Really nice stay, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The beds are fantastic to sleep in, it is quiet from the street. My room was at the top, and no lift so kind of hard to get there. And bring your own soap/schampoo. There is small soaps so it's okay :) Breakfast was okay with toast, marmalade and Nutella, of course coffee, tea and juice. My brothers children said 5/5 points! I say 4/5 because of the stairs. Thank you!

Convenient location and surprisingly quiet! Room clean, but at the very top of the building with no lift. The blurb does point out "no lift". But it was horribly stuffy and hot, even with tbe fan going throughout the night. The man who checked us in was helpful and friendly. This is in contrast to the staff serving breakfast the following morning. There were several problems with the breakfast: 1 Absolutely no concession for gluten free guests. Nothing. 2 No fresh or tinned fruit to eat INSTEAD of glutinous bread. 3 No choice of toast types, just white. When I queried and asked for brown bread the reply was, "we only have white." So we both ended up with yoghurt and coffee for breakfast, and left the four slices of white toast on the table. Moral of the story: if you have dietary needs don't thiink you’ll be eating breakfast there.

We had to climb up five flights of stairs to our room, which had no air conditioning and was a 10 x 10 room without a toilet. We had a shared toilet in the hallway. The stairways were not safe overall the hotel was not worth anywhere close to what we paid for it

No elevator. I had to walk 5 stairs to our room and my health is not that good. That was hard. Breakfast was simple. Fine for us but a slice of cheese/ham would have been nice. Rooms were clean, simple but perfect for our citytrip.

Very conveniently location, walking distance to Victoria Station and main attractions like Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. It’s small room but clean and confortable. Be advised no elevators, no problem for us. Breakfast was included only cereal, juice, coffee and toast. I loved the early check in without extra payment. I really appreciate it because we came so tired from New York. We really need the early check in. Room was available at 12pm.

Staff very helpful on Reception. I had a large family rooom that was very clean and although very warm there was a fan that I made good use of. Dining room on the small side so some guests had to wait for a table. Communal areas and carpets old and tired and could do with updating. Convenient for Victoria Coach & Train Station.

It was a very small room but we knew that going in however it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a continental type including toast, cereal, yogurt, coffees, tea and juices which was fine with us. We did find the room warm but were able to cool it off using the fan and opening the window in the evening as it was September and so not really hot during evening. The decor is definitely dated including the carpets. You do hear noise from other rooms but not an ongoing issue for us. The location was excellent. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and it is close to Victoria station for all transportation.

No elevator, price when I booked was $80 when I finally paid was way more, continental breakfast did not have fruit, booked 2 days , only had breakfast 1 day, double bed in room was lopsided on the right side, because the room is small and no where to sit, looks like the right side is sit on a lot, so its leaning way down. Stay at best western on upper corner a few years back, its a better choice

Location was very good, near Victoria station. Hotel was acceptable for a budget hotel. No elevator but hotel clerk carried my bag up and down the stairs for me. He also flagged a taxi for me, very helpful. It is an older hotel so all was good, buy a new rug going up the stairs would be good.

Great little spot in the middle of London. Very nice staff, clean rooms, new clean bathroom. The beds where a little hard and the room was small, but we where only there to sleep in the night so it didnt really matter. We didnt expect this but everyday when we had been out and about, the room had been cleaned and the beds made. The breakfast where there but nothing to brag about, and the room to eat it where very tiny and we had to wait until there was room for us to come in and eat 😅 But all in all we had a great time there and would gladly come again (but would eat breakfast out)

The bedsheets, carpets and curtains were not clean. Also, the toilet is shared with other guests. The room had a shower and sink inside, which was good, but not much privacy if you travel with more than one person. The staff were polite though and check in was simple.

Very good accommodation and location for the price paid. Room was compact but very clean with good shower and bathroom facilities. Kettle and tea/coffee in room was great to have. Checkin and departure was smooth, with friendly front desk staff who are on hand 24 hrs. Would definitely recommend

The staff at this hotel were amazing. They were friendly and so helpful, BUT this hotel is dated and the twin room I was in was very small, as in I just had a few feet on one side of the bed. The location was good and I felt safe and was walkable to the sites I wanted to visti.

I liked the large family room- a double bed and 3 single beds. It's hard to find something for a family traveling with 3 kids. Only problem was that the room smelled when we arrived. Breakfast was basic, but good: toasted white bread, jam, cereal, milk, tea, coffee, yoghurt. Location is great.

The fellow at the front desk was really friendly and helpful. We ended up having to be moved to a room that was up a few flights of stairs and he carried BOTH of our suitcases up for us. He was also very helpful in suggesting recommendations for dinner.

We enjoyed our time at the Dover Hotel. Very close to Victoria Train Station. Excellent restaurants in the area. We needed two taxis for our group and Khrumm was very helpful he stood out on the corner and flagged down two cabs in the matter of minutes. Great service!!!!

Unfortunately my mother died and had to interrupt my stay from 4 to 1 day and the manager didn’t approve my refund even after offering price of death, besides that, the room was old, stained carpets, breakfast was a toast or cereal, not really breakfast, the only plus was the location, and the staff , other than that do yourself a favor an pay more for a better place where you are not jus one number but a person that might have a last minute death in the family to have some consideration for.

This is definitely our go-to hotel in London. It is a budget-friendly place with a perfect location: centrally located and a five minute walk from Victoria Station. The room was small, but clean and modern. The front desk is open 24 hours and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included with our room and the staff are very efficient and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a simple budget friendly hotel. I paid GBP70 for a one night stay. The room was small but very clean, the shower was hot, the bed was comfy and the room was a comfortable temperature. I did not need a desk to work at so that was not an issue. For a one night crash over it was more than adequate. Breakfast was very very simple. Just toast and jam, coffee and juice from concentrate. But given a lot of hotels at this price point would not include anything its was welcome and saved me feeling starving hungry as I walked out the door. There was a night manager on overnight so my extremely late check in was accommodated and he was polite and friendly. Check out was very rapid. All in all very satisfied for what it is. An amazing location with easy access to the nearby Victoria station. No frills but the basics done well.

Although the staff were good and friendly the hotel is a bit dated and needs a makeover,breakfast was very very poor with the amount we paid for rooms a quality substantial hot breakfast would of been expected and not the cereals,toast and a yogurt we were offered not very good at all.

Convenient location and surprisingly quiet! Room clean, but at the very top of the building with no lift. The blurb does point out "no lift". But it was horribly stuffy and hot, even with tbe fan going throughout the night. The man who checked us in was helpful and friendly. This is in contrast to the staff serving breakfast the following morning. There were several problems with the breakfast: 1 Absolutely no concession for gluten free guests. Nothing. 2 No fresh or tinned fruit to eat INSTEAD of glutinous bread. 3 No choice of toast types, just white. When I queried and asked for brown bread the reply was, "we only have white." So we both ended up with yoghurt and coffee for breakfast, and left the four slices of white toast on the table. Moral of the story: if you have dietary needs don't thiink you’ll be eating breakfast there.

Great little spot in the middle of London. Very nice staff, clean rooms, new clean bathroom. The beds where a little hard and the room was small, but we where only there to sleep in the night so it didnt really matter. We didnt expect this but everyday when we had been out and about, the room had been cleaned and the beds made. The breakfast where there but nothing to brag about, and the room to eat it where very tiny and we had to wait until there was room for us to come in and eat 😅 But all in all we had a great time there and would gladly come again (but would eat breakfast out)

I liked the large family room- a double bed and 3 single beds. It's hard to find something for a family traveling with 3 kids. Only problem was that the room smelled when we arrived. Breakfast was basic, but good: toasted white bread, jam, cereal, milk, tea, coffee, yoghurt. Location is great.

The Dover Hotel was clean and comfortable, all the staff were friendly and jolly. I would not class the Breakfast as continental as it was cereals, toast and a yougart no fruits or pastries.

Great location for all we wanted to do. Bathroom is a bit small, and the sink is in the sleeping area. A little disappointed in the breakfast offerings. Staff was polite and helpful.

Room was serviceable and what you’d expect for the money. Gentleman at front desk was great and made wonderful recommendations for local restaurants. The “continental breakfast” was extremely disappointing. Stale cereal or one slice of toast per person and some warm yogurt. No fruit or anything else.

Small room but it all works well. Room with double bed but still space to put your case. The wall mounted fan and coffee maker appreciated. Very small bathroom but just big enough. The location is good, the staff is friendly, but I definitely didn't like the cleaning of the room, the condition of the carpets, etc. The room was also really hot inside.
