NH Ravenna

Disappointing! Clean property with good housekeeping service. But, very poor wifi service, no bar or restaurant for the duration. For a 4* (supposedly) property these are too basic to overlook. Not worth the money.

Very adequate hotel, well positioned. Breakfast was good as expected, but Restaurant was closed for August (not pre advised). Mattress was not comfortable (too firm and springy, transmitted too much movement). No electric sockets near the bed head. If returning to Ravenna I would shop around.

NH Ravenna is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of this wonderful city. The hotel itself is spotless and modern and the rooms are terrific. You are in within easy walking distance of all the major historical and artistic sites of Ravenna and there are numerous places to eat very close to the hotel especially if you are mobile on foot. There is parking available directly across the street if you’re driving. The staff is impeccable and the morning breakfast was fabulous. This hotel gets my top rating.

Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Great breakfast with specialties from Emilia Romagna. Parking spot directly at the hotel door for unloading bags and free parking 50 feet away.

Good location and shuttle bus to port was very convenient

We picked this hotel as was a short 5 minute walk from the train station. It did not really look like the pictures in the listingband seemed a bit dated, but it was clean and comfortable for a night. It is located a short walk to restaurants and sights. Overall, it was fine for a night since we were getting on a cruise ship the next day. They do have a shuttle to the cruise ship terminal for 15 euros per person. The shuttle allowed our friends, who were staying elsewhere, to use it, so we were all able to go to the terminal together.

Very convenient for railway station. Helpful staff. Good room service. Only negative is restaurant closed Friday and Saturday.

An older property but with modern amenities. Good breakfast and within walking distance of tourist highlights. Only complaint is the request for passport information in advance for which there was no need and no requirement.

Lo raccomando a chi vuole un soggiorno piacevole, comodo, e vicino ai mosaici di Ravenna e a ristoranti meno turistici e di ottima qualità alimentare.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was red stains on the bed sheets, so we reported it to the front desk and they switched our room to a new one, other then that one issue it was a okay place for 1 or 2 nights max.

Our stay was great. The staff was AMAZING and incredibly kind. The room was a bit outdated, and the bathroom smelt very bad, the entirety of our trip.. other than that.. it was great. Would recommend, the Rialto bridge is literally directly outside the front doors

NH Ravenna is a short walk from both the station and the town centre, so it’s position is perfect. The hotel is large and modern with every facility you would expect. Check-in was speedy and efficient, our room was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the modern, well equipped bathroom was a delight! Breakfast featured everything you would want and the staff were charming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

No es calidad de la cadena NH acostumbrada, es un hotel viejo, las habitaciones muy pequeñas. Anuncian que tiene aire acondicionado y NO tiene, tienes que abrir una ventana que abre a la mitad para que entre algo de aire y la calle es muy ruidosa. No nos gustó ni a mi esposa ni a mi

Central location close to station and walkable to all the sights. Slow check in as only one member of staff to deal with a queue of arriving guests. My “Superior” room was large (there was an unwanted extra single bed) but dull - all grey with not even one picture. Large wardrobe with few hangers. Large bathroom with shower over bath. Small details undermine the overall experience - curtains that don’t close properly, a shower that leaks, lights on bizarrely configured switches. Breakfast buffet with reasonable choice and coffee from machine.

Hotel is very basic. staff were all great. Breakfast was good. Wifi was awful. Might as well say you don’t offer wifi.

The hotel looks a little tired but is very convenient for the station and the ‘centro storico’. Staff were pleasant and friendly but not always knowledgeable. The air conditioning could not be lowered below 22*C so it was actually heating the room when we arrived in mid May! The only way to get a cool room at night was to open the window, which proved quite noisy. There were no coffee/tea facilities in the room. Coffee from the machine at breakfast was pretty decent made with beans from a well-known Italian producer/roasting company.

Gave an overall rating of 4 due to the location and walk ability to the town center. The A/C was weak and the room was sooo tiny. Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. Transportation to the port for our cruise was great, clean and on-time.

It was less than 5 min fr the station. The hotel is clean , beds are nice and big , the room is spacious ( comparing to other cities in Italy ), buffet is not included but if you are in a rush next morning is a great option for about 15 EUR. We gave 3 starts to the staff just for the lady in the morning at the buffet her attitude was not the best and seems that she was in a bad mood . The rest of the staff friendly and nice. We definitely come back!

The hotel is in a very convenient location, but what makes it stand out is customer service. We had to leave Bologna at 7am instead of 9am to get ahead of the train strike. Being a little stressed and tired, we did expect to have to wait in the lobby for several hours for our room to be ready, since 9:30am is usually in advance of normal checkin. How many times have I sat in the lobby waiting for the official check in time ? Well, not this day ! Cristina noted that our room should be ready for immediate occupancy and personally checked that it was so. She was able to get us checked in right away and we were able to get settled and unwind a little before setting out to explore the city. I thank Cristina for this kindness, as well as a few other things she took care of for us during our stay. As for the hotel - it is very conveniently located to the train station as well as to the city sites. The hotel was pretty comparable in price to the other hotels in the area, but the NH was modern and spacious and I think it probably has a better price / performance as a result. The bed was very comfortable with enough pillows. We didn't include breakfast in our stay. Overall, in this price range, pretty comparable to the other hotels / apartments we have booked and so far, this has been the best value in terms of quality. To be honest - I am a very tough grader - if I get a decent room for a decent price, that's meeting expectations. A hotel that has good quality compared to the other

Marco was so very helpful and kind during our check-in. Overall our stay was excellent in large part thanks to such a great start with Marco. The location for visiting Ravenna is hard to beat.

We opted to stay at NH Ravenna before our cruise. It was close, in a pretty good area and within walking distance to local shops and dining. The rooms are super small but clean. The elevator is large enough for 2 people!!

Location!Location!Easy walk 5-10minute from train station,cruise shuttle stop is across the street from hotel on park side(signage is posted) and 10minute walk into old town (Piazza Popolo)with lots of restaurants,pizzerias and paticceries along the way!

Within walking distance of the train station and town square where there are many shops and restaurants. Rooms are small but include everything you need. Shower was small and lots of water ended up on the floor. Staff was helpful and there was a good choice of breakfast foods.
