We loved our stay at the Egerton House Hotel. The staff were super friendly and provided us with directions and advice. We enjoyed the afternoon tea and the evening bar service in the lounge. We felt very well taken care of and would highly recommend this hotel!

Ben, the Concierge, was so professional, friendly, cheerful, helpful and so informative upon check in, He was ready to answer any questions I had regarding traveling the train via Paddington station and assisting with making dinner reservations The hotel is quaint, beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations and the wam lit fireplace at the entry is such a cozy touch. I would highly recommend this boutique like hotel

Upon arrival, the property is elegantly beautifully displayed with gorgeous flower arrangements covering the entire entrance to the hotel. The lobby and drawing/dining room and bar is immaculate. The room stayed in is breath taking as you enter and spotless. The service by all employees is professionally top notch and completely helpful and polite. Highly recommended to anyone and most definitely will return!

Much enjoyed it. Great place. Fabulous location. Chic. the only thing that could be improved is that the breakfast room in the basement is rather pokey and dark. The good news is that you don’t need to go there, they can bring you breakfast in the bar area on the left as you walk in, which is far nicer!

This property is located in a great area of London (Kensington) in a posh neighborhood with lots of dining and shopping options as well as located close to great museums. Although the rooms are small, they are comfortable. The public spaces are great and the staff is wonderful. Our only recommendation is to configure the bathrooms to more convenient for placing personal items, including a spot to hang up wet towels.

10/10 would stay again. The service was amazing, it was spotless, the bedding luxurious, and fantastic location! Thoughtful touches (homemade shortbread every night with turndown service, an anniversary dessert brought to us, etc) made the stay extra special. Just book it!

The staff was impeccable from the moment we walked in to the moment we departed! The hotel is easily accessible to many main points of interest. It was quiet, very clean and they took even the smallest details and made them special. The homemade shortbread upon arrival to the ginger shot at breakfast to help give you a boost of energy before your day. My daughter and I loved every moment of our stay! We cannot recommend a better stay while visiting London!

Unfortunately, this hotel didn't live up to expectations on any front. The staff were lovely, that's the only positive. The room was tiny, and the bed not wonderfully comfortable. the room service food was really quite poor and lacked the key ingredients in the dish.

I would like to make a few suggestions to improve on theEgerton - but wait, I have none!!! The upgrades are clearly worthy. We are, and will be, repeat guests. The Egerton is discreetly and strategically placed in a quiet, pleasant walking neighborhood but steps away from the hubbub of busy streets. The staff are without exception competent and so very pleasant. Also, your clientele have all been so nice with whom to share pleasantries. The furnishings and fixtures are modern and of the highest quality. The beds and bedding are so refreshing after a hard day of ‘museum-ing’ and shopping. A special thank you to your interior designer, whose presence and tastes are warm but as formal as we expect. Thank you thank you thank you, Tom and Pam Roadley Siesta Key, Florida USA

We arrived early for check in, our room was not available but the staff were friendly and we had a relaxing drink in the lounge before heading out to check in on our return. Our queen room was decorated beautifully, though the bathroom felt cramped. The shower was frustrating as it’s above the bath and not high enough- I had to duck to get fully under. The bed was adequate but not comfortable, too many people may have sat on the side which meant the mattress felt sloped towards the edge when you lay on it. Unfortunately, our nights sleep was compromised as the rooms heating system was faulty, the room was set at 20C but got hotter and hotter, waking us up in sweats in the middle of the night. Not what you expect in January. When I reported this to reception they didn’t appear to care, I’d already paid upfront and was checking out that day. The hotels location is fantastic for Knightsbridge, just far enough back off the main road to lose the traffic noise. Loads to see and do within easy walking distance. Maybe we were unlucky with our room, though for the amount paid we were left feeling disappointed.

Very nice and well managed hotel in a good location. We booked a double room and were surprised to have a room with a very narrow double bed: too small for 2 people. We had to pay GBP50 per night (a discounted rate we were told) to upgrade to a room with a queen size bed and were not offered a free upgrade.

Just finished our 5th stay at the Egerton. While this boutique hotel is beautiful, it’s the wonderful staff that keep us coming back. They are warm and always eager to share recommendations and make arrangements in order to make our stay memorable. We also love the location as it is on a quiet street and a short walk to South Kensington station. It’s also just a 3 minute walk to the V & A, which always has an interesting special exhibitions in addition to their permanent exhibits. The rooms are a uniquely decorated but are all beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds. It is also a very quiet hotel so I know I’ll get a good nights sleep. I look forward to returning to the Egerton the next time I visit London.

Every part of our stay exceeded expectations. The service especially was outstanding, and we found all the staff so helpful, accommodating, and thoughtful. When we checked out, we mentioned in passing that we would be in Oxford later in our trip. A few hours later, we were surprised to get a personal email from this staff member, who had previously lived in Oxford. She kindly shared some of her favorite spots to visit there, places we might otherwise miss. So thoughtful! And that was just one of several wonderful interactions with the Egerton staff. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

From the day of booking our reservation the customer service was exceptional. In the weeks leading up to our arrival the staff continued to maintain contact and offer assistance in making reservations for our visit. The customer service continued throughout our visit. Unfortunately, our nights sleep was compromised as the rooms heating system was faulty, the room was set at 20C but got hotter and hotter, waking us up in sweats in the middle of the night. Not what you expect in January. When I reported this to reception they didn’t appear to care, I’d already paid upfront and was checking out that day. The hotels location is fantastic for Knightsbridge, just far enough back off the main road to lose the traffic noise. Loads to see and do within easy walking distance. Maybe we were unlucky with our room, though for the amount paid we were left feeling disappointed.

Just finished our 5th stay at the Egerton. While this boutique hotel is beautiful, it’s the wonderful staff that keep us coming back. They are warm and always eager to share recommendations and make arrangements in order to make our stay memorable. We also love the location as it is on a quiet street and a short walk to South Kensington station. It’s also just a 3 minute walk to the V & A, which always has an interesting special exhibitions in addition to their permanent exhibits. The rooms are a uniquely decorated but are all beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds. It is also a very quiet hotel so I know I’ll get a good nights sleep. I look forward to returning to the Egerton the next time I visit London.

As shown in the pictures, the hotel itself is so beautiful and staffs are kind. I spent an elegant and luxurious time. The location is super good, 5minutes walk to two famous museums, 5 minutes walk to Harros, 10 minutes walk to underground which has two main lines (Circle line and Piccadilly line), 40 minutes underground to the airport without transportation. Also, the hotel is in the high-class residential area, so the buildings around the hotel are very beautiful. The hotel is also near to main sightseeing spots! (30 minutes walk or 10-15 minutes underground)

Much enjoyed it. Great place. Fabulous location. Chic. the only thing that could be improved is that the breakfast room in the basement is rather pokey and dark. The good news is that you don’t need to go there, they can bring you breakfast in the bar area on the left as you walk in, which is far nicer!

Excellent service from the moment we entered the hotel. Everyone at the front desk always made us feel welcome and comfortable like we were their only guest. The room was elegant, clean and cozy and we had everything we needed. Hands down one of the BEST hotel experiences ever. The staff, especially MARK, was incredibly. The food was unbelievable. The afternoon tea, scones, breakfast, fish and chips at this hotel was so good. I would go back to London just to stay here again.

The service was insanely good like being in a movie. The afternoon tea and canopes were outrageously good. Its nice when you pay for something expensive and actually get what you pay for. The opposite to the pervasive dubai/salt bae/balenciaga culture that is everywhere these days.
