Front desk staff was very kind and pleasant. Pool was freezing, it is not heated but with Palmdale weather in the middle of the day would probably be nice. Carpet in our room was old and stained but room was pretty clean overall. Bed was comfortable.

The price was excellent. The property overall was in good shape, clean, clean grounds, and common areas. And very kind, courteous, and competent Night Desk, Housecleaning, and Excellent morning breakfast & breakfast Serving staff. (I even remember jotting down the following notes during my stay:"ELVIS" front desk, "Anna" housekeeping; and "Jeremy" & "Esperanza" Morning Breakfast Servers & Cook were excelllent)." The only exception to this very good overall experience at this property, was that one of the two elevators was not in service during the three days I was there. Apart from that: price, personnel, property, and very good breakfasts made me feel very good coming back every day, after a succession of funeral related events, which were the reason for my visit to Palmdale.

Very convenient location right off the freeway. Very clean. Restaurant/bar open from 5 - 10 (Would have been nice if it was open earlier...) friendly staff. Very clean. My one and only complaint is that there were only two bed pillows and two towels, one wash cloth for two people. Other than that great stay.

Worst hotel ever! In the first room the shower didn’t work so after unpacking I had to repack and move to another room. Then the water had smelled like rotten eggs and the towels were dirty with someone else’s hair still on the towel. Also the elevator smelled like weed so bad. Horrible hotel

This Holiday Inn was mostly good. The area is a little sketchy. The room was clean except for black mold on the ceiling in the shower! (Room 522) That was pretty outrageous. My biggest complaint is probably Expedia's fault, not the hotel's. I made a reservation for 5 people and the hotel only accommodates 4 people to a room. Our 5th person had no place to sleep and had to sleep in the car. I even paid an extra fee for the 5th person. I will be asking for a refund due to the toxic black mold and lack of beds.

Staff was very friendly. There was hair on our pillows... not 1 strand, but a total of 6 strands.... and hair on the bathroom floor. Long dark hair. My daughter and I do not have dark hair. It was too late in the evening to try to remedy.

The property was OK. The room smells so bad. We got asked to transfer to another room and had a wait a couple more hours all the other hotels all the holiday ends have breakfast included. We went down to breakfast and they said we had to pay never had to do that I was quite surprised my nieces stated the other hotels right across Doubletree. They got their breakfast included and paid less $30 less.

I was most impressed by the staff, ease of check-in, and most especially the awesome level of soundproofing in our room. I could see traffic from our window including large trucks but could not hear a thing! We slept like babies here! Comfy bed. Everything super clean. Would definitely stay again. Great value.

The check in was the worst experience I have had in a long time. Hotel said reservation was for the following month and they couldnt help since it was booked through hotels.com. Being able to talk to hotels.com was a 30-45 min wait on hold. Just to be told the dates were correct and the hotel staff should have the correct dates. At the end had to be given a refund for a hotel stay and rebook there at the hotel counter.

Front desk was great. Breakfast was good but they ran out of coffee at 9am and was not making any more. The night manager/waitress long black hair and glasses was rude and would walk by us as if she didn’t see us. We even rented the banquet room and had no service in there. Even if we tried to order in there they said no go outside to the restaurant order. Terrible service. The morning staff was much better except for not making more coffee in an all you can eat breakfast buffet

We stayed here two weekends in a row 10/25-26 11/1-2 and the staff from front desk to house keeping were amazing very friendly, professional made you feel right at home. We would like to especially thank Tatiana, from the kitchen and night shift from desk, Shawn both went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and smooth as possible. The neighborhood seems good. But the restaurant around the corner has an armed guard at the door. Waitress says its kinda the border between the bad side of town and the better side of town. She said there hasnt been any problems since shes worked there, and she feels safer going to her car at night with him there.

Our stay was overall really great. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The only thing that could make it better is when you go on line and book your room, they do not rellyou that your breakfast is NOT included so we dished out 40.00 more dollars. Also, they have a hard time keeping the breakfast warm. Otherwise, a great breakfast, lots of choices.

Three strikes against it: 1. One of two elevators was out of order. The remaining elevator was slow. 2. There were only two luggage carts. For a hotel of this size, they needed more. 3. The toilets don't have lids. This makes showering awkward, since there's no place to put your clothes. In turn, this makes traveling with your family difficult, as it means getting dressed on the bed. Other than those, a comfortable enough stay. I would use it again, but I won't rush to use it. Free parking. They charge for breakfast. Free coffee in the lobby, but not available at all times.
