Stayed here a few times before the renovation. Definitely like the upgrades in colour and decor. Bathroom is pretty large considering. There used to be breakfast option but not anymore. But would still prefer to stay here

Clean spacious room, reception manned 24/7. We stayed here before using the Eurostar, the terminal is only a 5 minute walk away. There are shops, restaurants and excellent transport links on the doorstep. We would 100% stay here again rather than use a large chain hotel.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is located just a 5-minute walk from King's Cross Station and St. Pancras Station. I arrived at Gatwick Airport late at night and wanted to go to central London, so I was looking for a hotel close to the station. Since I only stayed there for a short time and just wanted to sleep, this hotel was perfect for my requirements as it was inexpensive. The room was clean and very functional. The only drawback was that I had to go down a steep staircase from the front desk to my room, which was difficult to do with a large suitcase.

Great hotel conveniently located close to Kings Cross station to access the tube. Clean and comfortable room. Only difficulty is there is no lift and the staircase is very narrow when lugging your bags to your room. Otherwise, we would definitely stay again if we ever plan to return.

Excellent place to stay on your way to St. Pancras International. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay, very easy access to transportation. They also store your luggage after check out so you can visit places without any hassle.

A really good, reasonably-priced option near King's Cross. Room was spotlessly clean and reception staff very helpful. Reception is 24 hour which is helpful for later arrival or enquiries. The room (single room) had a decent size bed, but the room itself was tiny - not a problem in itself but there was nowhere to put a suitcase! This was just a minor inconvenience though and I would certainly recommend this hotel and stay again. Even though my room was on the ground floor it was quiet.

Nice little room only hotel with very friendly staff on duty 24 hrs. Close to King Cross and St Pancras stations and not far from Coal Drops Yard with lots of places to eat or drink. There is no lift in this accommodation and if you’re in a 4th floor room it’s a bit of a climb, particularly with luggage. Rooms were clean and tidy with a lovely little wet room. Nice and quiet and would definitely use this hotel again.

My room was small but perfectly equipped. I was able to open the window wider than a couple of inches which was great. I was at thd back if the building so it was very quiet. The shower was amazing. The staff were very helpful and made sure I had a downstairs room as I have mobility issues. They organised a taxi for me. An excellent night's sleep and I'll use this hotel again.

The hotel itself is very nice, but the walls are so thin that the room above us had a shower at 1am and woke us up, and every 12 seconds a train from the underground goes pass so if you like it quite to get to sleep then room C02 is definitely not one to have. Such a shame as the hotel is very well presented

Close to St Pancras and Euston stations. 10 minute walk. Room was small but comfortable and the shower was great. We had a front basement room which I would not recommend because there was a lot of noise throughout the evening. It didn’t help that the temperature had been 25C so we needed the window open.

Booked a single room and boy is it small. Either you or your suitcase can fit on the floor next to the bed, but not both. Bathroom is microscopic with a wet room floor so keep the toilet paper away from the shower if you can

The wonderful Lina helped me with my esim and made me feel so welcome. The chap on checkout was super helpful too. Such a nice quiet location, yet so close to st pancreas and an amazing french bakery around the corner. Look forward to my next stay.

Clean and tidy room within walking distance of Kings Cross and Euston Station. Good value for money. Some members of staff very friendly and helpful. Only problem found was my sister was recovering from a broken ankle so was in a moon boot and using a walking stick. We were originally placed on the third floor, but asked if we could change and the woman behind reception found us a room on the ground floor however , this is still difficult at times for my sister to access due to a step in the bathroom and a very tight squeeze to get in. I would highly recommend this hotel for a clean comfortable stay in a great location, but just to be aware, it is not easily accessible for some.

Booked a single room on Expedia at about 6pm on the same day. Arrived about midnight with a flat phone battery and they had no record of my booking. Had to charge my battery at reception to get my email to prove I had booked. Then told they had no rooms left. Eventually, after some discussion, they gave me a quadruple room for the night. After that the my night was ok, but I wouldn't risk booking here again.

The hotel is basic. Floorboards in my room squeaked constantly no matter how hard I tried to avoid creaking them. I knew the people in the next room would hear the noise, as the walls are so thin, I could hear them talking in their room. My room was tiny (although to be fair, I had chosen a single bed room as I was only there for one night before flying out). PS don’t expect a friendly welcome at reception on arrival. You’ll be lucky if you get a few mumbled words when receiving your room key.

We liked the desk staff, who were friendly, relaxed and helpful. The room was quite small, clean, tidy and all we needed for our overnight (we only used it to shower and sleep). TV worked, there was a kettle/coffee/tea, a safe and a fan, as it was hot when we visited. Bed was clean and very comfy. We were able to drop off bags before check-in and after check-out, which was invaluable. We liked the location and enjoyed the small park opposite - basketball players were impressive.

The hotel was excellent in terms of location close to Kings Cross and St. Pancras and the availability of dining options in the neighborhood. It was perfect for an overnight stay before getting an early morning train the next day to Paris. My only fault would be that my room was quite noisy at times. Being a solo traveler my room was in the basement( not uncommon in London hotels) and during the afternoon, after I had been traveling and wanted to take a nap, I was constantly awakened by doors slamming and staff talking in the corridor. Late in the evening I was kept awake by loud conversations maybe in other rooms or in a nearby building.

Really convenient location as we were catching Eurostar the next morning Lovely clean room and bathroom The only downside is the noise from the street but it’s not too bad unless you need to have the window open

An easy location to get to from Euston and st pancreas stations. Friendly staff and clean quiet room. Would stay again but hopefully not on the fourth floor with cases!

Receptionist was very helpful & suggested where i might like to go to eat in the evening. It was very noisy overnight however, and at present seems to be in the middle of a building site!!

The hotel was excellent in terms of location close to Kings Cross and St. Pancras and the availability of dining options in the neighborhood. It was perfect for an overnight stay before getting an early morning train the next day to Paris. My only fault would be that my room was quite noisy at times. Being a solo traveler my room was in the basement( not uncommon in London hotels) and during the afternoon, after I had been traveling and wanted to take a nap, I was constantly awakened by doors slamming and staff talking in the corridor. Late in the evening I was kept awake by loud conversations maybe in other rooms or in a nearby building.

Stayed here a few times before the renovation. Definitely like the upgrades in colour and decor. Bathroom is pretty large considering. There used to be breakfast option but not anymore. But would still prefer to stay here

This newly renovated Boutique Hotel was an excellent option for my recent work trip to a business just outside of Saint Pancras and Kings Cross Station. I was able to quickly and easily grab breakfast each morning at the stations across the street, and it was a short walk to sleep each night safely as the area was good. Because you'll leave your key at the front desk for safe keeping, there's one less item to have to carry around all day or worry about. And this hotel is safe. One way in and out for guests with 24/7 manned desk attendant... I noticed other hotels in the area had men lingering outside... This one does not! It is quiet and safe, from my personal experience! I would plan to stay here again in the future for sure. 👍👍👍

Great value for money and very good location for my needs. Property well presented, clean and great facilities. WiFi spot on. Shower was very good with good pressure and temperature. No breakfast at this property, which I was aware of, as it suited my requirements. Plenty of eateries on the door step anyway! Staff were very helpful and efficient. Thanks for a very pleasurable stay. I'll be back 👍😁

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and tidy with nice shower. Couple of mins walk from King’s Cross station so good for exploring London. Pubs and restaurants nearby are within a short walk, Skinners Arms is well worth a visit.

Howard Winchester (HW) is my preferred vacation hotel in London. I have stayed there several times before. As most hotels in London the building is old, but HW is well maintained and the in-room facilities are up-to-date. I stayed four nights in July and the weather was hot and dry. The hotel does not have A/C, but of course I knew that already. However, a new low noise cooling fan had been installed in my room, that worked fine. Bottled water available for free at the reception, which is open 24/7. Reception staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel has no facilities like bar or restaurant - just so you know - but hundreds of options in the area around King's Cross. I will definitely come back for my next vacation in London.
