Plus: kitchen with microwave, fridge, induction furnace. And one of the best traveller’s friend: a washing machine. A supermarket nearby is also very convenient. Minus: the front lift was out of order almost all the time. There were two others at the back of the buiding, but as they are similar, we were a bit scared they could also break. After all we were at the 7th floor.

The staff was very nice and polite. Two out of four elevators were out of service throughout our stay, but it did not bother us much. The room was spacious and cozy, with a small kitchen, a washing machine, and two toilets. A Sainsbury's is located very close to the hotel, super handy to buy breakfast and other necessities. The room did not have a phone; the only way to contact the front desk was through WhatsApp, and as a foreign traveller, I could not install and sign up for the app there. So basically, the only way to contact the front was to go down to the front and talk directly (it never happened, though). Strongly recommend that you install the app before traveling. We enjoyed our stay very much: I will stay at this hotel again if I ever revisit London.

Parking is impossible to find and extremely expensive. We were doing some trips out from London, I'd recommend staying further out from if you plan any day trips to avoid the exorbitant amount of traffic into/out of Chelsea. The area was incredible for the time we were staying local, but the facilities were mostly clean and the elevator has been broken for about 7 years now.

I tend to stay here when visiting London. One of the 2 main lifts was out of service this time. Apart from that, the room this time was spacious and OK, especially with bath tub.

Fabulous location. Friendly staff. The elevator was out and the laundry didn’t work well. Kitchen and bathroom was tiny and awkward layout. Beds were comfy. We traveled as a family of four and planned to cook in for some meals, but wound up eating out because the layout of the kitchen and living area was too small for us.

We were ‘upgraded’ to 2 bedroom suite. However, the rooms were very tired and chipped. The bathroom had mould between the tiles etx and the windows were absolutely filthy around the frames. The windows are metal single glazed and didn’t close properly so the noise was terrible. It would be really cold and draughty in winter. The bedding was clean the towels were okay. Staff and reception are really lovely and so helpful. They stored our luggage for us. The location is excellence for the Chelsea Flower Show and for Battersea Power Station. Kings Road is a great shopping area.

The apartment we got was nothing like the pictures online. The reception area is nice but rest of building old and grotty. Lifts always breaking down. The apartment we had was in very poor condition. We would not stay here again

The location is amazing! The size of the room and kitchen for the short period of time is great. Downside smelled bad. Smelled like molding and cigarette. I kept the windows open the whole time for the smell. The front desk stuff at the check in was ok Didn’t explain anything how to get the room I had to carry my luggage up and downs small stairs instead of telling me that the hall elevator was going to the same place and I just had to walk more. I would’ve rather walk with my luggage (has wheel) than going up and down stairs carrying myself . Needs more cleaning. I found a pair of socks under the table (not mine ) Pictures don’t look like reality at all. Not sure where the pictures are from but it’s not this hotel for sure. Overall price is good, location great.

Our room was clean and spacious compared to other accommodations we've stayed in in London. We were on the 9th floor and the lift broke between us leaving for the evening and coming back. There wasn't very clear instructions on how to get to the other lift in the building. Otherwise good location, safe and near tube stations

Pretty good studio space with hob and oven , washing and drying , good bathroom, however it was pee in the toilet and hair when I arrived , so that tells me , the cleaning isn’t very thorough. Or maybe it was just my room? It’s good for a short stay- I would stay here again if I was in a pickle. Mainly stayed here for the location, and convenience of the washing and kitchen facilities.

Our 4th floor room had significant mould in the bathroom over the shower and the window. There was lots of noise from the Sainsburys and other businesses nearby overnight and early morning which meant a very disturbed sleep. There is only one of two lift from the reception area working - with people unwilling to take the stairs, it meant long queues and over a 30 minute wait for a lift that was empty enough to fit me and my suitcase. We were only provided 1 room key for 2 people which was impractical. One night I asked reception for assistance to access my room as my partner was unwell and had returned to the room with our key to go to sleep. I was categorically denied by front desk staff who said it was a security risk, which was ridiculous given the room booking was in my name and I had appropriate Identification. Can’t say I will be rushing back, which is unfortunate given the great location of this place. It has good potential but definitely needs some work.

Whatever history this hotel has, it's not warranted. It has a serviceable kitchen (fancy microwave, stove top, fridge, pots and pans, and all kinds of cutlery) with a store very close by, which is perfect and a lot cheaper than eating out. It comes with a kitchen table and two chairs, and also a very welcome space heater. It's honestly perfect for excursions into the city, and the tube is a 10min walk. It was clean and quiet, and we got good rest for all the 8 nights we stayed there. The only problem is that the booking on Expedia didn't match the room - booking said pull-out sofa, but it had none, and the 'parking available' needs a giant asterisk... there is expensive paid parking, or street parking.

Nice property, especially the availability of a washing machine and a kitchenette. Some of the rooms are very modern (remodeled recently) and some are not. The only downside is the noise from outside. the windows are ancient and have never been updated. Most likely from the 50s or 60s when the building was built.

Chelsea cloisters is a massive apartment building with 9 floors and lots of studios and apartments. Advise to ask for a room that doesn’t face the road as it is very noisy being a main road. We got one that faced the back. It was clean, tidy, and not far from South Kensington underground station. There is a sainsbury close by and restaurants, pubs but be warned these are expensive

I enjoyed my stay at Chelsea Cloisters and would stay here again. Our room was newly renovated and had many amenities such as a washer/dryer, and kitchen. The area is quiet, walkable, and conveniently located.

Security and the staff were very rude and wanted to know very personal stuff made me come down in my pyjamas to collect my friend even though I was on the phone and said it was okay for them to come up and the security man was extremely rude to me to the point of. I made a complaint in the morning and I couldn’t sleep due to this.

Safety here is not good, single woman, chose here due to good area. Was given key to my room that had a male on bed as I entered. Absolutely scared me and was advised by staff my room was reallocated but not updated on booking in. Had that have been me in the room and a man just walked in just terrified me. The bed was absolutely miserable. Could feel the springs when laying on it. When first arrived I was talking to a man behind counter (there were 5 people behind counter) when 2 young women came in to ask a generic question, he totally dismissed me never to return to me or my check in. Another older man finally came to help. Very very rude!

I slipped twice getting into the shower and struck my head. It’s a big step up and there is nothing to grab onto to help. There is also nothing on the bottom of the tub to prevent slips. It’s an older building with old windows and radiators so the wind was blowing through the windows in the one room and it was always cold. The staff was nice and helpful! Definitely within walking distance of grocery stores and the tube or buses.

We liked that we could eat in or out. Unfortunately the room we had was only single glazed and over the road from our room was a Sainsburys local that had late night deliveries.

Really well located for transport links, local museums, easy walking distance to good range of eateries. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room cosy but well equipped. Couple of things in room need a little paint/ tlc but kitchenette area looked very new.and room equipped.well.

Plus: kitchen with microwave, fridge, induction furnace. And one of the best traveller’s friend: a washing machine. A supermarket nearby is also very convenient. Minus: the front lift was out of order almost all the time. There were two others at the back of the buiding, but as they are similar, we were a bit scared they could also break. After all we were at the 7th floor.

Accommodation is in a great location and central to tube and sights. Rooms a good size and have a small kitchenette on if staying for more than a couple of nights. Bathroom is very small and could do with upgrading, looking rather shabby and windows need to be double glazed as can hear everything outside. Beds comfortable, unfortunately not the pillows.

Whatever history this hotel has, it's not warranted. It has a serviceable kitchen (fancy microwave, stove top, fridge, pots and pans, and all kinds of cutlery) with a store very close by, which is perfect and a lot cheaper than eating out. It comes with a kitchen table and two chairs, and also a very welcome space heater. It's honestly perfect for excursions into the city, and the tube is a 10min walk. It was clean and quiet, and we got good rest for all the 8 nights we stayed there. The only problem is that the booking on Expedia didn't match the room - booking said pull-out sofa, but it had none, and the 'parking available' needs a giant asterisk... there is expensive paid parking, or street parking.

I would definitely stay again. Great staff. Nice sized apartment and futon couch. Lots of amenities and close to the subway. Good, safe neighborhood and grocery store next door. The only cons that it was noisy and very cold. The heat doesn't come on until mid October. We were very cold walking around in our apt. I should have brought it up to staff because they had portable heaters. But I didn't know. I was on the 7th floor and I could hear all the street noise with ease. You can also tell that it has been remodeled but is waiting on a few final touches, like carpet in the halls, windows and baseboards in the house. Would still highly recommend.good bang for your buck. Lovely staff and they even let us leave our bags there for the day.

I would definitely stay here again. The little kitchenette and the Sainsburys just steps away made all the difference in our vacation. Sometimes after a day of walking, we just got a ready meal at Waitrose or Sainsburys and ate in the room and watched TV. I loved it!The room was basic, but just perfect for the price. The area is top-notch too. So many nice restaurants and pubs nearby. Kings Road is a 5-minute walk. Perfect location!

A good find at a reasonable price. Stayed for a week in a kitchenette studio which was great, clean and modern. Not sure of the set up - are the apartments individually owned? I did not mind occasional cleaning service as did my own laundry in unit. Construction noise during the day, otherwise quiet. Perfect location.

This is the second time I have stayed at Chelsea Cloisters and I will stay again. It is not the Ritz; the rooms are small, are of various ages and could do with a bit of a refresh. However if you’re after a reasonably priced place in a good location stay here. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms okay and you have the bonus of a kitchenette and washing machine. Importantly, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Finally, two of the four lifts don’t appear to work so ask for a room on a low floor.
