The only positive was the location. For a 5 star hotel it was not worth it. Bed was really hard it felt like laying on concrete. Rooms are dated. When you turn on shower in bathroom it sprays all over the floor. The gym isn’t really a gym it’s just some treadmills and ellipticals. Rooms are really small even if you purchase an “upgraded” room. Wish we had booked somewhere else and got a refund for this place. Suggest staying at another hotel even if it’s a 3 or 4 star. It would be higher quality.

We were celebrating our anniversary with a couple of nights in the Radisson Blu. Location is perfect, a mile covers just about all of the theatres and the underground is a very short walk away, china is 100yds away, we had a lovely room overlooking Leicester Square which was great to watch the world go bye, there is a bar bistro which was very nice,But what made it special for us was the staff, they were wonderful with us and really helped celebrate our anniversary, must mention Kunika on reception who went out her way to make it special for us. We really appreciated her kindness and help, would definitely recommend this hotel and the lovely Staff

We were shocked and disappointed that the hotel bar closed each night at 2230! Several other guests said the same. A 5* hotel in Leicester Square with no residents bar to relax in when returning from the theatre is appalling and we will not return along with many others. Room service was available but not the same. Check before you book!

The Radisson Blu is in an excellent location our room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Obviously the building is old and could do with some modernization especially the bathroom. A walk in shower would be more convenient and better than having a bath in such a small room. The elevators could do with improvement too. Nevertheless we did enjoy our stay and the convenience of the locatoon. We would stay there again

Very central to Coffee shops and restaurants. Very close to an underground station. The bar/restaurant in the hotel is excellent. Rooms can be noisy as the Hotel is on a busy square.

Great location in Leicester Square, can walk to almost every popular site, very bustling area near hundreds of restaurants, shopping, theatres. The property is older, and the studio suite was smaller than what I’m used to, but it was clean, staff was very nice and helpful. There is no gym, spa, or pool, the beds are on the firmer side, and the restaurant doesn’t stay open all the time were my only negatives. I’d recommend it agsin just for the location that can’t be beat though!

One night stay for an event in central London. In advance was emailed with offer for free drink with meal if we are in their restaurant. On check in find that the restaurant doesn’t open. No offer of honouring the free drink however when pointed out that they shouldn’t have emailed an offer they knew they couldn’t honour as the restaurant doesn’t open Monday and Tuesdays they honoured the free drink. Service could have only been better by not needing to point this out and offering the free drink without being prompted. Room was lovely with very comfy bed and very clean and well maintained.

The area the hotel is located in is fantastic. Close to the tube and literally in Leicester square. However, the area has a lot of heavy foot traffic and the hotel hasn’t bothered to update their floors. The carpet was so disgusting and old, and I’m sure full of bacteria. The staff were attentive, we always had water, extra towels and the Nespresso machine was stocked daily. This could be a 4 hotel if they updated the flooring so it could be properly cleaned, especially because the surrounding area is so dirty.

Breakfast was very good. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. The bathroom has a rusty chip on the bathtub. The bathtub floor is stained black and dirty. There are signs of water damage in the bathroom ceiling. Bathroom sink clogged. Turned on the shower in the morning, ran water for 10 mins. Could only get scalding hot or freezing cold. Called front desk, they said to call back later when the engineer was available. I insisted and the friendly manager came to adjust the water temperature. The bed was lumpy. The square view was more like we were on display, almost at street level. We asked for another room they said they were booked up.

Arrival was great. Polite and friendly staff and offered a glass of prosecco. But that’s where the “great” ends. From the pavement and the lobby it’s a lovely modern looking hotel. Our room however was extremely tired, dirty and dated. In need of quite a bit of love and tlc. The bed - only a double which is a surprise nowadays, was clean and comfy but that’s about as good as it got. Furniture and paintwork dated and damaged. Chair with a broken leg, curtains which wouldn’t close properly (and the room was at the front of the hotel with the lights firm Leicester Square blazing through the windows. The ceiling had kind of been repainted after the installation of randomly placed spotlights, but one had been painted over and one had missed being painted round completely. No milk supplied for the drinks facilities so had to go and ask for some and were only given three sachets. The bathroom door was badly damaged along the bottom, very dirty in one corner and the shower either froze or scalded you. Overall, despite its fantastic location we have stayed in much much nicer, better kept hotels in similar locations and would hesitate to stay here again.

We received a very warm welcome which continued throughout our stay. The hotel is situated in an excellent location to all the westend shops, theatres and restaurants. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean with good toiletries and amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Proximity to theaters was excellent. The view of Big Ben from our room was an extra benefit. You are on Leicester Square, so noise is just a given but we slept very well. The room was small but well appointed. Room service was delicious with some really nice options. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

Very noisy location. Mattress was terrible. Rooms need a lot of TLC- chipping paint, furniture was very worn- to the point of the sofa being threadbare. Lobby is the only area that is nice but it’s time for them to put some money into the rooms. I would not revisit or recommend based on location and general condition of property.

Stayed for biz trip after flying in from abroad. The hotel offered an early check in, for a fee, which was a life saver after landing early. Check in staff were friendly and helped extend my stay at the best rate possible. My room faced Leicester Square, With the double windows its was VERY quiet. The room is a little dated, but comfortable. The bed was very soft.

I went there with my adult son. I had requested on booking a twin room. On arrival was told no twin rooms or bigger rooms available. I was advised if I had booked through hotel rather than hotels.con I may have had my request granted. Had booked a superior room. Room was dated with small double bed. My son is 6’2. So overall a very uncomfortable experience.

Room wasn’t ready at check in, workmen came into the room to check Air Con, lack of milk for morning tea it took 3 calls to reception and a 20 minute wait to resolve it, all water was off for a period of time and I wasn’t kept informed of what the issue was or time it would take to resolve. Too many issues for a two night stay. On check out I was told we will make sure this won’t happen to you on your next stay careful of some sort would have been appropriate I feel.

Requested room of 2 separate beds was not available even though room was booked 5 months in advance. The solutions provided to me were to sleep on the floor or double the price of my holiday with another room at full price. At no point in the last 5 months we’re a single email or phone call sent to inform me that the room was sold out from under me. Some form of communication would have saved us much headache and would have allowed us to take our business to someone who would actually have what we booked.

Our initial greeting with reception staff was warm and informative, they also booked us a table at the restaurant, greeted us with two glasses of bubbly and best of all provided us with an unexpected upgrade. Our stay was pleasant and all facilities were clean. We would definitely stay again. 5 stars from us keep up the good work 👍

Highly recommend this hotel .. easy access to major sights .. staff were friendly and helpful from check in to check out didn’t meet one that wasn’t cheerful ! They are a credit to the hotel. Pillows very very good. Breakfast also very very good and the lady server was attentive and efficient in the right measures.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Leicester Square for 3 nights and checked out today. The check-in experience was excellent, even though it was in the middle of the night. A big thank you to the Night Manager, Ms. Linda, whose warm smile and friendly approach made me feel truly welcome. The location of the hotel is unbeatable—right in the heart of everything London has to offer. While the property shows some signs of age, it is very well maintained and clean. I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. However, I would suggest a review of the scent used in the shampoo and body wash. The quality is great, but the fragrance could definitely be improved—it’s a no for me. Despite that minor detail, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London. A solid stay overall!

Service at the reception desk was very bad at many occasions. Dirty dishes left on table in reception area for a long time . Thick dust on window sill in the restaurant after they fired up air conditioner. No notice of London marathon and street closures upon checking out. Almost like the reception staff has been trained on how not to be helpful. Surprised at their rating.

The staff at the Radisson Blu were great all around. Always willing to help and go that extra mile for their guests. The location is ideal as well as it is very close to the Underground and there are so many choices for restaurants as well.

Hotel is old and needs a complete refresh; carpets are ripped in places and tiles cracking; just not kept up well. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and the air system seemed to work well to keep the room cool and the windows open. The location is what you are paying for at this hotel. It is right in Leister Square in the heart of theater district and behind the National Gallery. Picadilly is a stone throw away as is Strand. From that standpoint it was a win.

Loved it! Will definitely stay here again. It’s conveniently located. However, the taxi doesn’t come to the door of the hotel. The road is closed for walkers only. There is a short walk down to the end of the street.

Wasnt bad, but nothing particularly special. Breakfast isnt great. We had booked and prepaid Bed and Breakfast only to find that only 1 breakfast was included and we would have to pay for the other at a charge of £32, which was excessive given the quality. Most days we went somewhere else and got a better quality breakfast for 2 for around £30. To be fair thats probably the main negative. Room was ok, aircon/heating is non existent. We melted the first might with the room way too hot. Opened a window the second night and it was cold. Its 2025 and a premium hotel, being able to set the temperature should be a given. The hotel did deliver firm pillows when asked, so that was good.

The room was good. But a little noisy. Occasional banging from somewhere in the hotel. And woken up to still saw and building work outside at 6.30am But the most disappointing thing was the cold breakfast every morning. Save your money and buy breakfast elsewhere!
