Seaside Motel

The room was clean, there were enough parking's (few inside), and the location was great for quick access to LAX.

Small little motel but the room was pleasant. Free coffee in the morning. Parking lot was a little small but it felt extremely safe. Guest laundry available. Tons of food choices in the area within walking distance. Great prices for the weekend.

Bedding, carpet and paint were old. Single queen room was cramped and not well kept, holes in bathroom wall was stuffed with tissue paper and towel hanger was barely hanging on by one screw. We went out for a couple of hours to come back to find ac was turned off and window was wide open with our electronics in the room. Parking was terrible, most guests had to park in the streets.

45 minute walk to beach. Good food nearby. Rooms clean. No pool.

Not a bad place. Parking was a little tight. The person in the office got a little annoyed when I couldn't find my room key and asked for another. Other than that it wasn't bad.

Had to park on the street every night as we came back late and there are only 17 parking places. People are very friendly place is clean.

Cute clean cozy hotel. Parking is limited in the entire area. I had to park on the street several nights but I was literally right outside the hotel parking lot. So not a big deal. Very peaceful rooms. Would stay there again.

Pictures are deceiving about this place. Rooms are cramped, furniture is old and dated, wood was chipped in my room. TV even though I don’t watch it often, was ridiculously small. And the parking… “is first come, first serve,” or you’re on the street.

There was someone already sleeping in the room . Second room had two dead cockroaches. Service was very nice though.

I stayed here for 5 nights while on a work trip. This is a great option for the price. The property has a pleasant and personal touch to it with very clean rooms, sheets/pillows and bathrooms. The family that manages this motel take pride in the property and are very nice people. Coffee machine downstairs is easy and quick to use. I would definitely stay here again.

The showers need to be scrubbed theres alot of soap scum at the bottom and black build up. No extra pillows or blankets. The rooms are also pretty small... theres better options for a better price that are even closer to the ocean than this hotel. Overall it wasnt dirty, area was ok but ive had better rooms an experiences at other locations for the same price.

The gentleman that checked me in was kind & personable. I knew it was a motel, but because of the rating I expected it to be decent. Maybe some of the other rooms were, but ours was horrible. It smelled old & musty, the carpet looked questionable and there was a serious mold problem in the bathroom - around the toilet, inside the shower & outside the shower. They said they had no other rooms available & it was a budget trip. That area can be quite expensive. We decided to consider it an adventure. We got some air freshener and disinfectant & went to work in the room. Now the fun part...at around 2:00 a.m., a woman burst into our room, flipped on the light and started screaming. Apparently, she was freaked out because she had been checked into the same room. It was kind of funny! When she saw us in bed, asleep, she could have turned the light off, closed the door & gone back to the front desk. But no! She had to freak out. We were the ones that should have been screaming. LOL! So, in summary, the place was filthy and inefficient. Not a chance in Hades we would go back. I can't imagine any scenario where the Seaside Motel could be rated WONDERFUL!

Room was ok. Bed was actually firm enough to not hurt my back, but the water from the shower, sink and toilet smelled like sewage.

The water smelled like sewer and made the entire room smell disgusting.

I initially had some reservations about staying in a “beach motel” in southern California without knowing the area. My reservations subsided as soon as I checked in. I was extremely happy with my stay at the Seaside Motel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in including 5-star hotels.

It didn’t feel or smell clean in our room. Beds were comfortable but I didn’t feel clean overall.

Nice that there was a full kitchen. Staff very friendly. Had a great sleep!

We were assigned the room closest to the road and it was really loud. Could not sleep well. Also, the bed was uncomfortable. Maybe if you get a different room it would be okay. Nice that there was parking on site.

Fairly small rooms but were nice equipped with microwave, 'fridge, and other amenities. The desk person on Oct. 17, 2024, nicely waved a couple of fees he could've charged me for, so I appreciated that!

Pleasant, humble motel amidst the Santa Monica business district. It's not 'seaside', but a good two or three mile walk will get you there. The Wi-Fi is just passable (with no security), and the flat screen TV just gets basic TV channels, no streaming media. It's reasonably priced considering the other options available. I’d come back.

This was just what we needed. The space is small but nice. Nicely decorated. Comfy bed. The host was very nice and accommodating. There are two floors but only stairs. Fortunately they gave us a room on the bottom floor.

Clean, but no air conditioning. Gone most of the time, so not terribly bad. Didn’t feel comfortable leaving window open in the evening to ventilate cool air. Room was clean but unfinished. In two rooms wires are hanging out & uncovered. Fire alarms are on top of fridge and not placed on ceiling. The motel is mostly well kept, but if I would of stayed longer than 1 night I would of complained about the TVs with no channels to watch.

Very sweet employee gave us a jump when our car died. Clean rooms, decent firm mattress and good pillows that aren't flat. Starbucks directly across the street and chik filet right behind it, all walkable.

We had a very brief stay but the kind manager called to make sure we were still on for our stay and made check in so easy and fast. The room was quiet and quaint. I’d definitely stay here again! Very convenient and safe area!

We liked the hotel's location, cleanliness, and quick service. However, we asked for a late check-out due to an event, and the housekeeper kept constantly knocking on the door even after we told her that we had a late check-out.

Bobby, the manager was attentive, he made provision for me to check in almost two hours early, he was very considerate. Overall good customer service.

I have been to LA twice. Both times traveling with a granddaughter. Im a 58 yo woman. Not knowing the area at all, i was concerned about location. After reading consistently good reviews, i booked here. The staff is very friendly, the place is clean inside and out. The place is quiet, and safe. Starbucks in front of the hotel, and a Carl's Jr two blocks away and i walked it from some biscuits and felt safe and enjoyed the walk. This is an older charming motel that has been updated. Bed, fridge, microwave. No coffee in room but plenty in the office.

Room apperared clean. Front desk said we were getting a "free upgrade" to a "suite" but it was just the regular room. My sister was also coming in from out of town to stay there too and they told her the same thing. Cleaning service came into the room while we were out and turned off the ac in our room that we had specifically left on because the room was extremely hot. The hotel is on a very busy street and its hard to pull out of the parking lot. Otherwise it was overall fine.

Super motel with a great staff

My reservation was not in the system the front desk man said, even though I called earlier to confirm. It was late at night, he must have been asleep when I arrived. He was very rude and told me to watch my tone. I contemplated staying but it was so late and we were tired from traveling so we stayed. The stay itself was not bad. It is a no frills motel. A place to rest your head in a convenient safe enough area. Parking is first come first serve so if you don’t get a spot you need to park on street. Bed was comfortable and it did appear clean. Will I stay here again? Unfortunately not. The man at the front desk made it the worst check in experience I’ve ever had. While I am grateful he “honored” my reservation even though I called earlier and he said he has my reservation and I had My confirmation from orbitz he provided horrible service and I would rather pay double than go through that experience again.

It was definitely one of the most affordable places in Redondo beach. Great location. Great service. I enjoyed my stay here. There aren't too many parking spaces, but plenty of parking on the street in front. Safe street. And a Starbucks directly across. Right next to a Chick Filet too.

The room was beyond exceptionally clean and smelled springtime fresh. There was coffee and tea available from at least 6 am to 11 pm when I visited the office. Check in was a snap. The manager was more than helpful in helping us find needed resources like a pharmacy and mailing services close by. Though no breakfast or pool was available, I would definitely make this my go-to motel for my next visit to Redondo beach. The manager also gave us more bathroom amenities, such as shampoo, which was needed as both my daughter and I have long hair. He suggested onsite parking might not be be available, but we had no problems finding a spot either during the day or evening and on a weekend too! The area had welcoming potted plants that provided a very cheery aspect. Everything worked: TV, fridge, microwave and hairdryer. They even included a cutting board next to the microwave. The room looked like it had just been painted, including fresh ceiling molding. The only concern I had was the window AC unit and bathroom fan were noisy. Oddly enough though, the AC noise put me to sleep very quickly and I slept like a baby the night through.

Our room was great! Nothing super fancy but it was clean and comfortable. There is a really good Mexican restaurant a block away and Starbucks across the street. I would stay again.

We arrived late, staff was very friendly. Parking simple right on the property. Room had a small kitchen and full size fridge and everything was nice and clean. Bonus, Starbucks right across the street!!

Small but nice room and nice remodeled bath and shower. Coffee in the small office but not in the room. Parking is limited and be careful parking on the street Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00am to 8:00am (see the sign down by Chick fil-A)

Comfortable room the bathroom could have been bigger considering the size of the room. Local restaurants bars and a Starbucks opposite make it convenient.
