Check in was quick and easy with very friendly staff. Just as an FYI there is no elevator. Not a huge deal for us, but could be for others that may not know. We were disappointed that the pool was not well maintained. It smelled like dirty dishwater and was so cloudy. It put a damper on the trip. The beds were firmer than my taste but comfy. LOVED the pillows! AC worked great as did the fridge. The room was clean. The shower curtain wouldn’t stay pulled even with using the magnets so water got all over the floor. Overall good experience & would stay again, just wouldn’t bank on the pool being up to snuff.

Affordable stay in Tuscaloosa. Basic needs met except an elevator to second floor. The workout room and pool could use a makeover but other areas have been done. Like that they have coffee and tea available. Offerings of water, soda and snacks were very affordable.

It's a dump. Property isn't in good condition. People out smoking on the steps so you have to walk through their smoke to get to an upstairs room. Pool covered in pollen and loads of mosquitoes.

This is a 2 story (NO ELEVATOR AVAILABLE) non-smoking hotel but our room reeked of smoke, permeating all fabric. The window was bolted shut so we couldn't air it out. The hotel was fully booked so we couldn't change rooms. We had to leave the door to the hallway open for a couple of hours to try to air it out. Front desk staff was nice, but unable to do anything to rectify the smoke issue. Apart from reeking of smoke, the room wasn't bad. The beds were comfortable (although the 2 pillows were hard). The bathroom was small but cute, and I liked that Dove shampoo/conditioner and lotion were options in the dispensing jars. Unfortunately, the conditioner was empty. It was odd that no soap/ bodywash was available. The only real issue in the bathroom was the vent that was covered in mildew. The breakfast was pretty good with a couple of additional options differing from the norm: pancakes, oatmeal creme pies, and an open conveyor-belt toaster to make the perfect toast. The coffee bar was delightful, with a wide array of delicous creamer options (which made the coffee good). Fitness room was lacking - no weights and the sole treadmill was broken (sign was faded so obviously broken for quite some time). Only working equipment were a bike and elliptical machine. TV doesn't work, phone is missing the handpiece, and the water tank was completely empty. There is 1 washer and dryer available for guest use. Outdoor pool was closed/covered.

The room was clean. Hate the pool closed at 9 and didn’t open back up till 10. Staying with granddaughter she wanted to swim but check out is 11. So pool needs to open earlier and maybe stay open till 10. It is summer time.

I like this property - the pool and fenced outdoor area is great to hang out around after a days work- The business King suite I always get is clean, well stocked with the traveler's essentials, the lobby and breakfast area is spacious and welcoming - never have a problem when I come to this property -

It was a little run down. I needed to print something for work and the printer wasn't working and the computer had multiple tabs open with questionable content sites. I closed them all. No elevator and of course I tripped and fell going up the stairs. No bottled water in the room. Very very average at best. Staff was polite though.

I travel often and stay in a variety of hotels from budget to high end. Even budget hotels can, in the least, be clean and not broken down. This hotel was dirty, trash on the grounds around hotel, pool was unusable due to lack of care, the room itself was dank and musty; the bathroom door was rusted off the hinges and the furniture in the room was broken.

We was in a room the rug was wet and water was coming up thru the floor th ere was toys left underthe bed by another guess and the bed had bedbugs, the moved us to another r oom and it had dead bugs in the tub and the toliet wasn't working properly and the house keeper didn't speak english never again will we go to this hotel

In room Air-conditioning was so loud. It must have bad barrings because it had a high pitched squeek which seemed to just get louder. I had to argue with the manager about why I needed an extra cot. I thought our mini-suite had ample beds for 5 adults. It had a king and a pull out sofa bed. He thought 3 of us should just share a king. They did bring an extra cot. I just didnt understand what the big deal was. Would not stay there again.

As with so many chain hotel properties these days, renovations and upgrades have been made but there are still signs of wear and age. This Ramada was no exception, yet it was clean and I slept well. I don't eat what many hotels call a continental breakfast so I can't comment on that.

We stopped here to sleep on our way to NOLA. The property and room was clean, and the night attendant was friendly and pleasant. She gave us the option to pay the deposit in cash and I hesitated to do so-I told her "we have to check out at 4a.m.we have an appointment in New Orleans, will someone be here for that?"-she smiled and assured me someone is always around. Well when it came time to check out I went down to the front desk and it was vacant.....for over an hour I called repeatedly(3diff.numbers) I knocked on all the office doors that were not hotel rooms, I hollered for someone and finally had to call reservations who contacted corporate to get a hold of someone that could assure me they would send it to me later and it was okay to leave w/o seeing an employee, that was after 5 a.m. Finally around 7a.m. someone called me about the key I left on the computer at the front desk and asked my cash app to send the deposit and an extra $20 for my inconvenience, saying the employee was fixing a tv in another room-riight for over an hour--when I specifically notified you of my check out time. Whatever that guy should be fired cuz he fell asleep.

The area is less than desirable. The pictures online make this property look way better than it really is. The rooms are warn out. There were a few questionable people hanging around the property which made my family feel very uncomfortable. The only good thing is that the staff was pleasant and attentive. I however would not stay there again.

I hate to knock a property, but here we go. If you want to save money and don’t care about anything else, it’s fine. But the rooms either face the pool or the parking lot, like a motel. The area doesn’t feel safe at all and it is super noisy. The room was clean, so there’s that, but spend an extra $50 or $100 and stay somewhere else.

Couldn\'t get our TV to work in the room. Tried calling the front desk numerous times with no answer. Ended up walking to the Front Desk and was told, would have to wait until tomorrow morning to have issue resolved. I should have insisted on a discount because it was late. The next day, we went to have breakfast, and they were almost out of everything, despite it only being 8:30 on Saturday morning. When asked about more food, person responded, "Sorry no English". Very disappointed with the lack of customer service.

This property is very average. The bed linens and towels were good however even though we hung the towels they were replaced thus adding to laundry. The food was awful and I didnt like their use of disposable rather than refillable toiletry bottles and styrofoam cups.

Stayed here after Bama game. It was ok ( besides the complimentary breakfast which was terrible ) Definitely wasn’t $500 a night hotel but that’s the price you’re stuck with on game day weekends.
