The staff were friendly and helpful. They gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Our room was clean and cozy, and we loved that we could open the window and let in some fresh air. There are plenty of areas, both inside and outside, to sit and chat or have a coffee. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we've had at a hotel, and we enjoyed the 27-hour access to fresh coffee.

Could not ask for it to be any better. Arrived late at night. Shuttle picked us up at airport very quickly. Wonderful room and breakfast. Shuttle took us back the next morning to get our rental car.

It's a very clean, comfortable hotel. We really missed having any sort of restaurant/bar/breakfast facility. However, they had an efficient, friendly shuttle service that we used for the airport and nearby restaurants.

Would definitely stay again, loved the shuttle service, taking us within 1 mile no charge. Food options in am👍 good and hot, view from lobby and lobby very nice, rooms nice, TV's dated though. Very well cleaned place.

This place really saves me a lot of grief when I travel through Anchorage. Right on top of the mall there. They provide shuttle service not only to airport but to the surrounding area. Staff are world class service

Overall I had a good stay but the day I checked out to get a shuttle to the airport; the guy had made me wait nearly 2 hours. I checked 11:45 he said 35 mins, then came to tell me there was a guy he was waiting for at 12:30. The guy came down 12:40. Then driver told me has to follow the guy to drop off car near by, then had to go back to hotel because the guy forgot his food in the fridge. Then we finally got to airport. I didn’t tip the driver. I was starving

The staff were friendly and the location was very convenient with a Walmart next door and plenty of food and shopping options. My only complaint was that no one ever came to clean our room. We stayed for 4 days and our trash was never emptied. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper. The beds were never made and the room not cleaned the entire time we were there. We left everyday so there was plenty of opportunity. I saw the maid service cleaning other rooms but my room and my daughter’s room were never handled. Quite disappointing.

The best thing about this property is its location. (Close to the mall and walmart and many other things) The staff was friendly. Pros: The toilet got clogged right off the bat. Not much attention to detail with the cleaning (dusty light switches, funny smell, detained sheets and pillows and towels. old bed that squealed all night just by turning over.

Pros: 1. Hotel room was very spacious. 2. Comfy bed. 3. Nice large tub. 4. Bright, open common area (including a fun set of stairs). 5. Safety. 6. Satisfying complimentary breakfast. 7. Great shopping options within walking distance from the hotel (including a Walmart). 8. Many decent restaurants nearby. 9. Plenty of parking. Cons: 1. There were some occasional homeless people hanging around the hotel. This is probably because it is located in a large lot with a shopping mall and several other businesses. There was also a bus hub right next to the property as well. 2. This is likely one of the more desirable areas for teenagers in Anchorage to hang out. Therefore, some may loiter around the mall parking lot (though somewhat away from the hotel itself). 3. Quite a bit of traffic around the hotel. Good idea to be careful when walking to either Walmart or the shopping mall. Overall, my wife and I really liked our stay here. She got sick on our second night, and having a Walmart within walking distance was a blessing.

The Dimond was clean and convenient location. The lobby could use some freshing up, the entrance is a small revolving door which is cumbersome to get luggage through and the handicap door did not work. I know we’re in Alaska and it does get cold but it was around 60° outside. It was warm for us, but yet there was no air conditioning in the hotel room. They had a fan which lowered to 60 and you could open the window. When I inquired, they weren’t sure if there was air conditioning, but said that they do have portable fans that I could use for the room. So I had to keep the window open, but our room was facing a small courtyard in the middle of the night. There was a woman outside, speaking very loudly on the phone who woke us up. I would recommend staying here again, but making sure you don’t get a room near the courtyard. If you have to open the window and I wouldn’t stay if it’s really hot outside because the entire hotel was very hot.

Beds are very very firm. Pillows are flat. If that what you like you’ll love it here. The last two stays we have been woken up by beeping. This last time it was the alarm in the next room going off for 10 mins.

The hotel room was fine but checking in was a disappointment. I booked a king room for our Anniversary and when we arrived they said that are room was unavailable and they were overbooked and we had to down grade to a double bed room. The receptionist was rude and was not accommodating at all. We explained we booked through Expedia and she claimed that Expedia books without checking to see if theres availability .And we are supposed to call the hotel directly to see if there’s availability after booking with Expedia.

Staff were friendly and the kitchen staff went above and beyond. We were leaving the following day prior to the kitchen opening, so they gave us a to go container and let us take extra bagels for the next day. It was great as a snack on our train ride. The shuttle driver was also friendly and super helpful!

Every time I come to this location, I enjoy my stay and the staff is wonderful. I had a surgical procedure and needed to check in early. They accommodated that and Cordero helped us get our stuff upstairs and unloaded. Great staff

You have a transportation director that can not keep his hands off not only the employees but the customers. It was very sickening to see the way he just had to not only get right in the face of every single person he came in contact with but he also had to put his arms around them and hands all over them. I am a eye witness to this behavior for any employees or customer that wants to file a sexural harassment.

When we arrived at the property around 10pm, we discovered that the room was very warm, and adjusting the thermostat did not help. There was no cool air coming out of the vents. We could not sleep this way. The desk clerk sent my husband to another room to check it out. too hot, AC wasn't working. After four other rooms. we were forced to take the first room and use a fan placed in the window in order to sleep comfortably. The next day, the manager moved us to a cooler room on the next floor up and refunded our money for the previous night. She was so helpful and understanding, that even though we had a rough start, the staff and the manager did everything in their power to make our stay a pleasant one. The room was clean, the staff was so friendly and helpful, parking was a breeze, and breakfast was pretty good with lots of options.

Needed to be close to the airport for an early flight after a week of sightseeing and lots of outdoor activities. Was pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms were as well as the amenities offered. Walking distance to several fast food options and the Walmart as well as some shopping. Front desk was welcoming and the grounds were clean and inviting

We got in late but my daughter was able to walk to the nearby Olive Garden to get us takeout. Check in & out were easy. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly & helpful. The hotel does provide a shuttle to/from the airport but not the railroad station. There is a city bus service next door which is super convenient and cheap. It runs straight to the downtown area very near to the visitor center. Take the Trolley tour…it’s great ! Lyft & Uber we’re also quick. & efficient..even at 5 a.m. to get to railroad for a day trip to Seward. With all the shopping nearby it’d convenient if you realize you need something. The breakfast is typical for most hotels. Though it says continental they do have a prepared cheese omelette, roasted potatoes, & sausage. Everything was well stocked. Also when we got back super late one night, someone was able to get my daughter some milk from their fridge. We highly recommend this as a place to stay in Anchorage.

Great place to get settled when arriving in town. Lots of shops and restaurants walking distance. Bus stop to downtown right on the corner. Great breakfast, nice and clean room, would definitely recommend. It's in the heart of a busy commercial area, so don't expect to be in the wilderness or walking distance to hikes. Personnel was really helpful and nice.

To start the beds are super soft. Along with that the blanks are super thin. The sheet is like paper. I didn’t get to try the breakfast. I hear it’s pretty good. This just isn’t the hotel I’m used to going to. It use to be inviting and comfortable. Now it’s cheap and starting to look run down. I think one thing that would be great is room service.

The only thing I would love to see added to the morning breakfast is oatmeal offered for those of us that cannot have sausages, bacon or potato patties due to heath or other conditions. Otherwise the hard work does not go unappreciated to set up the meals.

Pros: The rooms are nice and spacious, nice and easy check in, easy parking. Cons: breakfast has many choices, but the quality of food is not good. The room does not have a sink in the bathroom, it’s actually outside the bathroom which is very weird.

The room are spacious, the desk and housekeeping staff are friendly. The shuttle ride is very comfortable. The breakfast option needs work. The juise was watery, the french toast was and turkey sausage was hard to chew. You need non dairy creamer option fir coffee.
