Check in details was sent by email and whatsapp before u check in at 3pm. Pin code also given for u to access Hotel lobby door and room door. Fast, Easy & seamless check in. Check out also done via Whatsapp link. The hotel location is great, short walk to London SOHO area. Underground train station and bus stop also nearby. No issue to find fast food and restaurants. There are few halal Chinese/ middle east food restaurants. Hotel room cleaniness is good. Maybe the hotel is new, Uber driver's mobile phone gps app unable to find hotel location so Uber driver will alight u few units away, based on hotel address. Will definitely recommend numa bloomsbury hotel to my friends & colleagues.

This hotel is just so easy to book, checkin, and enjoy. Its location is pretty perfect for central London, being just minutes away from Oxford St and also the underground. No reception to hinder you, purely electronic checkin Bag store in the basement. No food, but next door to Gail’s bakery. Show your reservation and get 30% off your bill. Highly recommend this hotel

As someone who travels a lot I have gotten used to having a staff present at a hotel. Although at times live staff are not always helpful at least they are there. Numa has no live staff. You rely on AI generated text messages as your primary way of communicating. I was able to finally get a live staff member on text but it was time consuming. This hotel is all automated. So be ready for that. The room was nice. Bed comfy. No real complaints outside no live people to talk to. I would stay here again now that I know. Plus it’s close and walkable to everything!

I'm going to start off with my complaint, then go to my compliments. Complaint -- We had room 202 with a bathtub/shower combo. The bathtub is one of those elevated ones that sit about 4-5 inches above floor height. The floor of the bathtub was very slippery and there was no anti-slip mat/coating. And there was no grab bar or anything to grab onto when exiting the shower/tub except the thin glass plate on the side of the tub used to keep the water from splashing around the room. Compliments -- The hotel was in a perfect location for us. It's a 5 minute or so walk from the Tottenham Court Underground. It's a short distance from the British Museum. There are cafes and stores within a few minute walk. The place was extremely clean, the lobby, staircase, and room. Surfaces without dust, nothing on the carpet -- really nice. The hotel is quiet. It seems all the noise, inside and out ends at about 10:00 pm. Ammenities -- They have a Nespresso machine in the lobby and rooms with capsules provided. There's a discount for food and coffee purchased at the bakery next door. They have ONSITE, FREE, luggage storage which makes all the difference when you arrive hours before your room is ready or you are leaving hours after checkout. It was really perfect for us with the one exception of exiting the shower. We will stay here again

The location is amazing, very central to everything and with surprisingly large rooms for this price point in London. The way they make that possible is by not providing housekeeping by default and not having a traditional front desk. Instead, everything is arranged via What's App and email and you could easily go through a stay here without seeing anyone. This makes it a love it or hate it kind of place but for us, it was perfect! We rarely need to interact with the hotel staff and are very low-maintenance guests, so we didn't want anything besides a comfortable and secure room, which this provided. We did talk to the one on-site person a few times and they were always friendly and helpful. The good cafe next door and the pub on the corner were also nice pluses. Big thumbs up and we'd definitely stay there again!

The property is in an ok location. The room is basic but clean and comfortable. They do provide an essentials closet for towels, toilet paper, etc. the luggage storage is useful, if there is space. Definitely recommend to travel light. We had one question and the staff was very friendly and responded quickly.

We stayed at the Numa for seven nights in a medium room, which is probably a longer stay for this hotel. I am The pros: The hotel offers room servicing every seven days and we should have organized a special service half way through our stay - the towels and bathroom were pretty grubby by the end.

Good location, large enough room for London, value for money! Well renovated! Since its concept is contactless, there’s not much of human services that can be found and the provided info is somewhat vague so that we need to talk to the ai chat first which will be redirected to a person, in a while. Minus factors: - no cleaning for a week, though the toilet started smelling on my 2nd day (meaning the previous cleaning wasn’t dine properly?) and also found dried food remains on the table. - facility maintenance: blinder string needs fixing stuck at some point and cannot be opened -shower curtain: doesnot reach the floor and easily flood! Urrrgh!

Good hotel in a central area of London with easy access to the Underground station at Tottenham Court Road. The room was spacious and comfortable but was let down by housekeeping. Beds weren't made and towels weren't replaced in the bathroom which for 4* accommodation at this price was disappointing. Gail's cafe and bakery next door give 30% discount if you're staying at Numa and the breakfast there can be highly recommended.

Great location right near British Museum, and Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street stations. Hotel was clean, room small but functional. Staff very responsive via WhatsApp. Unique in that you check yourself in online and enter via pin-code. We had no issues. Very nice bakery next door - get 30% discount as Numa hotel guest.

Our experience was truly wonderful! Check-in was super easy, and the room was ready an hour earlier than expected. The room itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had every necessary comfort. Everything worked perfectly—lights, water, fridge, hairdryer, and coffee machine. The shampoo and shower gel provided were high quality with an incredible and long-lasting scent. There was no noise from other guests, and the hotel was in an excellent central location. Access to the “essentials closet” was also very straightforward. The (free!) locker service was incredibly useful—it allowed us to explore the city both on the day we arrived and the day we left. We also used the restrooms on level -1, which are available to all guests, and they were extremely clean and tidy. We took advantage of the Gail’s discount too, which was very easy to use, and the food we bought there was genuinely delicious. The value for money was outstanding. We’ll definitely be coming back, because we had such a great experience! (We’ve both been to London around 30 times, so we’ve seen plenty of hotels—this one truly stood out!)

No instruction on how to control the shower water and the AC did not adjust when it changed the temperature. The bath tub showed signs of soap scum that is hard to remove but should have been scrubbed clean. The location was great with a comfortable bed, refrigerator, and USB charge ports at bedside.

If you are a light sleeper or like to sleep in, I’d probably suggest elsewhere. The creaking and banging from the level above was almost unbearable. Our hand towel holder broke and the TV didn’t work, both minor issues. The virtual assistant is useless. Otherwise, bed comfort, location, cleanliness, access to the cafe and umbrellas was excellent.

The water in a sink and the shower booth in the bathroom didn’t drain as quickly as it should. It seemed clogged and the water only slow went down. It felt so uncomfortable and inconvenient. Also the room I stayed (203) was so cold even I turn on the AC to the highest. The location was super convenient and easy to access.

Perfect for a short trip in London! The hotel is situated in an incredible location that has lots to offer. Many shopping and dining options. Proximity to the underground is wonderful. My only qualm is that the walls are too thin. I could clearly hear the folks in my adjoining room having a chat.

Fantastic location. Very nice room. Great balcony view from this top floor room. Shower had no water pressure and just trickled out which was quite disappointing. Tried reporting it, but it was just an AI answered response which was underwhelming.

The staff and location were just fine. The rooms are another sorry. Extremely small and inconvenient. The bathroom's layout was, in my opinion a bit inconvenient. Getting in and out of a raised bathtub, in a room which doesn't really have the space for it, seemed a bit dangerous. The sleeping area had a large bed fine for 2, but oversized for the room. Very uncomfortable for two people to move around.
The staff and location were just fine. The rooms are another sorry. Extremely small and inconvenient. The bathroom's layout was, in my opinion a bit inconvenient. Check out also done via Whatsapp link. The hotel location is great, short walk to London SOHO area. Underground train station and bus stop also nearby. No issue to find fast food and restaurants. There was no live support other than a bot that sent me a bogus link. With a no refund policy Hotels.com support is issuing no refund despite their support team being unable to reach the hotel. Great location, easy access from Heathrow. However my check-in was delayed which was rough after a red-eye flight. There was also a water leak in the hallway after rain. Talking to staff via app was sometime difficult and but most issues got resolved.

I was concerned at first when I learned that this is an un-staffed property, but everything went smoothly with check-in, the housekeeping was excellent, the room was fantastic and well appointed, as was the location. I would stay here again.

Amazing stay, simple but effective service. There are basically no people at all at the hotel, only one person that sometimes was sitted at the lounge (in fact he was very friendly and helpful) . Needed assistance and used their WhatsApp, it was amazingly fast and I got all the info I needed. Was even able to have an early checkin through there and they let know this was ready even before I got to the hotel. The place is also very well located. Will definitely be back

The location and the room were excellent. However I could’t turn on the TV and was struggled for a while as there is any staff to ask and chat robot didn’t work well. It was because the cable of the TV was not plugged in and the switch of the power on the wall was not on and hidden by the TV. They should improve the facility management so that I did’t miss the Andy Murray’s doubles match.

As someone who travels a lot I have gotten used to having a staff present at a hotel. Although at times live staff are not always helpful at least they are there. Numa has no live staff. You rely on AI generated text messages as your primary way of communicating. I was able to finally get a live staff member on text but it was time consuming. This hotel is all automated. So be ready for that. The room was nice. Bed comfy. No real complaints outside no live people to talk to. I would stay here again now that I know. Plus it’s close and walkable to everything!

The hotel is well located and convenient to transportation (when it's operating) I had the bad luck to visit during a tube strike, so I ended up relying on buses. Not ideal for getting to all the places I'd planned ro visit. I wish there had been at least one person at check in and check out. I understand the personnel cost savings translate to lower room charges. But this is bit extreme.

Not advertised explicitly enough that this hotel has no staff. No front desk, no anything other than a security guard who had to de facto help check people in because no one was on staff. It’s like an empty digital hotel so good luck if you need anything or have any trouble checking in. The whole 3rd floor and our room smelled of diapers. Like a damp dank spoiled smell. We had to sleep with the window open. The “eco friendliness” is also a joke, you had to flush the toilet 3-4x to get even liquid to go down. Overall it’s a mid quality hotel flip with no staff and a bad smell.

The location is central, however, there is a large construction site just outside of the hotel with tremendous noise that starts early in the morning and goes all day. The rooms are clean but a bit cramped. Be sure they give you the room you booked. The cookies at the reception are very tasty.

Our experience was truly wonderful! Check-in was super easy, and the room was ready an hour earlier than expected. The room itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had every necessary comfort. Everything worked perfectly—lights, water, fridge, hairdryer, and coffee machine. The shampoo and shower gel provided were high quality with an incredible and long-lasting scent. There was no noise from other guests, and the hotel was in an excellent central location. Access to the “essentials closet” was also very straightforward. The (free!) locker service was incredibly useful—it allowed us to explore the city both on the day we arrived and the day we left. We also used the restrooms on level -1, which are available to all guests, and they were extremely clean and tidy. We took advantage of the Gail’s discount too, which was very easy to use, and the food we bought there was genuinely delicious. The value for money was outstanding. We’ll definitely be coming back, because we had such a great experience! (We’ve both been to London around 30 times, so we’ve seen plenty of hotels—this one truly stood out!)

It's a very strange hotel, but I absolutely loved it. It's fully automated, so there are no staff at all that I saw in the building.
