We were supposed to stay at the Pelham, but the water was out in our room. The friendly staff moved us to a sister location which was also beautiful and it was seamless for us. Although we were sad not to stay at the Pelham, the Franklin was gorgeous, and the staff was incredible!!! Justina and Mico were so helpful, friendly, and all staff was helpful and kind. Loved it!

Very friendly staffs, super helpful, you could ask them anything and they always tried to accommodate. Shower water was not hot enough, room temperature was ok. Very convenient location, subway just cross the road, bus stop is in front of the door. Lots of restaurants around within walking distance. Breakfast were delicious, except last two days, the restaurant was under renovation, we were switched to another room and so we did not have many choices.

Warm and friendly staff made my stay very pleasant. Thanks to Asie, Thomas and Gabriel. The Italian restaurant served delicious cuisine and the service was superb. The hotel location. Is hard to beat: proximity to tube station and V&A museum which is my favourite.

The Mews suite was not very accessible with a super steep and curved staircase to get to the room from the alley and it was not connected to the hotel - you had to exit the hotel and go around the side in the alley to find the door to the suite. Cool historical value to stay in former mews but would not recommend if you have a baby or for older guests. Just stay inside the hotel where the staff if lovely and there is a nice lift.

Great location in a converted townhouse. Close to the tube. The room was too small to be really comfortable. The room was nicely decorated. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The breakfast which cost extra was very good.

The Mews was an excellent suite for extra space, very nicely appointed. It is actually at the side of the hotel down a side alleyway and was surprisingly very quiet. our daughter loved the loft area with the second bed, but there are narrow stairs so not for those with mobility issues or very young kids. The staff were very nice and helpful. The stairs to the Mews suite are very narrow so it’s difficult with larger suitcases. Kudos to the staff member who carried our luggage up!! Breakfast was excellent! Upon our arrival some complimentary fruit and Chocolates awaited us which we demolished during our stay. The surrounding area is extremely convenient for food choices, restaurants and access to the Tube and various museums. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Pelham.

Great location but hotel needs some TLC. Room carpet was dirty and stained, shower tub did not drain, lobby is tired. Bed was super comfortable and hotel restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Close to tube. Easy access from Heathrow airport.

The location is ideal and near excellent restaurants. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and informative. The hotel restaurant and overall hotel was clean and the food was tasty and presentation was welcoming. I felt safe and would definitely stay again. Room gave the feeling of royalty.

Service at the hotel was slow in general. But breakfast was appalling, firstly ignored over other guests. Food was slow to arrive, the drinks weren't even delivered - to the point was asked if we wanted more drinks when the first drinks hadn't even arrived. Simple requests like brown sauce took over 15 minutes to arrive and instead brown sauce was given. Orderd a croissant, waited 10 minutes to be told firstly it wasn't put through, then secondly that they ran out. The room was tired. Mould along the bath seal, fabric wallpaper had questionable stains and was worn Spoke to management on check out and was told a refund would be given but it would take time as it was booked via a third party , it's been nearly two months an no refund Definitely not a five star hotel, a very tired four star in need of a refurbishment

Amazed this hotel has a 5* rating. The first room I was given was unclean (hairs in the bath, lipstick on a glass, dust on the bathroom mirror etc), had a broken showerhead and the heating did not work. Staff - with the exception of a wonderful lady on reception - seem inexperienced. Despite the location, I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. Extortionate cost for what was a relatively uncomfortable stay.

Perfect location, charming decor, nice staff, but in need of refurbishment and updating. Shades were broken, bathroom faucets broken and hard to use, general appearance of bathroom run down. Hallways all a bit tired. Chest used as coffee table in red sitting room in lobby has a nasty jagged edge that gave my daughter a frightful gash in her leg. Thomas the concierge was helpful and very Pleasant presence at entrance of hotel.

Great location with a traditional yet fun feel- great art, etc. Tube directly across the street but the area itself a bit quieter which we liked. Bed, linens/towels and pillows all wonderful. Only “complaint” is the room was very small, but that is typical. Overall highly recommend.

We had a great experience. The service was very good and the suite we stayed was nice. In the last two days we moved to a normal room, and it was too small. It was even dificult to open the luggage. The whole team is very nice.

With the exception that the rooms were dark, minor plumbing issues and the difficulty of getting in and out of the shower, everything was to our liking. We had a problem with a canceled flight and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast was very good. We would definitely return, to the Pelham on our next trip to London.

Booked this property looking for a stay in a upscale neighborhood and close to transit. We came in through Heathrow so the Pelham's location far exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was more comfortable than our bed at home. It is a boutique hotel but still with all the expected ammenities. Would absolutely stay again.

The location is phenomenal. Just across the street is the South Kensington tube so you can travel by underground anywhere. The room was spacious and the bed dreamy. The staff were friendly and professional. We would definitely return and highly recommend the Pelham to others as it was recommended to us.

The staff at the Pelham Hotel in Kensington was top notch! Thomas, the concierge, was incredible and went above and beyond. Location is impeccable with tube access across the street, bus access out the front door, and walking distance from many sites and wonderful restaurants

We recently had the pleasure of revisiting this hotel for the second time and it has once again exceeded my expectations. From now on, this hotel will be our top choice whenever we visit London. One of the standout features of this hotel is the exceptional staff. They are incredibly helpful, attentive, and always go the extra mile to ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Their warm hospitality truly sets this hotel apart. During our recent stay, we encountered an unexpected hiccup when the travel cot we had rented from a separate company was delivered broken. The hotel staff immediately stepped in to assist, providing us with a replacement travel cot so that our little one could rest comfortably. Their quick and efficient response to our situation truly saved the day and made our stay stress-free. Their warm hospitality truly sets this hotel apart. During our recent stay, we encountered an unexpected hiccup when the travel cot we had rented from a separate company was delivered broken. The hotel staff immediately stepped in to assist, providing us with a replacement travel cot so that our little one could rest comfortably. Their quick and efficient response to our situation truly saved the day and made our stay stress-free. I’ve marked everything as 5 star but only gave a 4 star review overall . Everything about the hotel is great , staff, location , the room itself was gorgeous. It lost a star because on departure I was met with an invoice for a staff tip! It was optional but still , ive never experienced this in a hotel before and it didn’t make for a nice feeling on departure - bit of a guilt trip! On top of what I’d already paid for the hotel (which was a lot) I think the management should remove this.

I haven’t stayed at the Pelham for several years and the staff and service was fabulous. Anna at the front desk was so nice and helped. Thomas the concierge was amazing. He helped me with which tube to get on as well as walked with us to the train platform so we didn’t need to carry our luggage. He was an amazing asset to the hotel. We will be back!!

Wonderful hotel, except for a few minor issues…the heating system did not provide much heat, the tub drain was slow, and housekeeping was inconsistent. The location is great! Within walking distance of the Natural History Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum, as well as Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. The South Kensington Underground is across the street, making access to downtown and Paddington or Waterloo stations quite easy. It is a 45-minute train ride from Heathrow using the Heathrow Express and Circle Line. The staff is excellent and the property old and charming, though remodeled enough to be up to date. There even was a single U.S. style outlet, which was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff at the Pelham Hotel in Kensington was top notch! Thomas, the concierge, was incredible and went above and beyond. Location is impeccable with tube access across the street, bus access out the front door, and walking distance from many sites and wonderful restaurants

A gem of a hotel; a perfect balance of elegance and casual. Always my favorite place to stay when in London. Plus the location, across from the So. Kensington Tube station, is very handy. Great place for a woman traveling alone; very safe.

Booked this property looking for a stay in a upscale neighborhood and close to transit. We came in through Heathrow so the Pelham's location far exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was more comfortable than our bed at home. It is a boutique hotel but still with all the expected ammenities. Would absolutely stay again.

The location is phenomenal. Just across the street is the South Kensington tube so you can travel by underground anywhere. The room was spacious and the bed dreamy. The staff were friendly and professional. We would definitely return and highly recommend the Pelham to others as it was recommended to us.

Great location but hotel needs some TLC. Room carpet was dirty and stained, shower tub did not drain, lobby is tired. Bed was super comfortable and hotel restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Close to tube. Easy access from Heathrow airport.

Service at the hotel was slow in general. But breakfast was appalling, firstly ignored over other guests. Food was slow to arrive, the drinks weren't even delivered - to the point was asked if we wanted more drinks when the first drinks hadn't even arrived. Simple requests like brown sauce took over 15 minutes to arrive and instead brown sauce was given. Orderd a croissant, waited 10 minutes to be told firstly it wasn't put through, then secondly that they ran out. The room was tired. Mould along the bath seal, fabric wallpaper had questionable stains and was worn Spoke to management on check out and was told a refund would be given but it would take time as it was booked via a third party , it's been nearly two months an no refund Definitely not a five star hotel, a very tired four star in need of a refurbishment

Very friendly staffs, super helpful, you could ask them anything and they always tried to accommodate. Shower water was not hot enough, room temperature was ok. Very convenient location, subway just cross the road, bus stop is in front of the door. Lots of restaurants around within walking distance. Breakfast were delicious, except last two days, the restaurant was under renovation, we were switched to another room and so we did not have many choices.

The breakfast was awful. Just dreadful. We were given all of a minute to decide what we wanted. 50 minutes later the coffee was served. I was given my porridge after everything else. Porridge is served first. I don't want someone to decide if I want milk or not my husbands full breakfast was slop served in a cereal dish. The bacon was over cooked so crisp it was verging on being burnt and tasted tainted. It was how you didn't want to start the day. A whole hour sitting around for a trulyvile breakfast. From then on we had really fantastic breakfasts at Paul's just across the road. The food was a disgrace and let this really nice hotel down

Warm and friendly staff made my stay very pleasant. Thanks to Asie, Thomas and Gabriel. The Italian restaurant served delicious cuisine and the service was superb. The hotel location. Is hard to beat: proximity to tube station and V&A museum which is my favourite.

Great location in a converted townhouse. Close to the tube. The room was too small to be really comfortable. The room was nicely decorated. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The breakfast which cost extra was very good.

The Mews was an excellent suite for extra space, very nicely appointed. It is actually at the side of the hotel down a side alleyway and was surprisingly very quiet. our daughter loved the loft area with the second bed, but there are narrow stairs so not for those with mobility issues or very young kids. The staff were very nice and helpful. The stairs to the Mews suite are very narrow so it’s difficult with larger suitcases. Kudos to the staff member who carried our luggage up!! Breakfast was excellent! Upon our arrival some complimentary fruit and Chocolates awaited us which we demolished during our stay. The surrounding area is extremely convenient for food choices, restaurants and access to the Tube and various museums. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Pelham.

We loved this charming hotel , it’s quintessentially English interiors and it’s perfect location for shopping , museums, restaurants and gardens. The only issue we faced was the lack of response after 9 pm at the front desk and having to repeatedly ask for our complimentary water in the rooms. It was still worth it and I would go back there on every trip to London. A shout out to the front desk attendant Ashviti , hope I’m spelling her name right. She was helpful, attentive and with an overall lovely demeanor. Preeti Bhutani.
