One of my main concerns when staying in a hotel is the comfort of the bed, and this place did not disappoint. The bed was plush and soft, comfort was great. Staff was nice too. The not so good was the shower. Low water pressure and the tub drained very slowly so I was standing in dirty water at the end of the shower. There was no clock in the room. The windows all face the inside of the lobby so if you like a view or bright sunshine in the morning, you won't find that here. Also, it amazes me they charge 16 bucks per person for breakfast. The selection is no greater than free continental breakfasts at other hotels, and I opened one of the warmers and saw dark, unappetizing biscuits. Who would pay 16 bucks for this?! We didn't, Overall not a bad place but will probably not stay again. At $146 for one night and no free breakfast seems steep to me, and that's my main reason for giving a 3 star rating instead of 4.

I am marking the overall rating as good because of comfortable beds & clean barhrooms. However, this hotel has some positives and negatives & we would not stay here again. The positives: Quiet Comfortable beds Clean bathrooms Good climate control in the bedrooms The negatives: Many rooms face inwards with views of a wall. We were assigned a room on the 3rd floor that was quiet, but you open the curtain and saw a wall. We asked to be moved to a room that faced outside and the front desk attendant was helpful in making the change, but the air conditioning was not working, so we had to be moved to a 3rd room. The facility has some severe maintenance issues. While the property is clean for the most part, there are places that need maintenance done. The elevators were scuffed, chipped, etc., some worse than 2-star hotels. The parking lot is cracked and not in good condition. They are renovating the outside of the hotel so that is good but construction happening. The hotel is pretty deserted with not much help available. The lobby is large & spacious with high ceilings, some comfortable couches, but the vibe is cold/industrial. There is a bar with nobody manning it. The breakfast was ok but not wonderful. The bread products were not that fresh. The hot foods were tasty but cold, and nobody was around for 10 minutes to get help. There was a nice select of fresh fruit & juice. The location of the hotel is within a 10-minute drive to attractions but on a very busy road.
