Lifts are being upgraded so not all were working but the wait for a lift was never long. Room was comfortable with all amenities provided. A bonus was some dedicated sports channels on tv. The breakfast was average. The hotel is very conveniently situated with a tube station 100 metres away and multiple bars and restaurants being within walking distance.

The hotel is next to Gloucester Road metro station. This is important as the traffic congestion in London is worse every year Save yourself from traffic and use the tube/metro. The hotel is a business hotel with a workable fitness room. Ceiling in the fitness room is a little low for anyone wanting to use the treadmill. You are in walking distance to Natural History museum. Across the street is a grocery store , where I would go as one cannot eat fish and chips daily.

Staff were fantastic and very helpful. The bar food was very poor, came out cold and had to be replaced. So wife had her salad before I even got started. And it wasn’t great. People walking around the corridor and shouting, slamming doors at 3am. No consideration for anyone else. Breakfasts were good although plates not hot. We will not be staying at this hotel again. It is not good value for money

Check in was initially slow as there seemed to be issues with the people in front of us but once we got up to the desk our check in was quick and easy. Staff were polite and we were able to drop our bags off before we checked in and after checking out. Room was clean and bed and sofa bed comfortable. Bathroom was clean but in need of some updating. Enjoyed food and drinks in Humphreys Bar. Our only issue was on our last night the men in the next room were extremely noisy and seemed to be moving furniture around which was very odd but this was obviously not the hotel's fault and we didn't bother to complain as we were checking out the next day. Perfect position as only a couple of minutes from tube station. Would stay here again.

This is a nice hotel, and the beds are amazing. But really, instant coffee in the room is for me no longer acceptable. Even in the Travelodge I stayed in earlier in the week, there was a Lava,zo machine. And closing the hotel bar at 22.30, whereas the place was buzzing - what is that all about? I had expected better.

We did not use any facilities and did not have breakfast. We arrived at 8 pm and left at 8 am the next day. The hotel was adequate but the parking charge was extortionate. We paid £50 for 12 hours parking. Never again

Somewhat dated hotel. Very dirty with fingerprints and dirty elevators, doors, etc. Baggage staff was friendly and helpful was the only bright spot. We had arrived from our cruise too early to check in and we told them we were going to go on a hop on and off bus tour followed by a Jack the Ripper night tour and would return around 9 PM. The bell staff gave us a receipt for our baggage and we went on our way for a tour. We assumed that when the room was ready, they would bring the baggage up to the room for us. One movie turned at 9 PM theChecking in experience with horrendous. We had pre-paid for the hotel portion and had responded to email solicitations to add on additional features at a reduced rate. Specifically, a buffet breakfast for reduced price and upon arrival they claimed it wasn’t on there so they ended up charging us an additional50 pounds for a breakfast buffet that turned out to be completely terrible with very few edible items, a total waste of money.. I also had checked the box to pre-pay for a bottle of sparkling water, regular water, and a fruit platter upon arrival. after 20 minute negotiation, it was decided that they could not make a fruit platter at that point so I had to go down the block to purchase water. The bar closed early, so we also had to leave the premises to go get a cocktail across the street ... So, in summation this hotel is outdated, not maintained particularly well, needs a good sanitary cleaning and needs to be managed better

Location is fantastic. Less than a minute from the Tube Stn. Cleanliness of the room was very bad, the lady who was taking care of our room does not speak nor understand English. Never supplied us with tissue papers, floor always dirty. No body lotion supply. We had to ask at the reception to provide us with such things plus water bottles. The breakfast is very good for two consecutive days but if you are staying more days then you will get fed up for what they provide. We stayed one week the breakfast was the same 100%, nothing changed at all to the extent that you can’t even smell the food that is there. Everything else was very good, the staff very helpful, the location is perfect. In general I recommend this hotel basically for its location.

The cleanliness was not good. Very dusty in our room. The bathroom had 3 moths on the towels. When we had a shower the water ran down the bath across the bathroom floor. The bed was fine but the decor needed an update. Looked tired for a 4 star hotel. Good location. I told the hotel of the issues but nothing said except they would tell housekeeping.

Check-in was extremely poor and took a very long time for all guests. The room had unpleasant odors due to the very old carpet. The bathroom cleanliness was unacceptable. Upon receiving the room, there was urine on the floor, and the floor itself was dirty and sticky. We had to call the front desk to have it cleaned in front of us. There were also leftover drinks in the minibar from previous guests that had not been removed. Housekeeping does not even clean the bathroom trash bin during daily service. I believe the hotel management has seriously deteriorated. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is its location. I will definitely never stay here again.

The entire forth floor smelled of mold and my room had visible mold on the bathroom walls and the curtains. Changed to a room on the fifth floor which was mold free but very worn down. Staff was very friendly but would not recommend staying here.

Great location, but this hotel is aging and could use some renovations. The bathroom tub was extremely high and presented a trip hazard especially for more senior people. The room was clean and relatively quiet. Location was superb as it was only minutes to the Gloucester Road Tube station.

Great location, impressive front foyer, comfortable bed and good breakfast. The room was a little tired, and as it a Club room, im not sure what the ordinary rooms would be like?? There's was a portable air conditioning unit in the room, which completely obstructed the use of the work desk, and it was vented out through the only window, with a bucket to catch water, which is not good from a health and safety issue! There is not double glazing either, which made the room noisy.

The rooms are hit or miss. This time it was a miss. I stay here for the location - a minute from the Gloucester Road tube stop, which has 3 subway lines (one of them direct to Heathrow airport) supermarkets, plenty of places to eat - all within within minutes. The room is was assigned (239) was not at a 4-star hotel level. Just getting off the elevator, the hallway smelled of mildew. The security chain on the door didn't work. There are no light switches or outlets to charge your devices near the bed. The furnishings look old and dated. The full-length mirror is in a barely-lit cubbyhole where the closet is. The view was non-existent. For a guest staying one night, it probably wouldn't matter. Even doing the online check-in prior to my arrival (which did not save any time at check-in) did not help secure a decent room for a repeat customer. This room needs some updates.

Great location, the Gloucester Rd station tube is 2 minutes away. Room is large and clean. Bathroom is small and if you have mobility issues it might be a challenge to get in and out of the tub to shower. The tub is 2ft high step in, I’m 5’6” and found it hard to get in and out. Do use the handrail. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.

Room was clean and bed comfortable. However, really disappointingly, the windows were not soundproofed at all. Kept getting woken up by people chatting outside below (outside Grosvenor Casino). Not ideal before venturing on a 6+ hour car journey the following day. Unfortunately at checkout I wasn't asked how my stay was, just a token 'thank you for checking out' with a smile.

Staff at the Millennium were very welcoming and accommodating. The room was of a good size, and quiet; the bedding quite comfortable; internet quick and free; and the TV featured many varied channels. The only downsides were that the heat wasn’t working properly in our room and the water pressure for the shower was low. To be fair, we weren’t overly bothered by these shortcomings and didn’t report them during our stay; nor did we request a room change as we weren’t all that uncomfortable.

The hotel was excellent and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Any questions we had were promptly answered or dealt with. We will definitely stay here again. On the reception Nefmi and Arushi went out of their way to help us and it was very much appreciated.

Had very embarassing incident when leaving. Despite all payments made by me and correct the staff said I still owed money. I told them all was correct but they did not agree and we nearly missed our train because of this. I think I am owed compensation for the delay and being held back from leaving the hotel.

Unfortunately the do not disturb button was right beside washroom and main lights. When we went out for the day we had no room service. When we went out for evening we talked to front desk who assured us they would service the room in our absence even if no disturb switch was on. Upon our return a few hours later still no service so I had to call again. They came at 10:00 pm to service room.

The air conditioner was not working in our room. A portable one was set up with the exhaust hose stuck out of the open window. As much money as I paid for the room I should have been moved to a different one. Because we were exposed to the night air and exhaust, both my daughter and myself got sick. Also, we ordered room service which after an hour was not delivered. I called to check and the online order system wasn’t working and never received it. We eventually got food brought to our room. Not sure I would stay at this hotel again

The staff member at the desk was so unpleasant, rude and antisocial. I booked a breakfast board and he tried to say i did not have breakfast booked, even though it was on my confirmation. The room I was given was in a corner so far away from the elevators, had weird equipment in it like a massive box thing which had no use. The window was also so cheap and unstable, I could hear absolutely everything from outside even though the window and curtains were shut and the bed was on the other side. The window would also literally shake every time a vehicle drove past, i got no sleep at all. Such a bad experience, I will NEVER stay here again

I stayed here for four nights before leaving on a cruise. The entire staff was absolutely wonderful. I changed rooms after one night (my request for a mobilityaccessible room) and the front desk and luggage storage person were great about keeping me informed about when I could occupy the new room, even rushing the availability for me. The bar service was quick and attentive, not always the case when traveling solo. Breakfast buffet options were good. The concierge, Daniel, was wonderful. He was so helpful with my questions on my second day and for the next two days made a point to seek me out in the lobby to make sure all was well. Location is good, close to Gloucester station, and Waitrose Market and Boots Pharmacy are just across the street. It is close to a Hop On Hop Off bus stop as well, so this was convenient. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. I have stayed at other Millennium Hotels and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend Millennium Gloucester for a stay in London.

Located right beside the Gloucester Road Tube Station. The Lobby area and reception at the door was very nice, everything you expect from a a Hotel like this. We were very comfortable in the room, bedding was comfortable and the AC worked well. The room was quite large and even had a sofa and a desk. It was a good value for what we paid and we would stay there again. The room condition however was beginning to look a little tired and needed a proper carpet cleaning and a coat of paint. The bathroom floor instead of tile as was on the walls was linoleum which was lifting, the tissue dispenser stayed empty. I really hope that it gets the attention it deserves.

The hotel was nice, good and responsive staff, good room.Hover breakfast good be improved.On particular the situation when large groups of youngsters (school) arrive at the same time.Also coffee was a problem with effective slow machines and consequently long queues

I chose this hotel because I met my parents here once when they stayed during a tour. The location cannot be beat. (The only challenge is that if you have suitcases, Gloucester Road station is not the most convenient with its stairs.) Look, this basically your average Euro 3/4 star. The hotel is older, but well maintained. Breakfast is expensive, but there are cafes immediately across the street. The service is fantastic - Cathy helped me quite a bit and I'm grateful. And my room was very quiet, which I appreciated after long days. Definitely my go-to place when I'm in London.

We enjoyed our stay! It's a really good facility though in need of a bit of a freshening up. Dining room was nice, breakfast fantastic, lobby is nice, hallways are lovely & fresh, but our room needed a bit of love. mirror was a bit faded/tough to see ourselves in, and a few dings here and there in the room. bed was VERY VERY comfy. Pretty sure they've upgraded them very recently. Main thing to remember is that the price is bang on for the facility. The location is FANTASTIC! I'd stay again.
