Aretusa Vacanze was excellent and all the staff were so friendly. The breakfasts were very good and they were enhanced by the excellent selection of homemade jams. Parking was about 10 minutes walk away for €20/ day in a private lot which was reasonable for the area.

The b and b breakfast view was awesome and the breakfast tastes delicious. Staff is very helpful without them we wouldn’t be able to get our car. Overall a really worth stay.

A lovely family run B&B with a rooftop terrace overlooking the city and the sea. Wonderful breakfasts with choice of delicious homemade jams and yummy croissants etc. Our room was large and comfortable and the bathroom totally modern. Stefano provided great restaurant recommendations and helped with travel arrangements. Highly recommend and great value!

The B&B was centrally located with easy walking to all the sights on the island of Ortygia. The room and bathroom were spacious and modern. The breakfast was very good which was served on the rooftop deck with views of the city. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking garage was unavailable and we had to park over the bridge in Syracuse, about a 10 minute walk away.

Room was very clean, comfy and felt like home. The family that ran the B&B was so kind and sweet. This is the place to stay if you are in Ortigia. It's a gem. The roof-top balcony gives you a breathe taking scene to look at while enjoying a simply yet delicious breakfast, which you can change daily. The Pistachio Croissants are delicious, I ate at least two each morning. You are feet from the water, restaurants and shops. If you are ever in need the family will help you in any way they can. I cannot state how kind they all are. They even printed out recommendations and offered to walk a couple to a place so they didn't get lost. A must stay if you are in Ortigia. We stayed for 4 days and would do it again. Love this B&B

We were welcomed by Stefano, whose English was excellent. He was gracious and helpful in the extreme. This is a truly family-run business, including Stafano's father (Maurizio) and son (Christian). We have also met Antonio, who works on the front desk. The room was spotlessly clean and of the highest quality. A fridge as part of a small kitchen, access to a little courtyard, high speed wi-fi, a superior wall safe, lots of storage space and really effective air-conditioning gives you everything you want and more. Stefano had arranged a taxi from Catania Airport to Aretusa Vacanze with his friend, Danilo, for €90.

Stefano and family were very welcoming and helpful, genuinely wanting their guests to enjoy Sicilian hospitality. The room was very clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and in excellent location in Ortigia. Breakfast was delicious, especially the wide array of jams.

Luogo incantevole con bellissima camera. Pulitissimo anche negli spazi pubblici. La terrazza per le colazioni è davvero bella e i prodotti ottimi e freschi. La posizione è centralissima tra vicoli e vicina a vari ristoranti, locali e negozi. La conduzione familiare rende il soggiorno molto piacevole, sono tutti gentili e ti fanno sentire a casa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Stefano is the perfect host, extremely helpful and accomodating. The location is perfect. The breakfast is the best we had on our trip. The room was clean. And the price is reasonable. Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if/when I visit Ortigia again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic family run small hotel which provides excellent value and is ideally placed to enjoy the delights of Syracuse. Rooms are spacious with good facilities. Stefano and his staff go out of their way to help and nothing is too much trouble to make your stay perfect. The roof terrace is a highlight and you can enjoy your breakfast with views over the city to the sea or enjoy the sunset. We will definitely be back.

I can't say enough nice things about the hosts. They were so accommodating and gave us great recommendations on restaurants. The location is very close to the main areas. The room was wonderful. There was a place to hang your laundry on a little terrace. I would highly recommend staying here. Ortigia is just beautiful.

The hotel was in a fabulous area, walkable to everything. The family run hotel treated all guests as if they were the only ones there, providing personalized care. The breakfast was fantastic and the homemade jam was delicious! We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Stefano is the perfect host, extremely helpful and accomodating. The location is perfect. The breakfast is the best we had on our trip. The room was clean. And the price is reasonable. Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if/when I visit Ortigia again. Highly recommend!

Room was very clean, comfy and felt like home. The family that ran the B&B was so kind and sweet. This is the place to stay if you are in Ortigia. It's a gem. The roof-top balcony gives you a breathe taking scene to look at while enjoying a simply yet delicious breakfast, which you can change daily. The Pistachio Croissants are delicious, I ate at least two each morning. You are feet from the water, restaurants and shops. If you are ever in need the family will help you in any way they can. I cannot state how kind they all are. They even printed out recommendations and offered to walk a couple to a place so they didn't get lost. A must stay if you are in Ortigia. We stayed for 4 days and would do it again. Love this B&B

The B&B was centrally located with easy walking to all the sights on the island of Ortygia. The room and bathroom were spacious and modern. The breakfast was very good which was served on the rooftop deck with views of the city. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking garage was unavailable and we had to park over the bridge in Syracuse, about a 10 minute walk away.

The b and b breakfast view was awesome and the breakfast tastes delicious. Staff is very helpful without them we wouldn’t be able to get our car. Overall a really worth stay.

Stefano and family were very welcoming and helpful, genuinely wanting their guests to enjoy Sicilian hospitality. The room was very clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and in excellent location in Ortigia. Breakfast was delicious, especially the wide array of jams.

Amazing location, and Stefano and Antonio are beyond helpful! Thanks to their recommendations we ate at some fantastic restaurants and saw sites we would have missed. And then there’s their incredibly breakfasts on their rooftop terrace, well beyond any included breakfast we’ve ever had! Grazie mille!

Location was perfect. Steps away from the most popular attractions. Stefano and his family did a great job of making us welcome and comfortable. Each day Stefano suggested local restaurants and booked reservations for us. All were excellent. The rooftop breakfast was a treat. Be sure to request the fresh squeezed blood orange juice. Relaxing with a beautiful view of the bay.
