Excellent location, with sauna, steam and spa. Breakast was included which made the package even better. Staff we excellent. Facilities great including meeting options. I also dined at Ming (part of the hotel) and the food and service were excellent.

This was our third time staying here. The good: staff was nice and luggage was handled well. I liked the pillows. The TV was advanced and had nice smooth feature for casting to it. The bad: This room was very small especially for the price. One of the two main elevators was broken and seems to have been for a while. The wait was frequently annoying and we walked up 6 flights multiple times. They were supposed to clean our room. They actually called and asked when they could but they never showed up during the large time slot we gave them which was most of the day til 8pm. They showed up at 9:45 pm to clean which is absurd. So no cleaning occurred, no fresh towels. The gym wasn’t very clean and was too small to accommodate everyone in there which was maybe 8 people. The breakfast was below average and very crowded. They were renovating the back of the lobby. It was not nearly as good as our two previous stays before 2020. I don’t plan to return on our next trip to London.

The main issue is that one of the hotel's two elevators is not working resulting in long waits for an elevator and this has been an issue for months. There is a fair amount of deferred maintenance on doors and furniture that is disappointing and could be easily resolved with paint! The service was great though, but I would not stay there again.

The hotel was amazing, really clean and beautifully decorated from the inside and outside for Christmas. The vitality pool, steam and sauna were nice and relaxing. Definitely recommend the hotel for staying.

The hotel is beautiful overall, but it is unacceptable to have only one functioning elevator in a seven story large hotel. This has been an ongoing problem that seems to not have a resolution in sight.

Only one elevator works and its always occupied. No signs for the stairs and even finding them they were in the middle of construction area. Twice alarm started without reason, "upgraded" room with view to aircons. This was our second time and both times was a mess with elevators. Stuff very polite and kind.

Fantastic hotel location; disappointing facilities and service despite the high room cost. The Sunday buffet brunch was an expensive choice that did not deliver at all on service or atmosphere. Almost 200e for 2 omlettes and mimosa's. Unorganized, erratic service even though the overworked servers were trying. The front desk promised to call when the room was ready- they did not. When we returned after 330 pm, the new agent told us the room had been ready for over an hour. No apology for not following the note to call when room was ready. One of the 2 elevators was not working; this made for long wait times each trip to and from the room. Our floor had plastic covering the hall carpet that made rolling suitcases challenging. There was no security latch on the door even though there was a sign announcing one. The room overall was comfortable and clean despite the hallway and latch issues. Wonderful stay at St James Court! Everything was so clean, room was serviced and immaculate! Yummy breakfast options and friendly staff! Special thanks to Harish from the front desk, Jeswin, Robin and Sovio from the restaurant and William from lobby. We stayed for 6 nights and they really made us feel at home - everyone super welcoming, super professional, we came to be tourists and eating a hearty breakfast was super efficient, rooms were gorgeous and clean. I have stayed at The Ritz, Four Seasons etc and honestly enjoyed this stay so much more! Highly recommended! Don’t worry about the construction- you’ll not notice it at all!

This property is very dated and not in great shape. 2 of 3 elevators were not working the entire stay, you could tell they had been that way for a long time. The waits on the elevators were very long as the hotel was busy. The room I was in had not been updated for decades. The carpet was very warn and dirty, the tub was so high it was hard to get into and the bathroom faucet was barely attached to the sink. The card to get into the room was so old fashion that if you put it near your phone it had to be reset. The mini refrigerator did not work. There was no doorman to help with bags when I arrived. Overall for the charge I have stayed in much better hotels in London. Just needs a complete updating.

Not the cleanest, several bits and pieces left behind from the previous guests under the table and on the floor. Also had some pretty bad stains on the carpet. The spa floor is wonderful tile but extremely slippery when wet, not practical.

There are least two sections to the hotel, old and new. The front section facing the street is the old section and the new section is at the back of the property across a courtyard. Our first room, unbeknownst, was in the old section and was very OLD, shabby, especially considering the quite expensive price. Worn carpeting, cheap furniture with stains, 50 year old bathroom plumbing…. Faced into a decrepit courtyard with trash, HVAC equipment, overgrown weeds. Would not pass for a luxury hotel room in any fashion; supposedly a “Junior Suite” which was an upgrade. Very bad. We upgraded again and spent more money for a room-suite in the new building which was much better, quite nice but ridiculously expensive. Great location but we would not go back.

The hotel rooms were well appointed but there was no attention to hallways and the food left outside elevators! It stayed there for days and I ended up calling housekeeping! The biggest inconvenience was NO TV for my whole 4 day stay! No news from home or exposure to British TV! This was OUTRAGEOUS - 4 days!! I’ve never heard of such a thing in a normal residence never mind a large, expensive hotel!

The service was excellent- from the time we got out of the cab- the staff was there assisting us as welcoming us. Check in was a breeze. Jeff at the front desk was very helpful. My room was upgraded, that was a pleasant surprise. There were other amenities like safe na and spa but I didn’t avail of it, maybe on my next stay. Daily room cleaning was good. Excellent breakfast choices. Excellent staff, hotel is good location.

While the staff was nice and the room was clean, there were a lot of things that needed repair. Our room was very warm as the A/C didn’t work. The hotel was very warm in general. Only one elevator was operational and there were a few construction project inside.

Excellent location. One minute from St James Park UG Station, Buckingham Palace/embassey neighborhood. Easy Heathrow access, most sights, activities walkable or a short walk/underground combo. The rooms are large, especially by Euro standards, and comfortable. Staff is very helpful, friendly, professionally trained. Breakfast was included with our 7-night stay (total cost resulted in $500/night). The variety of offerings in the buffet is extraordinary but the price if paid separately was $40/person -very difficult to find that value in what we eat for breakfast. The facility rating is lowered here for a couple reasons: There was a bit of maintenance in progress (minor noise, slowed elevators). And the building is older (weird uneven floors on room levels). The facility actually presents larger and grander on the site, plus we chose it for the restaurant options on site. Once there, though, we decided to explore other options. London is known for it Indian cuisine and we found wonderful options outside the hotel. This hotel is clearly a favorite with vacationers from India.

The service was amazing and the staff super friendly. The first night was awful as the air conditioning broke. We woke up drenched in sweat. It was practically unbearable and we could not stomach another night like this. After we spoke to a manager and advise that the technician could not fix the problem, We were upgraded to a super nice luxurious suite as an apology.

Excellent service! I booked as an electric wheelchair user, and booked a premium room as it looked large enough, I don't need grab rails etc. When I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist said that she thought there might be a better room for me, she offered my partner and I a complementary drink while it was sorted. When it was sorted about 30 minutes later, the hotel had upgraded us to a suite, which was perfect for my chair, extremely spacious and clean, could not have been better. Outstanding staff just thinking on their feet and providing the best experience I've had when a hotel isn't quite sure the room I booked is large enough, top marks, cannot fault the Taj, will definitely be back, thank you!

Amazing hotel, staff were polite and attentive throughout. Room was perfect, breakfast filling and plentiful and spa was exactly what was required. Really appreciated the special efforts to make the stay even better, as was my wife’s 50th and the flowers, birthday card and upgrade were greatly received and enjoyed.

Wonderful property and likely will be our go to stay in London moving forward. Less than a 5 minute walk to a tube stop on the Circle Line, so you can get anywhere quickly. You are also 5 minute walk to Buckingham Palace. Numerous pubs within walking distance and the food on site is incredible. Everything we had was great. Staff and service was amazing and the rooms were nice and well taken care of each day. Absolutely recommend this place.

Great location but very poor service. We waited for an hour for our room to be ready (we arrived after the 1500 check-in time) but received no apology from the check-in staff. Shortly after getting into the room, a maintenance man knocked on the door then entered immediately without waiting - not acceptable at all. Breakfast service was disorganised and the food was very average. I would definitely not stay here again - there are much better options in this price range.

Fantastic hotel location; disappointing facilities and service despite the high room cost. The Sunday buffet brunch was an expensive choice that did not deliver at all on service or atmosphere. Almost 200e for 2 omlettes and mimosa's. Unorganized, erratic service even though the overworked servers were trying. The front desk promised to call when the room was ready- they did not. When we returned after 330 pm, the new agent told us the room had been ready for over an hour. No apology for not following the note to call when room was ready. There was no security latch on the door even though there was a sign announcing one. The room overall was comfortable and clean despite the hallway and latch issues. Had a lovely stay at St James Ct. The property is in a great location near Buckingham Palace, metro, St James Park. Rooms were great and showers were excellent. the courtyard is very cute. Staff is very friendly and did a great job at check in. Overall it was a great experience.

This is a great property in a very nice neighborhood adjacent to the Buckingham Palace. This is our second time staying in this property. However, we were quite disappointed with the service and the dining options especially breakfast this time around. It has definitely gone down although the property has made efforts to remodel and upgrade some sections of the property. We ate at House of Ming twice - the food and service were both awesome! However the TH restaurant where they serve breakfast remains much to be asked for - the staff is rude, hot breakfast is disappointing to say the least and just overall seems to be a place with no discipline or proper management. I wish they improve the service because as a frequent traveller I would love to go back to this hotel again! The concierge and front reception service is quite good.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Upgraded room was much appreciated. Staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and dinner in the House of Ming was exceptional. Location couldn’t be surpassed-so many attractions within walking distance. Well done to all! Looking forward already to returning to your fabulous hotel.

Hotel was fine & would stay again, however, be prepared for the chaos at breakfast, fortunately we were not under any time pressure but if you are then you may have to give breakfast a miss. You could be waiting 15 minutes or more to get seated & then service for coffee can take a while.

Reception team Sandesh and Ridge helpful during check in process and mage arrangements for children in room. Breakfast buffet was a treat I was unable to taste all options as so many choices especially great tasting quick , hot at table served delicious Indian breakfast dishes . I don’t even know where to begin with this hotel. It was my second time at this hotel and it didn’t disappoint. The Taj in London is just spectacular our stay from start to finish was such a beautiful experience. An excellent stay to celebrate a special occasion. Staff were incredible, attentive, polite and we were given an upgrade to our room on arrival. We did not eat breakfast at the property as it was not included in our room booking however we did make use of the hotels many restaurants - which were amazing! So much choice and excellent food. Great location for exploring the area of Westminster and the hotels courtyard is breathtaking.
