We always stay at this hotel. The staff is amazing, the rooms are always clean. The parking is limited due to construction going on, so keep that in mind. Overall, we will be staying here again!

The front office staff, the breakfast staff and cleaning staff were all top-notch. The pool is beautiful and a welcome feature with the heat. The location is great- right across the street from the mall and Target. Five or six minutes, depending on where Student lives at university of Alabama. Falling in love with Tuscaloosa! Roll Tide!

The hotel was perfect! I loved the pre-game reception Friday night before the game, and the breakfast was fantastic! The hotel was clean with a spacious room. It is conveniently located with Univeraity Mall and shuttle bus service across the street. Bed was comfortable, convenient free parking. Outdoor pool looked nice but it was too cold to swim. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

First time we’ve stayed at this property since it’s remodeled two years ago. The gym & breakfast area is much better, the staff wonderful as always. The pool wasn’t open for the season yet but they allowed us to sit outside to enjoy the 80 degree day. Only issues we had is the remodel didn’t allow for any exhaust fans in the bathroom & not enough parking spots.

It was great!! Decorated for UA game great breakfast. Hot cocoa bar the girls loved. Very nice room comfy bed nice lotions shampoos to use close to UA and mall. Nicely lit parking lot.

The hot chocolate during this season was a great idea, especially for the kids. The only thing I did not like was that housekeeping was knocking on the door beginning at 9:30AM & checkout wasn’t until 11! But overall stay was great!

Hotel seemed clean but room felt dirty. Was very humid in the room and sheets felt damp. Found a hair on mg sheets . Bathroom floor was dirty. There was a random black washcloth on the bathroom vanity with hair on it. This hotel has white towels and linens .

What a nice, clean hotel! Easy to get to from the interstate super easy check in. Staff very sweet..Affordable prices!! Rooms are Huge! Beds comfy. There is even Dove products in the bathrooms.Very nice touch. Breakfast was Delicious! And eating and serving area Super clean. We would Definitely stay here again. Oh, a hot cocoa bar set up in the lobby. Too cute. And with each cup of coffee you have FRESH coffee beans to grind! So many little touches you Do Not see in alot of hotels these days! Kudos to you Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tuscaloosa-University.

The shower shows signs of mold and the bathroom as a whole wasn't as clean as I'd expect. They forgot to dust some of the main furniture in the room too. Not my favorite place.

Nice Greeting. One problem was I asked for a room NOT BY THE ELEVATOR OR ICE MACHINE I am a very light sleeper The room we were given was right across from the elevator. But it was a suite so I didn’t heat too much

Only thing that wasn’t great was a low beeping sound! Only half of my family could hear it and the other half couldn’t! When I researched what it could be, I finally decided it must be a faulty USB charging port. Other than that the stay was great!

My only complaint is that the beds are much too high. I’m short and 72 years old. It was impossible for me to get in the bed. I had to go to Home Depot and buy a step ladder (an extra expense). I don’t see any reason why the beds should be that high. Seems like a liability to me.

Room was clean and spacious. Front desk was friendly. Check in was a breeze. Continental breakfast was good with a wide variety of foods. The reason I gave 4 stars is because check out is 11am and at 9am housekeeping was knocking on door. We had the do not disturb sign on the door. Then they came back knocking again half hour later. Felt very rushed to leave.

Close to the university in a great location for food or any shopping you might need to do. Very, very kind and helpful staff. We arrived very late and we were greeted with kindness and care as we gpt checked in so we could get the kids into bed. Comfortable and clean rooms, with a great breakfast and coffee station.

The breakfast buffet here was AMAZING!! Super clean, well stocked no matter how early or late you arrived, and food was well prepared. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful no matter the shift...day and night clerks all great.
