I have always loved this hotel for tea and drinks but as a Londoner I have never previously been lucky enough to stay Perfect treat in a unique quintessentially English family hotel for my birthday in the heart of Victoria. The service and all the staff are amazing, professional, unobtrusive when needed, but friendly and full of advice when needed. Room was upgraded and well appointed with a lovely surprise of champagne and fruit in the room for my celebrations. Breakfast was lovely and the bar staff as always attentive and knowledgeable Only disappointment was never managing to get a table in the beautiful garden! The Goring is definitely still my favourite hotel in London

From the moment I arrived to the time I left, the Service was excellent. You were made to feel relaxed at all times. Facilities fabulous and just so friendly. Will definitely be returning soon.

Staying at the Goring was a dream come true. Everything was perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was impeccable and the hotel itself was gorgeous. We felt so taken care of.

They gave me a cheaper room, single queen bed and not double bed, very small room, smaller bed and tiny bathroom although I paid for a larger room and bed. Bed and pillow smells awful. Reception and management had a bad attitude. Additionally they said breakfast is not included although expedia site said it's included for the type of room I ordered. They said they ste doing me a favour and included breakfast, but didn't give me a refund for the cheaper room.

Really can't recommend this hotel any higher! The service, rooms, and decor were excellent. A very nice and easy walk to Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, and Big Ben. It's also close to a train station direct to Gatwick.

The problem was that I couldn’t see the television from my chair because it was set in a cupboard so for a full view I had to sit on the bed. This was an executive room. Also there was no minibar, they were saved for the suites. Even basic hotels have a minibar. It’s not always convenient to call room service. Having said this I stayed for 5 days and was sad to leave. Service perfect, hotel lovely. Just the room, small for the price. Russell, UK.

A truly exceptional trip from start to finish. This is our third time staying at the Goring (and certainly not our last) and the experience has never failed to leave us impressed and already planning our next stay. The staff are truly wonderful, effortlessly putting you at ease, and making you feel as though you are the only guest at the hotel. The food is wonderful, whether you opt for the dining room, or the bar, you are in for a great evening. The rooms are beautiful, we have stayed in a variety of different rooms and each has been impressively and exqusitely decorated. Thank you again for a wonderful trip and we look forward to coming again soon!

This is a historic hotel with superb decor, service, and style. Still owned by the original family and the site of many historic events through the years, the hotel oozes with authenticity and authorship that is rarely found in today's corporate hotels. The consistency of the rooms varies though: the better rooms are SIGNIFICANTLY nicer than the lowest priced one, including different soaps, decor, and quality. The service is thoughtful and discreet, eager to please and able to go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. The doormen kept thoughtful tabs on us and the staff never forgot who we were. The food in the newly renovated dining room is superb, with good portions and a luxurious locale. Skip the chain hotels and stay here, in history!

We were put in a very nice room on the 1st floor overlooking the hotel food delivery space. Every morning at 4:30, the trucks arrived making a terrible noise and waking us up. The various noise remained for the next 2 hours. It happened for 2 nights in a row, which is totally unacceptable for the level of this hotel. Upon checking in I asked for a quiet room on a high floor, but instead was offered this room or an upgrade for even more money, which I refused. No matter the quality of the room, the friendliness of the staff, the whole experience was spoiled.

The Goring was lovely but not worth the price. We were told that this would be the most Christmas themed hotel in the area; however, not the case. I don’t even think we saw a tree? Hotel needs more updated technology outlets. Small room was next to a butlers pantry and very loud all hours of the evening. Staff was nice. Wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel was outstanding on every level including the front desk, meal and drink services, bell men, concierge services, housekeeping, etc. We had especially outstanding service from the concierge desk by Sean and Matthew. They were invaluable in helping us make reservations and plan our daily excursions. The location of the hotel is close to many of London's historical attractions, yet on a quiet street. We will definately stay at The Goring on our next visit to London and highly recommend this amazing hotel.

We were singularly underwhelmed by the service at the Goring. The gentlemen on reception when we arrived was unwelcoming and monosyllabic. The breakfast service was like something out of Fawlty Towers. Over an hour to receive your breakfast which was cold! And it cost over £150 for the breakfasts over the two days we were there. We will not be returning.

One of the crown jewels of London is The Goring Hotel!! The oldest and only remaining family run hotel!! In one of the best neighborhoods, Belgravia, and close to Victoria Station and walking distance to many wonderful British sights, esp Buckingham Palace!!
