Shall return

Studio was small but well equipped - & everything worked. Tight for 2, perfect for one. Excellent bed & bedding, excellent lighting, spotlessly clean, shower a bit feeble but worked ok. Very quiet despite being in a busy part of London. Recommended, especially if you want the option to self-cater.

Excellent location 4 minutes away from Barbican underground. Room was really clean & modern. Pubs, cafes & restaurants nearby as well as Tesco Express. Water in fridge & tea / coffee facilities were good. Booked a twin room but had a double. Air con was a bit noisy. Not an issue as we turned it off but could be an issue in Summer when you need it on.

Amazing service. Was able to check in early and leave our bags after check out as we had a late departure. Amazing location. The only thing was that there was a common entry between two rooms that then split to separate locked doors. This was fine other than the fact that your entire room shook when the other room came home and/or left.

Upon check-in I was asked to register for all sorts of things via a QR code, seemingly unnecessarily. This process took nearly ten minutes to complete. It seems that I had to create an online account to check-in, which is some sort of nonsense. Otherwise, everything was perfectly pleasant, the room was comfy and clean. I only stayed one night so cannot comment on other facilities.

A great stay at the Citadines Barbican Apart'hotel. The location was good, close to Barbican tube station, which is convenient for accessing all areas of central London fairly easily. There were a couple of restaurants close by that looked great and were very busy, but unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to try them out. Tesco Express was just up the road for essential items. Service and staff were brilliant, made to feel welcome from arrival until departure, and received a special gift to help celebrate my husband's birthday. Our room was a good size, very quiet, clean and great facilities. We were on the top floor, as I had requested, and had a glimpse over the roof tops to the gherkin and other impressive buildings. It was a great stay, and I would definitely return on a future visit to London.
