This is a great hotel for friendliness and service. We went as a couple and the initial check in and welcome was superb. Glen at check in was so user friendly and prepared to give you all the time you needed. Same for others at the door and on reception. Butler service is either your thing or not but it adds a certain something. However we did not use it that much. Great Spa and we were upgraded to a room with a view which was thoughtful. Nice Library bar for a drink in the evenings and good cocktails. Superbly maintained and plush/clean. You can't go wrong with this place but in this budget it is competing with some great hotels and whilst the service is tough to beat the room offering at others is better (space etc). It depends on what you want... Would I come again? yes definitely BUT it doesn't stop me wanting to look at other options as from certain perspectives they have the upper hand - price becomes key given the pros and cons

The butler service is outstanding. Additionally I love the quaintness of the bar and even when sitting alone, everyone is attentive and makes you feel appreciated and comfortable. All staff are friendly and highly professional. For the vintage "English" feeling, stay at the Lanesborough. Next time I\'ll visit the spa and pool.

This hotel is exceptional - from the quality of the beautiful interiors, the many dining and bar options and the wonderful service. They make guests feel extremely welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Great service, excellent facilities but room didn’t match descriptions at confirmed reservation. Promised Hide Park view and was given a wall in front of window. I could have saved approximately $500 if I knew a view would not be available.

Great hotel. Expensive but quality and worth the money. Spa is fabulous but a shame the sauna/steam rooms are not mixed male and female. Location is good, particularly for Chelsea flower show and Harrods

My stay at the Lanesborough was wonderful. The concierge staff was very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond my expectations. The same goes for the butler service which thoughtfully anticipated my needs. The hotel itself was beautiful and immaculate. Check in and check out was a pleasure. Overall, I felt right at home.

The Lanesborough is an exceptional hotel and having stayed at many 5 star hotels, including The Dorchester and The Ritz, this hotel tops them all. The hotel is immaculate and the staff welcome you as one of their family. Cannot wait to be back there next month.

This was our first stay at The Lanesborough although we have eaten here on several occasions. We can only say that this hotel makes The Ritz look 3 Stars. The rooms, staff and service were incredible and we cannot wait to be back for Xmas. We might even fit in an additional visit as it was so good.

We stayed for the Xmas period and had all our celebration meals in The Lanesborough Grill. Everything and everyone was fantastic, it has to be the best hotel in London. It certainly is a step up from The Dorchester, Ritz and Savoy. It was so good we are already booking stays for 2023, including Xmas again.

Amazing two-night stay at The Lanesborough. The staff are exceptionally accommodating, warm, and genuinely hospitable, always going above and beyond to make you feel like a valued guest. They remember your name, your preferences, and all the little details that truly elevated our experience. In my opinion, The Lanesborough sets a standard of luxury that goes beyond many other top-tier hotels like The Dorchester, Mandarin Oriental, The Ritz, Four seasons, amongst others. Even among the finest hotels mentioned, the staff (and property) both offer a level of attention and refinement that is rarely matched. Having stayed in numerous luxury hotels both in London and internationally, I can honestly say that The Lanesborough has raised my expectations of what true luxury hospitality should be. We had a dedicated butler for our room and was also kindly upgraded to the Executive king room overlooking Hyde Park. A special mention to customer relations lady, Zita. Zita was key in making our stay and experience at The Lanesborough so memorable. Zita also had a special talent in training cats, what more getting 'The hotel Boss' Lilibet, in giving her paws for a treat! 😂 Thank you to Zita, our Butler and all staff there for making our stay memorable. We will 100% be back soon.

Very attentive and friendly staff, from the moment you arrive at the front door, to check in, and throughout the restaurants/bars & spa areas. Great gym and spa area (sauna and steams are separate Male/Female areas). My only small comment would be the lack of signs for directions to and from the Spa area, as it’s quite a rabbit warren to find it. Would definitely recommend and will return in the not too distant future.
