What a worse experience ever, I was stuck in the elevator for more than 3 minutes I was going to call 911.

The shower in my room did not have hot water or water pressure which was very inconvenient. The elevator was down for a while. My credit card was erroneously charged several times. The elevator floor was very sticky. I could go on and on.

Dirty linens, room stunk like mildew, pool out of order until further notice, no hot water in shower, screws sticking out of the wall right at knee height

The pool was not working whole week on my vacation

Check in went very smoothly, other than that it was a terrible experience. Front entrance door banged every time it opened. Room was very abused looking with old beat up paint. Headboards were missing alot of fabric covering. No hot water in shower. Finally, the pool was not working.

When we arrived elevator was out of order. We are seniors and only room they had was on 3rd floor. No one to help care suitcases up 3 flights so we had to sleep in our clothes until elevator was fixed next day. Pool under construction and closed…couldn’t even sit outside…Fitness room under renovation. No one told us in advance that these amenities would be unavailable. Supposed to get hot breakfast included but not open-were given breakfast bags and had to make coffee in your room. Not what we expected from description…

The parking lot was very messy, the air-conditioning work great had no trouble with parking, the room itself was clean and tidy. The shower leaked didn’t get the shower. I expected the pool was on maintenance. It wasn’t on the website. Didn’t really care for the breakfast we had trouble sleeping because of all the noise. Very disappointed that the staff wasn’t accommodating. We just wanted an extra pillow and blanket because my husband suffers from diabetes and he was very cold without even looking. They said they didn’t have any. I find that hard to believe I’ve stayed at many La Quinta’s, but this is the worst one yet. Sorry to say I’ll be looking for a credit on my account for this horrendous experience.!!!!!!! my family was disappointed

The gym was closed for renovations. The breakfast was given in lunch bags. The rooms were not the best looking, especially the bathroom.

Don, the front desk, was helpful. Internet was not working, and he solved for me. The hotel is being refurbished, so there was no breakfast (just a bag), no fitness center, and lots of plastic around, hiding the construction mess. The bedroom was Ok, clean and the bed was confortable.

This was a very affordable stay with a pool so I had low expectations. While the staff was very friendly they couldn't make up for the terrible musty smell in the halls and even worse in the room...almost unbearable. To top it off the pool was closed during our stay. We will not be returning.

Property was dirty. Room condition was poor. Looked like outside of building was under construction for improvement. Hopefully inside is next!

HORRIBLE Experience - Unclean, Infested, and Horrible Customer Service Our stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Deerfield Beach I-95 was an absolute NIGHTMARE. The room was filthy, with visible dirt and grime everywhere, especially under the beds. To make matters worse, we found a COCKROACH and some ants crawling on the bathroom floor. The humidity in the room was unbearable, making the air feel heavy and musty. When we informed the front desk about the cockroach, they said we absolutely have to leave so they can clean the room and we can’t come back for the rest of our stay and that they will REFUND US for the night we didn’t stay. So we checked out and left but when we checked with Expedia, they called the hotel and refused to refund us for the nights we DID NOT STAY. They lied to us. Not only did they not refund back for the nights we weren’t at the hotel, but the manager also showed up, yelling at us, and threatening to call the sherif. The rude and unprofessional behaviour of both the manager and the customer service team was appalling. They clearly have no respect for their guests. TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS if you value cleanliness and decent customer service.

Don’t let the photos fool you. The rooms are old, outdated and disgusting. The carpet was so dirty and the bathtub was full of mold. I was overcharged for pet fee. There are strange people wandering around the property. Was afraid my car would get broken into and did not feel safe walking my dog around there at night. I checked out early and am currently trying to get a night refunded.

The place is extremely dirty, the sofa bed mattress was of poor quality, there were no sheets for it. The pillows looked like pieces of rags. The towels were limited and insufficient. The smell of the carpet was unbearable. Simply terrible!

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept in, the tub drained extremely slow so it would fill up quickly, there were roaches in the room and the breakfast potatoes were undercooked both times I tried it. The staff was fine.

Everything is super dirty, bad smells, rooms full of bedbugs, it's a disgusting hotel.

As you open the door to your room you get hit with a horrible smell of old wet carpet and mold it was unbearable. Then there were stains and fluids of unknown origin on all the walls and bathroom had mold everywhere. Had to wear my shoes in the room the whole time because of how dirty it was definitely was not a good experience at all.

The rooms we booked were full of black mold. Had to be switched. No television, remote wouldnt work and offered no solution besides sorry. Run from the place. Dont ever book here. Jen, the morning desk person was the rudest customer service rep ever. Observed her talking down to breakfast staff person as well as talking over me when i tried explaining my situation. P.S. They said they would send housekeeping to clean the mold. What a joke. What about the source being dirty window a.c. unit? How does housekeeping clean it? Joke

Thank God there were no bugs. Very much a roadside motel with a facelift. Small room with the sink next to the front door and the mattress permanently caved in by 600lb.r's. No amenities, no shuttle service, no fresh breakfast/coffee with a brown bag of bomb shelter rations in it's place, and, very noisy with, I think, South American types making loud noise all night.

The bedding was very well worn, not crisp as I've been accustomed to in other LaQuinta properties. The room darkening curtains covered only half the window making it difficult to sleep. Then, after a tough night's sleep, they closed breakfast at 9am on a Sunday....Don't understand that one. Lastly, I've never felt so unwelcome in a hotel as this place. 8am I get a text asking me when I'm checking out. Then at 9am I get an email asking when I'm checking out. Water pressure was strong with plenty of hot water. Towels were similar to the bedding, well-worn from being washed too many times. I won't be back.

Great staff and very helpful. Not happy with room as it had a weird odor and wet spot on carpet near refrigerator. Had to buy candle & air freshner for room odor. No access to wifi as it's been issues connecting to android for several days per staff. Other than that, it was very convenient with stores in walking distance and very peaceful quiet. Cute gated dog area outside.

The property was old and dated. The gent at the front desk was helpful as our key was not work. Aside from that, the beds were uncomfortable, the room needed some work, and the love seat in the room had a disgusting stain on it. It served its purpose for the night, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The bedroom doors slam shut and vibrates through your room. They need to fix all their doors to quietly close.

Staff was very nice. Lobby was beautiful. However, the rooms are very dated. The pillows were quite flat.

The room I had was strangely situated at the end of the hall in a corner, the entire floor smelled like cleaner and pet odor but I was ok with that since I was traveling with my 6lb Maltipoo. The sink normally in the bathroom was in the entryway next to a small closet area across from the fridge and microwave. The luggage stand was broken and lopsided took it to the desk and the lady sarcastically accused me of breaking it I had only been there long enough to get into the room. The AC didn’t cool the room enough and the hot water didn’t work even letting it run for several minutes. The last straw was receiving a phone call ten minutes after I left the room the next morning to go get coffee 1/2 block away. Allegedly my dog was so disruptive that several guests complained about her whining. I let the lady know that I had only been gone a few minutes and was on the way back, which is when we really get to it that she forgot to charge me the pet fee. Charge it and check me out please this hotel is neither pet nor human friendly go to the one on the other side of I-95.

No safes in rooms and beds where horrible sank in the middle!

Quite dirty in the halls like no vacuuming had been done. AC was like an engine.

Stayed here over a half dozen times and the staff even recognize me as I walked in. Super nice people

The building needed some TLC

I called the hotel ahead of time to make sure I would be able to get a fold away bed or cut or something. They said no problem. When I checked him and I went to the room, I saw there was not that there when I asked for it. I was told they do not do that. The staff was extremely rude and disrespectful to not recommend staying here. Had a fight with my credit card company for a refund. I had checked out about two hours after I checked in. I was supposed to stay for a week.

Upon check in the staff offered little help even for a disabled person. Several times I called the front desk to request towels, rags tissue paper etc and it took hours to receive. And only because I kept asking really demanding it. I stayed for 4 nights not once did housekeeping clean my room, they took out the trash and nothing else. No restocking the bathroom and toiletries etc, no wiping down the toilet or sinks or shower. When I asked the housekeeper she got an attitude and started speaking in another language and called some guy over who continued speaking in another language and finally responded no they won’t change the sheets or clean the room until I check out! Nasty! Awful treatment, not recommended to stay I know I won’t ever book here again! Ever!! Not even if it was FREE!

The staff wasn’t very polite while we waited in the lobby for our room to be ready. The restroom in the lobby also wasn’t working, so we had to walk somewhere to use a restroom while we waited. They double charged my account for the incidental charge. So until that finishes processing, they have $200 of my money. Tried to call the location to sort it out, no answer and 1 hang up after 6 attempts. I called and filed a complaint with Wyndham, concerned about this locations policies and procedures. The room wasn’t worth what we were charged. I’ve paid less for nicer. More like a 2 star hotel for sure. Won’t go back or recommend.

I checked in near midnight on Friday, March 1st. I left my room on Saturday and returned late that night, to find my bed unmade and wet towels exactly where I’d left them for housekeeping. I notified the night clerk who apologized, made a note and said it wouldn’t happen again. I mentioned it at the desk as I left for the day on Sunday. The clerk made note and again assured me it wouldn't happen again. I got back late Sunday night to find my room again untouched by housekeeping. I spoke with the night clerk who again apologized and gave me fresh towels and shampoo. She suggested I speak with Tina (day manager) on Monday morning. I spoke with Tina prior to checking out. I voiced my complaints in a civil manner without raising my voice or using off-color language. I told her I would be giving this hotel a bad review and she told me she considered my comments as being "threatening"! I find it amazing that a manager in a national hotel chain would consider my valid complaints as "threatening". I think she may be in the wrong job if that's the way she handles each complaint. I contacted Travelocity and after hearing how bad the housekeeping was for my brief three-night stay at La Quinta Inns & Suites by Wyndham in Deerfield Beach, FL - the best that Travelocity could do was a $50 credit (NOT A REFUND). I’m 78 years old and never travel (this trip was for a funeral). So, I’ll end up with ZERO compensation. Awful experience!

Tried to check in. Desk girl told me to wait and go clean rooms, as she was short. Then after waiting 1 hour, she cancelled my reservation and screamed at me to get out. Yelling. I’m handicapped and walk very slow with two canes. I expect to be reimbursed as I booked another hotel.

Location, location, location near to everything. You need 10 minutes away from everything.

Good location and price

The room was clean, parking lot was well lit. Good security around the building. The lobby was being renovated so the elevator was not usable my first night, but that may be why i got such a good rate lol All in all a good bargain.

This hotel was located in a seedy area, with strange men loitering in the parking lot and roaming inside the hotel. There was one elevator in the lobby, that seemed antiquated. The hallway to our room was dated and smelled unsettping, while the actual room smelled of urine and smoke that was attempted to be cleaned. I attempted to checkout out of the hotel within 10 minutes of checkout, and quickly left with my family for fear of being robbed (or worse). The 6 rating for this hotel was way over exagerrated. The only good thing about it when the friendly front desk attendant. I do NOT recommend this hotel.

For the money, it is better than hotels at the same price. I would stay there again. Loved having a really good Wawa across the street. Got Slushies, coffee, meals, etc.

From the busted public bathroom on our arrival and having to go to the gas station across the street, to having gotten 2/3 of my packages denied just because the staff felt like it, this has got to be one of the crappiest stays I have had in a really long while. To make matters worse, our continental breakfast was a doggie back handed out with tickets. Just appalling overall. Stay clear of this property that clearly does not understand that for the price we were getting charged, stiffing customers with the experience is clearly not worth it.

This is a good place to stay if you are 1-day stay or passing through. It is right next to I-95 so it is easy to exit and move on. Beds were comfortable, the breakfast was till 9am unlike other places that go till 10, so I missed it.

Maria was very kind at all times. Breakfast should be improved, having scrambled eggs, pancakes and more.

Hotel was neat and clean. Free breakfast was minimal.

For $100 each night, this hotel did the bare minimum. The staff was not able to correctly key my door for my first 3 attempts, leading to many trips back to the front desk after a long day of travel. Also, complimentary breakfast was listed and all it was was a paper sack with a pastry and fruit because the dining center was under construction. The construction was messy and unsightly. Really, this was a $60 experience. Tried to ask for some money back on the mis-listing of things and was told to talk to Expedia.

La quinta was awful, the trainee was arguing with the trainer at check in, then we were not able to get adjoining rooms even when I called multiple times to ask for them, my kids were in the second room. They had full beds not queen beds, the tv remote was broken and the power button kept falling off, the bathroom shower was dirty, the sink was clogged, and they do not have continental breakfast, they gave us a ticket to get a bag. With a danish, a stale granola bar, an orange, a boxed juice and a bottle of water. The coffee tasted horrible as well.

Expedia ad showed breakfast included and they said due to renovation they weren’t offering it. Just a grab and go bag. Extremely disappointed! Would not have stayed here! And both bedside lamps did not work. Accommodation not worth the money!! Never again.

No complaints except breakfast should go later! Stayed 2 nights and missed breakfast both days! However coffee, tea, hot chocolate and lemon water available all day!
