Estes Village Inn

Staff was outstanding! Rooms were decorated nicely. You could hear every noise in the rooms around you and outside. I wish the pool would have been open. I also would have liked a firepit with s'mores like the main motel offered.

The hotel definitely caters to the hiker type. No frills, cooler bag and hiking guide in the room, etc. We found the room to be impeccably clean and seemingly newly renovated: new floors, fresh paint, etc. The exterior was a bit of a mess though. In every corner and under the decks were piled broken furniture, building matls, etc. Were only notified at check-in that the pool was OoO bc they didn’t pass their inspection due to a leak. Isn’t inspection at the BEGINNING of summer? Our stay was in mid-Sept. Why weren't we notified? Also, good thing we were awake by 8am Mon bc the work crew starting pounding on something w sledgehammers for an hour straight. Breakfast was meh. But the front desk staff was friendly and helpful and the cleaning staff was fastidious. Mgmt shldv warned about construction and pool issues as soon as we booked though, so we cldv made an informed decision.

Nice rooms. Great lobby. Great staff. However the property is a little rundown. Pool was not usable and doesn’t look like has been.

One of our rooms wasn’t ready at 630pm. TVs didn’t work. Pool was closed. Dirty towel on my balcony.

Property is still brand new and not all amenities were available at the time we visited, including breakfast and swimming pool, we were sent to the main Trailborn Hotel instead. Staffs were friendly but didn’t get our room cleaned once during our 3 nights stay, not sure if this is due to understaff or lack of guest visit during the time. Water pressure in the shower was horrible and the air conditioner was way too loud. Besides all the negatives, beds were comfortable and the location was convenient if you want to be close to everything in town.

Cool place to stay when visiting Estes Park. Not as many amenities as in the main Trailborn property.

Husband over 70 and cannot walk very well. The steps to room were all closed because of construction. Also, toilet blocked

Cheap roadside motel that was renovated poorly. We couldn\'t wait to leave the room, so we left at 6:30am. Shower drain was clogged and almost flooded the bathroom. Water was not going down, even after 15min. My husband was unable to shower after me. The receptionist said someone else had told him about it 3 days ago. Road noise prevented us from sleeping as well as old AC unit that would go on every 15min. Old windows and sliding doors from 1970 were stuck. We were unable to let fresh air in. Pool was out of seervuce. "Breakfast" was frozen muffins and sliced bread still in the plastic bag. No sitting area. A joke - not worth $430. A total rip off. I would have preferred to sleep in my car.

When i arrived i was told expedia messed up and over booked the wrong room then after being shown the room the door would not close all the way unless you lifted up and pushed in to get it to lock. After letting the front desk employee know that was security issue i was moved to another room that had stains on the bedding and was dirty. None of the amenities that are shown online where available at this location you have to drive across town to there other location and for a discount can enjoy there amenities also the pool was not functional

Staff was friendly. There was hair in the tub. Water bottle lids on the floor. Pool is out of service. Had to pick up construction screws in the parking lot, before we could drive. Prepare for "incidental charges of $250 on top of your room bill that they hold for 3 to 5 days.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was very nice and helpful. Location is ideal. Room was very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this property.

The shower drain was also clogged and backed up and there is a $250 up front incidental fee not listed on Expedia that we were not expecting. 2/5 stars

This property was newly renovated so it was nice to have a new, clean, room. It was close to everything we wanted to do in town. The staff was great!

Loved our stay here and would come back. Rooms were updated and clean. View of the mountains were amazing and elk near by. Great location near shopping and national park entrance.

We had a wonderful visit. The room was clean and very nice. Our dog was very happy and felt safe there when we left. We loved how close to town it was and how easily accessible it was to everything. We definitely will go back and stay especially if we are traveling with our pup!

I called to talk about early check in and the man on the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me. When we got there the woman at the front desk was much nicer and we were able to check in early. Our room did not have hot water and our tv didn’t work which was pretty frustrating. The AC didn’t work either so our room was extremely hot. When leaving, the woman at the front desk was extremely apologetic and kind which we appreciated. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

We unfortunately did not have a good stay. We were there for a wedding and we were called the morning of to let us know they double booked our room and that we could either downgrade to a different room (at the same price) or they had one more king suite but the TV is broken and that they would give us a discount. We decided to take the king suite at a discount. Upon arrival, we also discovered the AC was also broken. It was 90 degrees outside and it felt just as hot inside. When we called the desk, they said there was no maintenance workers there on the weekend but that they can bring us a couple of box fans. This essentially just circulated the hot air and did not cool it down. When I approached them about it, they said they could “maybe” get me another discount. When we checked out I brought it all up again and they said they would hopefully be able to get me a discount and they would be in touch. We have yet to hear anything. And for $300 a night I am really frustrated and disappointed in this property! We will not be staying here again and we will make sure everyone else also knows about what happened and to choose a different location to stay instead.

seems like a remodeled motel - old structure with room door can’t be closed, and no sound proofing that you can hear whenever your neighboring guests use restroom, & no elevator either if you have to carry heavy luggage & gear upstairs.

Only downside to this place was hearing the people above us. When they walked it was quite loud. Other than that, it was an amazing place to stay in Estes. Very comfortable bed, good amenities, and close to downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

This is more like a motel. Walls are super thin. Neighbors were loudly talking way past quiet time, with their TV on. We spoke to The front desk multiple times in vain. We hardly got any sleep.

Peaceful quiet hotel. Not overrun with tourists. Friendly and helpful staff. Booked the in room camping experience for my autistic daughter and it was worth every penny to help her relax after a long day hiking and being overstimulated. So thankful. The building in the back we were in saw elk family, bunnies, chipmunks lots during our stay.

I checked in at 5:30pm and they weren't sure the room was ready. Check-in process was very slow. Check-out was very slow. When I got to breakfast at 8:20am, there were 2 English muffins, 4 muffins, 3 yogurts, and oranges available. No napkins, no place to sit.

The young man at the help desk lied to us about cancelling our reservations. We did not stay there and they charged us the whole amount. Should have only charged us for one nights stay. The room was old and moldy smelling with no mountain view. I would not recommend anyone staying there. You need to change what you have on the internet as this is false advertising.

I can't honestly review TRMO since when we arrived with a pre-paid reservation, they didn't have a room for us. Connor was very nice and booked us in a room at their sister hotel which was very nice. Unfortunately, they charged us again for two nights. This still has not been resolved. They blamed it on Expedia. Not sure who is at fault, but it was a very frustrating experience.

Property was as expected for the price. Staff was nice and room was clean.

This place is located in a perfect area to walk. Great customer service rooms are nice and clean and comfortable parking lot is Quiet. I’d stay here again.

Trailborn Rocky Mountains is such an amazing place to stay when visiting Estes Park! The lobby is very chic and a great place to work before setting of on hikes and activities. The rooms are very cozy and incredibly clean. I was very pleasantly surprised to find the rooms are as spacious as they seem on the website. We loved the breakfast burritos and tacos guacamole for dinner. My friends and I have a bunch of food allergies/restrictions and the team was incredibly accommodating and very sweet. S'mores on the back deck were a fun way to round out the day –– Trailborn even offered Reese's in addition to regular chocolate! Can't recommend this hotel enough. It's such a great getaway for couples, friends, families, and even solo travelers!

Trailborn Rocky Mountains Outpost was exactly what I wanted for my trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. My room was so cute and comfy with a nice balcony that had a great view of the mountains. The complimentary breakfast and coffee was delicious, and I loved the onsite market with branded merchandise. I REALLY loved going over to the sister property, Trailborn Rocky Mountains, for a breakfast burrito at Casa Colina and s'mores at night. I also highly recommend signing up for their custom experiences. I went fly fishing (for the very first time) and it made the trip. Could not recommend more!
