Absolutely the worst kept place we've ever been. Room smelled like smoke. Vending machine didnt work, water fountain didn't work, sheets were dingy, towels were stained. Pictures on the website were taken at the best possible angles. We couldnt wait to leave. Disgusting!!!

Property looked decent on the outside and in the front lobby- get on the elevator at your own risk—it’s very old & shady. No ice machine. Smelled of weed. I had suite and one room had A/C cold air and the bedroom only ran heat.

Common area trash containers were overflowing! Room was clean and very accommodating. Breakfast area was busy and apparently under staffed, as Desk clerk was taking care of breakfast and everything else.

This is the third time I've stayed at this SureStay, and first time I've encountered any major issue. First of all, I'd say if you are on a budget and want a comfortable place this should be one to consider. However, my main issue was that they did not take security serious. I was there 5 days, usually ask for cleaning services every second day. Well, they came and cleaned my room after the 2nd night, but left my door unlocked. I don't know if mgmt has instructed cleaning staff on what to do when their keys cannot lock a door, but when I went up to my room after the cleaning the staff had gone but my door was unlocked. When he came back I showed him this, and he showed me that his key was malfunctioning. My polite response was that he should have gotten help immediately and returned to lock it. After that, I turned down every other cleaning request. In the process I also discovered that the room telephone didn't work. We all sign a disclosure of how items left in the room are left at the owner's risk, but that doesn't hold water if even the room cannot be secured. Nothing was stolen thankfully. Also, the breakfast is tepid. Both times I tried it the eggs, potatoes and sausage were not warm. Staff are pleasant, but the young woman I told my concern to didn't really seem to interested. Please do better.

When we first checked in the bathroom and bed were filthy. We immediately asked for a different room. We were then put in a room that smelt strongly of mold. This hotel was for a work event for 10 nights and after working 12+ hour shifts 8 days in a row it would've been nice to have a good nights sleep to look forward to. Instead we had to buy cleaner to make the room smell better, listen to the people above us slam stuff against the floor all night/morning and eat the same microwaved eggs every day. Also you better hope you are bald because the water pressure in the shower will do nothing to clean your hair. The staff was helpful and friendly but I would never recommend this hotel.

This property was not clean, there were stains on the bed linen, spots and writing on the walls, the tubs looked dingy and a bad smell in the rooms. After being offered 5 rooms of which none were any different I requested a refund (which I an still waiting for) and I booked a room at another hotel.

The room was dirty. The toilet seat had stains on it and there was trash under the vanity. The tub/shower floor was grimy and not clean. The shower knob was loose and it would turn off/on when you turned it. Finally, the bathroom sink faucet handle popped right off when I tried to turn and control the water temperature. Will never recommend or stay in this property again.

The outside was nice, but upon entering our room we found a condom wrapper on the floor. There was an oily substance on the mirror, headboards, and bed skirts. There was also some white spots on the bed skirts as well. The sheets didn't seem to have been washed as there was hair and stuff on them. The front desk did get us a change of sheets, pillowcases, and blankets. Beds were decent to sleep on and the area wasn't too noisy.

The staff was sweet so I hate to leave a bad review just because of them but I will never stay here again. Outside presentation was great, deceiving. We had 3 rooms total. The first room had such a bad smell..a combination of dog and mildew. The other rooms were tolerable with the smell but still rough. The bathrooms are stained and very out dated. We did request another room because the smell was so bad in the first room. It was game day weekend so options were limited on going anywhere else. My husband did a quick scan and accepted. It’s just a weekend. We went to bed not thinking about what I would find in the bathroom trash in the morning. A used condom hanging off the side of the trash! There wasn’t anyone at the front to talk to as we were leaving and we were pressed for time getting to the game. We honestly didn’t even try to breakfast just based on the cleanliness of our room..but I heard other guests say it was good. Again..staff was sweet. Rooms just need some TLC.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very minimalist with no dresser or closest to hang items. The shower only had luke warm water at best. The hotel does offer maid service daily which was nice to get fresh towels and beds made each day.

The room was okay for the price. The beds were 2 fulls, instead of 2 queens. Our room was an exterior room facing the interstate. We heard traffic noise all night. If anyone was in the hall walking or talking, we could hear them so well that it sounded like our door was open. Like I said, the hotel was okay for the price, but I was expecting a little more.

Right off the highway. Decent parking lot. Adjacent to Cracker Barrel. Check-in was unbearably slow. Room away from road, so it was mostly quiet. Room smelled musty. Bathroom seemed more updated than was sleeping room. Room door closed very poorly; large gap at door bottom allowed hall noise into room. Poor-quality toilet paper and poorer, single-ply kleenex always lose my favor. Very nice & large, modern Samsung flatscreen. Very comfortable king bed.

Everyone was sweet. Its a very "mom and pop" feel to the place. My only complaint is that the beds were VERY hard. My partner can sleep anywhere and was unbothered but i woke up about every hour stiff. The recliner makes a fantastic alternative to bed though

When we went to check in the staff would not get off the phone. Took almost ten minutes before she would talk to us. The pictures are very deceiving. The check in and dining area are nice. The room is not. The bathtub/shower was nasty. The mattress was awful. It was a very old spring mattress on a metal box. The room had a smell to it. The couch sunk in when you set on it. The toilet seat wouldnt stay up when you use it. We will not be staying here again.

Would have rated this property higher had I not gone into the bathroom. Toilet seat slid around. Stoppers in sink and tub were broke so had to take both out for water to drain. Shower liner full of mildew. Water pressure average, not great. We stayed in the first room off the lobby, across from elevator and ice machine. Never heard either one. Beds and pillows were comfortable enough. Breakfast was not as advertised. No waffle set up, no cereals, no breads, no juice, and food provided was not prepared well. However, for the price I would stay here again.

Bed was not very comfortable, the bathroom wasn’t that clean, the room felt outdated and was very hot in the 2nd floor and in the hallway, a/c was ok just enough to keep from getting hot while we slept! Breakfast was horrible and cold and not much to choose from! It was very convenient and for a 1 night stay it was decent enough to get a shower and a few hours of sleep!

Oh man - we have stayed at this hotel before and it was fine. Unfortunately this trip it was not fine. The bathroom barn door left a 3-4 inch gap - I could literally see my husband walk by the door when I was sitting on the toilet. There was no coffee at breakfast one morning, and another morning the breakfast area was a mess with hardly any food options and no utensils. Our last morning there was also poop in the elevator. We will not be staying here again unless it is the absolute last option available :(

This was the best hotel I stayed at on my road trip between Boston and Houston. And it was one of the most affordable. The staff was absolutely stellar and put a smile on our face. The lobby is gorgeous and I was taking pictures of the murals etc. like a tourist. The hot breakfast was delicious; omelets and sausage and gravy! Amazing chandelier and flowers in the dining area. The gazebo has an outdoor sink and grille, and beautiful outdoor lighting. The furniture in the rooms is modern and I want every piece for my apartment lol, complete with a cool sliding barn door. Hands down best hotel I've stayed in for this price; you will feel like you're at a 5 star hotel.
