Radisson Blu Hotel, London Marble Arch

Would have been all five stars, but elevator was broken for my stay. I’m sure it’s fixed now. Staff was helpful and treated me well

Great location, walking distance from tube and shops. Elevator was broken twice, construction noise and rooms are a bit tight, but still recommend overall.

My shower did not drain correctly and I had to complain twice before they even tried to fix it. After the fix, it still drained very slowly. Elevator was often broken and extremely slow when working. This hotel is too expensive for these basic services not to work.

Great location and friendly staff, however rooms are small and the corridors are narrow. Also, the bar was closed as it was a Sunday (?) and lifts were out of order. From 9am constant door slamming in the corridor meant check out came sooner than planned.

Hotel is kind of OK in a somewhat faded way. It's just not great. Everything feels a bit tired and when you're told that your room is on the 4th floor and the lifts are not working then your heart sinks a little further. No mention of that pre-arrival that I noticed.

I know it’s London, but even these rooms are too small, the lift was broken so have to climb the narrow stairs, it need a good refresh and it’s a bit dated, location is good but the price is still to high for what you get

Hotel was well situated, staff were fantastic and friendly. Unfortunately the one lift broke down and with it being an old build the stairs were difficult to navigate safely

They need more than ONE elevator.

Excellent location few minutes from Marble Arch tube, keen and helpful staff. Room was clean, tidy and everything worked. Elevator was out of service during my stay, so needed to use the narrow stairs. Not a problem for myself, good exercise. An upgrade or other such gesture would have been nice, but hotel was full. 2nd stay and will likely be back soon.

Most rooms smell like damp / mould - I had to go through 4 before I could stay in one. Smells of food and burnt from the kitchen. Very nice staff though

Couldn’t check in at 3pm, room not ready til 3:30pm. Air-conditioning very noisy and didn’t actually cool room down at all. View from window was a brick wall. Very disappointing for price charged

I had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to everything I needed, which made getting around very easy. The staff were truly wonderful—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. However, the housekeeping left something to be desired. Rooms weren’t consistently cleaned to the expected standard. With some improvements in that area, this place could easily be top-tier.

Fantastic location, clean room, lovely staff!

This was a great hotel for a night’s stay close to Marble Arch/Hyde Park. The hotel is well maintained and clean and has good facilities. The only negative was the unpleasant drain/air circulation smell that ran through reception and the lobby area. Really not great!

Nice property, friendly staff, very clean

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed. I am traveling for 2 weeks and stayed at 4 different hotels. Nothing compares to this disappointment. HOTEL HAS NOT BEEN REMODELED!!!! The images Expedia posted is incorrect. I felt grossed walking or using it anything there. The furnitures were, very dirty with stained carpet, and so much more. I cannot even explained. This was deceiving in regards to booking. I will NEVER stayed there.

Wardrobe and shelves were very dusty. Room doors had to be slammed to shut properly so don’t expect a good nights sleep if people are coming in and out of their rooms. No lamps only big lights

Overall a very good stay. Friendly and helpful staff, nice room with super king bed, which was a good size for London. Great location with lots of attractions in walking distance. Only downside was a lot of noise coming up from the street in the early morning, I think the windows need more soundproofing.

Surprisingly small room. The most cramped room I’ve ever stayed in. I’ve stayed at Radisson Blu hotels internationally and this was nothing like the brand I know. TV was not working and very dusty behind. Technician had to come and find the switch behind it. The grand facade, is a little shabby close-up. Reception is well staffed - but there were boxes lying around. It had the feel of an office reception. Staff were perfectly friendly and helpful. Its location is really all it has going for it. Needs investment.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. But the room was tiny and the ceiling height felt claustrophobic. I am 5.5 and could touch the ceiling without stretching my arm fully. But the nice staff made up for what the hotel lacked

The location if the hotel is quite good and quiet as its off the main road but still very close to restaurants and shopping areas. Unfortunately, being in the ground floor and very close to the main door coming from reception means I’m probably going to struggle to sleep. I have been trying to get some sleep for the past hour and unfortunately… the constant opening of the main door is very disruptive. The bed itself was comfortable and the room itself has all the necessities needed for a short stay. I think I may struggle if I were staying here longer as it’s quite a small room for a double bed and the bathroom definitely made me feel a little claustrophobic.

One quibble - in our room there were two sets of steps so yes we did trip up a couple of times and there are no power sockets by the bed so we couldn’t easily charge our phones.

The hotel was great but the wifi went down 24 hours before leaving and it impacted my work and i had to check out early then move on.

I have been becoming very disappointed in what has happened to a once pleasant and welcoming place to stay. I was disappointed in the check in process last September when I was there, but this time it was even worse. I had responded to an offer through the hotel to upgrade the room, which I took as even though it was a business trip my husband was accompanying me. On check in I asked if that offer had been applied and was told it was. Upon getting to the room assigned, it was a 4th floor attic room with small low windows. It was dark and sparsely furnished. On my previous visit I had asked that I NOT be given a 4th floor room. This made me very angry, and when I spoke to the front desk, I informed them , that not only did they offer me an upgrade they showed me the room type I would be given which was on the 2nd floor. The person on the desk immediately changed the room, not acknowledging anything I said, which tells me if I were a stupid traveller, she would have pawned off. A bad room for more money. I have stayed in the Sussex for more than 10 years. to return and have no ne look at preferences or concerns from a Pryor trip, just tells me management doesn't care about the guests. Through the earlier years there was staff to greet and help with bags, this is gone. There used to be a manager present during the day. Now it is simply a bunch of girls that look like they are still in training. To finish, you have lost a long time customer.

I have been staying here for many years. This trip I was extremely disappointed. Check in was disorganized. The hotel itself is starting to show wear with dirty carpets and the elevator impossible with staff using it as well as guests. All the longtime staff that was there for years is gone, replaced with a young and not so knowledgeable staff.Also when I mentioned I that I had been there in December, the person at the front desk said I wouldn't remember so many people stay here. I have to rethink staying here after probably 8 years of staying there 2 to 3 times a year.

The hotel is located just off Oxford Street, very close to Selfridges department store. It is two minutes walk from Marble Arch tube station which makes it convenient for commuting and getting around London. It is also a five minute walk to Hyde Park. Its location down a side street makes it very quiet for sleeping. The reception team were very welcoming and the water in reception was very welcomed after being on the hot tube. I received an room upgrade which was a nice surprise. The room has every amenity, hair dryer, robes, slippers, excellent tea and coffee, all bathroom hand lotion, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, tissues, bath salts and self care items. There were two comfy arm chairs and a table if you wanted to eat in your room. There is a Marks and Spencer a couple of minutes away if you want to visit their food hall. The only negatives with the room were a couple of stains on the carpet and some paint chipping on the skirting boards. I didn't try the on site dining options but the restaurant looked very nice. Unlike other reviews I found the hotel to be quite and would definitely recommend it.

Room was a bit small and an awkward size, though clean and still comfortable. The location is excellent — close to the Underground, tour busses, restaurants and shopping. Staff and service were very helpful.

I have to say I was very disappointed with our check in. We paid nearly $200 for an early check in to move our check in from 3 pm to 11:30 am. When we got to our room it was extremely hot and uncomfortable with q little fan in the room. Our first night was miserable. The next morning when I complained how hot it was, I was told that the AC was broken in that room and we would be moved to another room. No one told us as check in that the AC didn’t work and I paid an extra $200 for that! I believe I should have at least been offered the refund of my early check in. This is unacceptable!!!!

The location of this hotel is excellent, near public transportation and shopping on Oxford Street. The hotel itself was fine, but I would not rate it four stars. I would give it 2.5. Rooms were clean but nothing to write home about.

Really good location near M&S on Oxford Street, comfortable bed and clean room could do with repainting in some areas but managed a good night sleep. Near marble arch and Bond Street tube so great to get to O2 or covent Gardens .

Staff we very very friendly and super helpful. Hotel is on a back street just off Oxford street and is super quiet. Basic room is small and quirky. Breakfast was lovely and fo what we paid it is worth another visit

The hotel was close to the underground and just off Oxford Street. Very well located. Room was fine husband said the bed wss a touch too firm gor him, it was fine for me. Breakfast was lovely and room service was very good. No complaints at all.

As a solo business traveller, this hotel was a good standard without breaking the bank for a 1 night stay. Breakfast was also good value with lots of options

Room was comfortable but rather noisy from the rear of a shop across the road. Good to have water and fruit provided, reception staff helpful and breakfast was excellent. Pity the lift was not working as the third floor was quite a climb. Overall ok

I only needed to stay overnight as I had an eye op at Moorfields. Check-in was easy. The room was clean and had lovely facilities. I treated myself to room service for supper and breakfast. Lovely meals provided. The bed was really comfortable. I had a great stay.

This hotel is in a great location if you like shopping and is only a 2 minute walk to the tube station. All the staff we engaged with were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent as was the kind service. I would definitely stay here again.

Good clean room, comfortable bed, lovely soaps & toiletries, helpful staff. Eggs benedict not quite up to scratch - served on toasted baguette which was rock hard. Should be served on an English muffin.

The location is fantastic. Very close to shops, etc. but on a quiet street so you don’t hear the hustle and bustle when trying to relax. The room was clean and, although quite small, was perfect for us. Our main disappointment was the food. We ate at the attached restaurant one night and it was not good. The food was not fresh and we couldn’t eat our meals. The breakfast was okay but in future I’d opt out of the breakfast and find something else locally.
