Clean and well maintained property. Nice breakfast. You can tell the staff really cares about this hotel. The only small complaint I have is that you can hear people walking in the rooms above you. Best to get an upstairs room. Otherwise, this property is a terrific value and nicely located, with ample parking.

Wonderful breakfast and really appreciated the steel dinnerware instead of the flimsy plastic junk at most hotel breakfasts. Check in was fast and the desk clerk was very helpful. Parking was plentiful but somewhat tight on the back lot. We spent 3 nights there and will stay again the next time we are in the area.

Very nice property, we stayed 4 nights and it met all of our needs. The breakfast was fantastic with numerous choices. The pool was small but it was never crowded. Just minutes from the ocean either by car or by foot.

Hotel is in a beautiful location half mile or so from the Pacific Ocean and beautiful clean and safe beaches. Staff is friendly and efficient, room is clean, the hot breakfast was delicious and eating outside poolside was so relaxing! My favs are the indoor jacuzzi, underground parking (keeps the car safe and clean) with elevator straight up to our room on the third (top) floor and the in-room microwave. Having a microwave on top of the refrigerator saved a lot of $$ on not having to eat meals out every night. Wonderful experience at this Best Western Plus Redondo Beach.

This property includes interior and exterior rooms. I requested an interior room and was upgraded to the third floor because I do have a Best Western Rewards membership (it just doesn't count when you booth through Expedia). That room was lovely, very comfortable and clean, and modern. One of the best BWs I've been in for a long time. The buffet breakfast is ok with a fair selection, but nothing terribly special. The 24/7 coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby was a nice touch. Short walk to shopping, beach, and lots of restaurants.

The property is really dirty from the floor carpet on the hall to the carpet inside the room. The beds are not clean that the bed bugs bite my face. It made my face swell up and was itching badly. The beds and pillows are also not comfortable. I really disappointed. The receptionist was outstanding, knowledgable, nice and very helpful.

The last time I stayed here, I was in the main building and everything was great. This time, my room was in the back building. The front door was very difficult to open since it’s stuck. So I had to use a lot of force which made a lot of noise. There is no way that a very elderly or disabled person could enter the room. The carpet was dirty which made my feet get brown. Had to wear shoes inside. But the thing that made me irritated, was when I got poked by a small shard of glass which made my foot bleed. These incidents are unfortunate and I hope management can rectify these problems before someone really gets hurt.

Not updated, but they don’t need to be because it’s the best location. Shower was below average, toilet flushing was terrible. They need to put some money in to the building. Smelled of mildew and things were damp. Housekeeping staff gets 10/10, they were warm friendly and accommodating

The room smelled horrible! Smelled like mold or something similar. Feels like a renovated motel, but they just fixed up what you can se with your eyes, not the problem “behind the wall”. I would not recommend this hotel. There are better one’s in Redondo beach.

Rooms are very old and dated. A/C makes rattling sounds all night long. Shower is very difficult to turn on with tiny little knob to pull out. Just gave up on that. Couch in the room was full of stains, didn’t want to sit on it. No safe in room. Nice lobby and pool area. Good location

Good location to shopping and beaches. My room had an a joining door to the next room which was locked but very thin. I could hear everything going on the room next to mine…until they finally quieted down around 2am (multiple nights). Political flags and anti-ICE signs posted were off putting and unnecessary.

We booked through Hotels.com, and they goofed: We thought we were getting a Deluxe room, which is what we usually stay in (we are Best Western members, and won't reserve through a third party ever again). The regular room had an unpleasant odor, and the night manager Monica checked out several rooms with me until we found one that was better. However, it had a super noisy heater that cycled on and off all night (which kept me awake) and was on an exterior, noisier walk way, not in the main building, so the next day she upgraded us to the Deluxe room we had wanted all along. Monica went over and above to make us happy. Best Western, we have one suggestion for the next time you upgrade: Showers are much more pleasant with glass doors and a hand shower option rather than just a shower head and shower curtain.

The breakfast was great and the service by the woman who takes care of the restaurant was amazing. Our room was great but next time we’ll ask to put in a room away from PCH. Our 2nd night was awful. There was a family that was checked in next door with a baby that cried horrifically for hours. We called the front desk but never heard the phone ring next door. We were up all night upset and frustrated. So much so, we cut our trip short. The front desk staff are less than professional, friendly or accommodating. Trying to speak to the front desk manager Anthony was a waste of time. He’s very sullen, lazy and unprofessional. He actually said to me “You can go ahead and stand there and look at me like that.” When I was dissatisfied with his service. In our stay, I never saw him move out of his chair or greet any guests, including myself or my husband separately or together. All in all you’ve lost a customer. We’ll find accommodations elsewhere.

We loved staying here!! Hotel could use some updates - but honestly - it's very clean and a great place to stay! The entire staff is wonderful- very helpful and accommodating! I would have given five stars across the board but front desk staff was unwelcoming and not attentive. Seemed like they would rather be anywhere else than working here. Rooms were really nice, good breakfast and convenient location.

We notified the front desk that the refrigerator wasn’t working upon check in. Within 20 minutes we had a new working fridge. Quick response time, thank you! The breakfast was good and the property was extremely clean. An employee was even sweeping the parking lot! I’ll definitely be returning here.

Close to the beach, clean and a good breakfast. Lots of grocery stores and restaurants in the area. About a 20- 25 minute walk to the pier, with lots a restaurants on the lower portion. There is a farmers market with fresh fruit on beside Trader Joe’s about a 5 minute walk. About 30 minutes from LAX and bus stops beside about a block from the hotel.

Chose this place for their breakfast comments that were good, but it was terrible. Only 1 option of eggs available (like eggs in forms of pancakes) at least only provide scrambled eggs. They don't even have water in the breakfast room you have to go to the hall. I wouldn't stay again here just for their breakfast. Rooms were comfortable though and personal was nice.
