The Hotel looks very nice and has a nice pool area. I did NOT like the undisclosed $35 parking fee, they NEED TO STATE THAT on the listing!!! Plus the extremely loud air conditioner in our room. Due to the layout of the building and elevator location it can be a long walk to the room/elevator.

Love the renaissance temperature of the pool water is perfect if you prefer it on the warmer side. The pool hours are 8:00am to 8:00pm closes to early, 10:00pm would be better considering the hot summer nights

Called ahead and told staff I had a large 35 foot boat and told them I needed a safe place to park and they charged me for parking! I parked on the public street several blocks away! The pool closed way too early for a resort town in the summer.

Loved the resort but the accommodations like having the new functional pool furniture up front by the pool would have been helpful. Instead they placed the broken loungers upfront where no one used them because you can literally fall thru the bottom. And they placed the new stuff in the very back of the pool area????

There was an inconvenience with elevator access. It really would be the biggest issue for this hotel. Only one and for where my room was located made me feel this would be something to consider next time. Also although the lobby was clean the hotel halls were not. I understand its guest who are leaving trash behind but i feel maintenance should go around to pick up from time to time. There were straw wrappers, a plastic cup on the floor an an mcdonald's cup on a table . Miscellaneous trash when i got got off the elevators on various floors.

Parking not great, there is a street behind the hotel if you want to avoid the $35.00 parking fee. This needs to be removed. Pool is very spacious and accommodates many people but sadly dated and in need of cement repairs. Wonderful beds! So comfortable. Very quiet rooms, I couldn’t hardly hear other guests from my room. Love the little convenient store inside the hotel.

Husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We had a king suite which faced the pool. The Saturday night 2 person band in the lounge was awesome. They take requests. The male singer can sing high and he did Adele's Skyfall and did an amazing job! As stated by others there really isn't alot for kids here except the pool. And as for walking distance to downtown, it is walkable in reasonable weather however during our visit the temp was like 40C/100F and we found it too hot to walk so we would uber it downtown for dinner and then walk back when the sun was starting to set and the temp became more reasonable. The walk is 10-15mins one way and there is no significant shade. The pool drinks were great. The pool is big and there's lots of sitting room around the pool but there wasn't enough umbrellas for those of us fair-skinned folk who burn easily-and it wasn't even high season. Our sink wasn't draining and when I informed the desk that we were going for dinner they could send someone up it was fixed by the time we got back. Good service!! I can't comment on housekeeping services as we chose to forgo housekeeping but the room was very clean when we arrived and my husband loved the shower. Good power from the sprayer. Beds were comfy and I'm a picky pillow person who only sleeps with feather pillows but even I found the pillows useable. Overall would stay there again.

Our room had ants and a very wet spot on the carpe by the fridge, indicating a water leak. When we opened the door to the fridge, the wood was totally warped and the leak has been there for quite a while. We called and they sent someone up to look at the water on the carpet while we were gone. Never heard anything back. The bathroom had stains on the walls, looked like blood. The bathroom also didn’t come with a vent, so after showering it made the entire room super muggy and hot. Pool area was full of trash, empty alcohol cups everywhere, and napkins in the pool. Also, we got a call to our room in the night, waking us up, to tell us our Grub Hub was delivered and ready to be picked up. We didn’t order anything. Just not as nice as we expected being that we paid more for it.

Everyone is so courteous and attentive to your needs. The room we got had a dirty bathroom floor, the carpet was old and very stained and I did not use the pull out couch because it was dirty and smelly

I was surprised how dated and dilapidated this Palm Springs hotel was upon arrival. The entry and reception flooring was filthy, the elevator and baseboards and windowsills were all bunged up and our room was very neglected with an old bed, bouncy mattress and average quality sheets and towels. This place is in a great location with wonderful staff, but…needs a major makeover!

Property was build many years ago, and they must to make new AirConditioning system. That they gave now it terrible: the noise from heating or Collings is terrible. If this happened at night - you cannot sleep. All building need AirConditioning renovation.

It is a good location. However, for the rate of $499 a night it was poor. Our room overlooked an alley. The ac didn't cool the sleeping area and it took 2-3 minutes to get hot water. The wifi was down for the entire trip. For what we paid it was not good value at all.

i liked that the location was within walking distance to the downtown palm springs area and a local casino. the staff was very pleasant and helpful. the room was clean and spacious and quite. no complaints whatsoever. the pool area was also well kept and spacious. no complaints whatsoever. will return

The area was great but the staff was terrible. We had a 3 night stay that was to be no more than $700 total, but the concierge held about $2000 on our card by mistake. I understand mistakes are made at times but the process to get the funds reversed was terrible by the staff. Multiple internal transfers, long hold times, and a few hang ups. Of course, they tried to blame us for the incident as well. Oh, and the staff told us parking was complimentary, but the billing team told us they were not responsible for what the field staff advises, so we were charged for it as well. Very bad experience.

Lock on room door broke. Two hours to get back into room. Poor front desk customer service. Requested to speak with manager as front desk staff would not provide estimated time for repair. This after going 5 times to front desk to get a replacement card key. Concierge gave us 2 free drinks at the bar while other guests were given free drinks in the lobby. Biggest compliment was customer service from front desk staff.

The staff were very pleasant and friendly but the service in the bar area and around the pool was noticeably slow. When we went back to our room one evening, around 9pm, there were half eaten chicken wings scattered around the hallway! The rooms could do with an update, a lot of chipped and bumped paintwork. The beds weren’t very comfy, mattress was saggy in the middle.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at The Renaissance…it was an awesome experience to be remembered by Kean and one of their managers, Gordon! We were checked in by Fern, who was also professional, friendly and very helpful. I also will like to mention Janeth and Mike at the restaurant, on Monday October 14th; their service, friendliness truly was 10 🙌the mimosas were beautifully decorated with fresh fruit and the food was delicious. We will definitely come back! We love the hotel’s location as you can walk to downtown Palm Springs, casino and a lot more.

On a scale of 1-10, I’d give my stay a 100. From the Manager and general staff to the outstanding Concierge Gordon, who made my family feel welcome, special and valued; this was the absolute best stay. We've stayed at a various hotels in Palm Springs for over 20 years. Hands down best location, nice pool, and fantastic service.

Delayed check in for my room, I had to wait 1 1/2 hour for the room, and the hotel staff had me waiting for a room that was not going to be available until the next day. I checked in and booked my room almost a month in advance and this delay should not have occurred. The staff did not do a good job communicating with me especially when my wife and I were holding onto our luggage in the lobby the whole time.

Front desk staff was very friendly, check in was fast and got there early they had room ready. Also I lost my smart watch front desk worker young man helped me look around and he found it. I would definitely stay here again. staff is amazing and close to walk to main street. pool area was nice we had lots fun.

We had a great time at the Renaissance Palm Springs . The pool area was fabulous, similar to being at a resort in Mexico. The place was clean, and the bartending service was really good. I would highly recommend this hotel again.. Located very close to the airport as well as area hotspots

My stay was awesome. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and the robe was cozy. I went to the bar after a difficult day, and the bartender made an amazing drink that made the day much better. However, there was an event that was taking place, which made parking a challenge. Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say.

Lovely lobby, very friendly staff, large room, and great pool were all appreciated. Unfortunately, we will not return because the restaurant food was lousy... we tried three meals, each of which looked good and tasted terrible. It was brutally hot outside and we had counted on being able to eat in the hotel, but we finally accepted that we could not. Luckily, there are many good restaurants nearby... but parking is challenging...and walking in 100 degrees is not fun....

My wife and I enjoyed a little getaway weekend and gave Renaissance a try for some quality pool and fun time! The best part of our stay was the service, most notably by Charlie at the bar/pool bar. Incredibly kind and attentive. Jeremy was also a solid bartender/mixologist and made an amazing Pineapple Express drink. We will definitely be back!
